I wasn't sure what to expect because sometimes these kinds of experiences can be a miss, but this one exceeded my expectations. Our instructor Moises, was funny, engaging, and always making his way around the room to answer questions and help, so you never felt lost. And the best part? The conchas were absolutely delicious. I usually enjoy coming here and have visited this bakery several times, but I wanted to share a few concerns from my most recent experience, particularly regarding the food preparation area. While waiting for our food, we noticed one of the employees who was preparing food cleaning the kitchen walls. After cleaning, they did not appear to wash their hands before putting on gloves and returning to food preparation. I understand gloves are used for sanitation, but proper handwashing before putting on gloves is also an important part of safe food handling. We also noticed one of the main cooks preparing food while wearing a sleeveless shirt. From a cleanliness and food-safety standpoint, this did not seem appropriate for someone actively working in the kitchen and handling food. Lastly, before ordering, we specifically asked how long the food would take because we were in a rush. We were told approximately 5-10 minutes, which helped us decide whether we had enough time to stay and order. Unfortunately, it ended up taking longer than we were told. I completely understand that food can sometimes take longer, but a more accurate estimate would have been appreciated so we could have made that decision beforehand. Always a wonderful experience at Alebrijes! They are our go to for pan dulce. I love that they have mini sizes and everything is always so delicious. I purchased food for the first time today, a Mexican breakfast burrito - ala Mexicana. It was sooo yummy! The tortilla tastes fresh and crispy. The food inside was delicious yet still didn't feel unhealthy or greasy. The size is decent. I had half and saving the other half for my husband to try later on. Speaking of my husband, he always grabs a horchata from here. Their horchata is 10/10! Lastly their service is always great. Everyone is always so kind and happy. The staff has been extremely friendly and helpful every time. I also love the color and ambiance of the place. Pan dulce/ food is so bomb here I had to also get my sisters gender reveal cake at Alebrijes! I always get so nervous ordering a cake but it was easy! So glad they were still open after I had gotten off work during the week! They have different cake options and design options and I of course wanted a heart shaped cake! The bread is not fresh. I got a chocolate muffin it was so dry! It tasted like chocolate syrup. I got 6 different breads and the okay one was the mil hojas. The tres leches is a 3/10 the whip frosting was ok by the the milk was overly sweet it tasted like if they just use condensed milk with water. read more

I'm so glad this bakery opened near my house. I've been here multiple times now for their pan dulce and food. The inside is so inviting and makes you feel like you are walking into a home. Where do I start so glad I found this gem in the Inland Empire. This bakery isn't only a bakery they also sell authentic Mexican food. The moment you walk in you enter to a really nice bakery with vibrant colors and Mexican decro. They have plenty of seating for you to enjoy their delicious food and bake goods. I ordered 2 tacos and they were not your small tortillas size tacos they were a full size tortilla loaded with meat. My favorite was the pastor tacos and asada tacos. I absolutely love it here! Their red enchiladas remind me so much of the ones my grandma used to make, and that has been extremely hard to find. You can taste that homemade flavor! I've also tried their horchata iced coffee and it is so good, super flavorful and refreshing. My mom's favorite is their café de olla and she loves that it isn't overly sweet like other spots. Of course I can't go without getting pan dulce, and their bolillos. Everything is fresh, soft, and just really good quality, and the prices are honestly great for what you're getting. The bakery that used to be here before was one of my fav places for a mollete so I was so sad that they closed BUT pan dulce here is the best I've had in a while. I'm not the biggest fan of conchas but this place is so good that I even love them here. They even have mollete's which ima definitely come back for because I hand no idea till today. I live near here so it's veryyy dangerous because they even have hot food and a tamal de pollo con mole that I WILL be back for.
