(This usually happens in frozen foods, but no area is safe when the perfect song hits). I've been shopping at this store for 19 years and have totally enjoyed chatting with the cashiers, baggers and stockers. Some of them have been there as long as me! It adds a layer of comfort and enjoyment to the everyday grocery run. The bathrooms are clean-the wine aisle is plentiful... and after Hurricane Milton, when the rest of this immediate area lost power for four days, this store opened... running on a generator, with dim lighting, for just a few hours a day, until power was back up. It was a blip of normalcy, in a world that was topsy turvy right then. There's plenty of parking... the baggers bring in carts in often... there's always an employee nearby to help out if you get stuck, using the self/checkouts... (and there are plenty of manned checkouts)... you can renew your auto tags here-rent a steam cleaner-change coins into bills... and the ac is great. It can get a little crowded, by the lottery kiosk/service desk, which can make for tricky navigation out of the store during busy times. Otherwise, it's perfection. Oh! This Publix is very nice inside and very clean but it is rather small then an average store. Very nice store with the same concept as other stores just not as many aisle or selection but great for those living in the downtown Tampa Bay area. This was my first visit and the service is here just like all other Publix. When I visit Tampa again I will stop by this store , it is very unique and has apartments above the store.

I had about a 30 minute drive home and we did end up eating this for dinner and I have to say I microwaved the sides and reheated the salmon in a pan just to keep the skin crispy and it turned out really good. On my latest visit, my hot bar food selections included: Sweet chili chicken 10/10 orange chicken 10/10 Chicken tika masala 9/10 Cheese lasagna 4/10 white fish 6/10 meatballs 8/10 The sweet chili chicken is great but they often have it at Publix for less but it is not always available like it is at Whole Foods. 9/10 The orange chicken had a great flavor as well and they don't ever have anything like that at Publix. 10/10 The chicken tika masala had a good flavor and was mild not spicy, could have had a little more spice but they're probably trying to appeal to more people. 9/10 The cheese lasagna was missing seasoning and meat. 4/10 The white fish was a little on the bland side and could have had a better marinade or seasoning. However, for those who want something light it could work. I wish Whole Foods had more fish dish selections available including some salmon. 6/10 The meatballs had a good flavor and sauce and were not too dry as sometimes happens with meatballs, especially if meatballs are too big. These were just the right size to not be too dry. 8/10 My overall high protein low carb selections weighed in at 1.3lbs at $11.99 per pound which totals to $14. It's a little cheaper than what I'd be charged for chicken tika masala at an Indian restaurant so it's kinda a good deal if you're craving something different, extra healthy, and wholesome. The hot bar is self serve so there is no table service. The ambiance at Whole Foods is modern but minimalist with lots of natural light and modest light wood tables and chairs. They usually have better produce than the ones in Brandon. The produce isn't as picked over as most Aldi stores in the area. It's less crowded than the newest store in Riverview. The line wasn't as long at this location despite only having one check out lane open. Maybe I just hit it at the right time. They have a good variety of cheese and salads. I even found pineberries here at a good price during strawberry season. I was also happy to see cases of La Croix on sale. It's the little things in life that make me happy. I'll definitely return to this Aldi in Seffner.
