You are greeted when you come in and feel free to walk around and look around. If you need help you will get it without it being intrusive. The usually have sales on shoes and they have a great selection of walking, running shoes, dressy, hiking and etc. I came here with my husband to get a new pair of trainer and he was able to find what he wanted. The contents of the stores are the same as you'd find anywhere, but the atmosphere is unappealing and a little despondent. Out of all the Premium Outlets I've visited this one has probably been the most meh. The various store employees were mixed. There were some that were helpful, and other that sort of helped begrudgingly like they were doing you a favor. The upsides are that there is a lot of parking available, you're probably not going to have to deal with lines, and the stores all seemed well-stocked. The Shake Shack is not in the outlet mall, it's on the other side of the highway.

Within a few minutes it was clear to observe that this was an above average footwear store featuring high quality items that could not be found in many larger cities. I purchased some Keen closed toe sandals and a pair of Staheekum slippers. Both items were reasonably priced but not inexpensive. I had been looking for quality footwear in several of the larger department stores in larger cities without success. This is an old fashioned full service shoe store. The store is large, abundantly stocked, and somewhere between neat and immaculate. Comfortably laid out, and easy to touch and try on merchandise, especially boots and shoes without having to have a clerk running back and forth to the back room (this is very important). The prices are generally excellent to exceptional, and lots of high-quality brands. I've occasionally seen retail prices this good (ok, rarely), but never in this combination of large, neat, comfortable store, exceptional prices, and helpful staff. Kind of like REI for apparel, with plenty of overlap, but leans a bit more towards work clothing than hiking/mountaineering/leisure. I can't think of a store of this kind in the entire state that is this good. Worth the drive from far away, especially as the cold weather season approaches. Helps you survive winters up here!
