ALDI - Inside kit

This aldi is NICE. Has fancier things than my local one. Stoped for a break. Grabbed a few things…read more I like how it has Premium items for reasonable to affordable prices. Got some asian food kit to try out. Looks big enough to feed 2-4 people just $9 bucks. Fancy looking small Irish cheese wheel, went with regular cuz I'm the only one that would venture the whiskey n beer flavors. Fudge and a raisins to balance my wine brew. Its something that actually helps home brewing. the funny thing is that it doesn't add the raisin flavor but the sugar and the pith gives it a nicer feel in your mouth and helps with the color also, at end results. If you don't want to use fresh fruits, you can just ferment raisins and other dry fruit. Raisins are way cheaper than fruit but they are better to help keep the yeast healthy if you add to fresh fruit must. Can comfirm that canned fruit ferments nice too and can make "Frutas Bombas" its a high alcohol candied fruit but its not cooked like you may think. It's actually heavily fermented over a long period of time. Just canned fruit and yeast, no water added. Go with flip top jar don't lock it just use a cloth between the lid and mouth. Hard maybe on the water lock. But i like the cloth method. Hold enough alcohol n lets co2 escape without risk of it exploding. Trust me brah you do not want this stuff in your roof, walls and floor. They taste like if you infused gummy bears in Ever clear. I know it has another name in northern European countries. You'll see them during holidays on the shelves. Great in Alcohol based Pastries but i like it over a plate of Cheese n meats. Can elevate "violently" a rum cake into a scary place lol The fun part is they carry plenty of premium fruits and ingredients for fun brewing hobbies. If you not big in alcohol types, try a Skev. I like doing the apple one cuz its ridiculously easy. Sliced apple+ water in a jar. Put it in the fridge n burp daily. Drink it when u want before it turn into apple vinegar. Same with "Ginger bug" its sliced ginger+ water. Same method. This one is amazing if you got acid problems. Its very spicy too. Bye bye thanks for reading have a good day!

So follow them on Facebook and our Instagram. They are out east of Tampa so if you live out that way or are out that way def stop in. You won't regret it. Feel good wholesome food that supports out local economy. And the prices are quite fair. Also Gulf Coast Sourdough and some other treats. Very kid friendly. Wholesome. If you're in South Tampa, South Tampa Farm is also cool and Sweetwater Farm is great in Town and Country, but this spot may be even better, especially for out east toward Brandon and Riverview. Good clean healthy fun. Fresh tumeric. Ginger. Other spices. Swiss chard. Keep in mind the local produce especially is seasonal. Fall and spring especially lots on offer. Beans. Pole beans. Okra. Maters. Beautiful and farm fresh grown. One of my fav places in the area. Makes me smile

Josephine's Italian Market - Josie's half salad

Super impressed by their fresh and packaged meats and pastas (including gluten free). Got one of the special sandwiches with figs and goat cheese which was brought to my table for me. Y'all. It was amazing. When I paused to take a breath, I had already inhaled a quarter of it! A picture perfect cannoli finished off the meal and I got to chat with the owner's mom, Elena and waved to her husband Bob (working the deli). Will definitely be back!

Located in an older strip…read moreplaza off 60 near South Kings, you'd never suspect such a delightful, bustling place with top notch food is here. The parking lot is your only indicator, it wasn't packed for Sherwin Williams, the salon or the nail shop, that's for sure. My wife and I wanted some lunch. We were looking for a place as we headed back to Valrico from Tampa and my wife always loves an Italian sandwich. We walked in to a pretty busy place. People sitting about, a small bar area, a little market selling dried pastas and other goods to make your own authentic Italian meal. We were greeted by a friendly guy, who I can only assume was the owner. He asked if it was our first time. We said yes and he gave us the quick tour. A coffee bar, the market, the fridges with Italian sausage and pastas and then the big board. Their menu. He went over what they offered and what they are known for and left us to it. Without a doubt, my wife ordered the Italian. Ham, capicola, salami, peperoni, provolone, lettuce, red onion and hot and sweet peppers. This was also topped with dressing. A good slab of meats, a bit of spice, a depth of flavors you'd expect and all placed between fresh, tasty bread. My wife highly enjoyed this and would order again. I got the Monica. Prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, tomato, pesto and a balsamic glaze. The salty, thin meat was the base for this excellent, fresh and flavorful sandwich. I was looking for something a little "lighter" and this hit the bill. A more veggie forward sandwich, the cheese, arugula, tomato, pesto and balsamic brought all the flavor here and the salty-sweet flavor of the paper-thin sliced Italian ham added just the right amount of meat. The bread here was also a standout. I'd order this again too. As we sat and ate, more and more people came in, more and more people greeted the same way we were. Josephine's has what you're looking for in a family owned, local spot. Heart and excellent food. We'd come back here for sure.

This family-run spot, led by Ken and Andi, delivers an inviting experience with its open-air chicken coop, vibrant fruit trees, and a cozy farmstand open Thursday through Sunday. With its standout cinnamon rolls, homemade jellies, and the option to pop in for a quick treat during the day, Wingspread Farm earns a solid five stars. The baked goods are the heart of the menu, crafted from scratch with natural ingredients and no preservatives. The cinnamon rolls are legendary, rich Danish pastry swirled with sweet cinnamon filling and topped with a creamy glaze that melts in your mouth, available fresh on Saturdays. Pecan sticky buns ooze with gooey caramel and crunchy nuts, while the rotating selection of cookies in flavors like chocolate chip or unique specialties keeps things exciting. The artisan bread lineup shines with French baguettes that are crusty outside and soft inside, plus Hungarian soft milk bread that's perfect for toasting. Farm-fresh eggs from uncaged chickens add a protein-packed touch, and the seasonal produce, like mangoes, guavas, limes, and avocados from on-site trees, brings the garden to your plate. Don't miss the homemade jams and jellies--guava strawberry or habanero mango varieties burst with authentic fruit flavors, made without chemicals for a pure, tangy spread. Savory options like Hungarian salami and fine cheeses round out the offerings, making it easy to build a picnic or charcuterie board. The value comes from the freshness and variety, with generous portions that feel indulgent yet approachable. You can swing by during the day for a single cinnamon roll or jar of jelly, ideal for a quick coffee break or snack run, with the farmstand's laid-back setup encouraging relaxed browsing. Compared to big-box bakeries, Wingspread's handmade quality and local sourcing make every item feel special without excess. They even have several options for those gluten intolerant like my wife and daughter. The service is personal and heartfelt, with Ken and Andi greeting visitors like old friends, sharing stories about their sustainable practices or the chickens roaming freely. They're quick to offer samples or tips on pairing bread with their jellies, creating a community vibe that's as nourishing as the food. The farm is clean and disability-friendly, with paved paths and covered seating for comfortable lingering, plus the joyful sight of chickens doing their thing adds a fun, kid-friendly element. Wingspread Farm is more than a bakery; it's a slice of rural joy in Valrico. Whether grabbing a quick pastry or stocking up on eggs and produce, the wholesome treats and welcoming spirit make every visit delightful. For its exceptional baked goods, fresh farm offerings, and genuine hospitality, Wingspread Farm gets five stars. It's a must-visit for anyone craving artisan flavors and a touch of farm life.
