Not a good ALDI!! I walked in & it was a MESS!! Cardbord boxes on the floor, trash, empty shelves with empty boxes tossed in. Too many people & I was in a rush to get home from an appointment by Northlake Mall. I popped in for dinner items. Around 5 pm maybe. Didn't feel comfortable taking pictures, but I can assure you most aisles were so bad. The produce was not good- tomatoes rotten. The seasonal section was a joke & customers have absolutely no shopping manners- carts in the middle, see I was trying to go by after I said, "Excuse me". I was ignored & had to push my way through- just ridiculous. Will not come to this location again. They don't even have much to choose from, a smaller store oddly layed out. I have another ALDI on Lawrencevill Hwy I pass & will hit that one going forward. Uggggg!!! read more

I want to love Aldi but it's hard. They get points for convenience (mainly a one stop shop) but they lose points based of the lack of staff and extremely long lines and wait times. I usually shop here on weekdays that is mostly on Wednesdays to do my shopping and experience the best new deals. I shop here at least once a week. They have many things you won't find in regular American grocery stores. The produce are the best of quality and the prices don't hurt your wallet. Excellent prices on fresh fruits and meats and the employees are very friendly and helpful. It's always a wonderful experience over here, I can get in and out in less than 10 minutes. Aldi is a retail chain selling a range of grocery items, including produce, meat and dairy. From fresh produce to organic foods, they have got it all for less, for everyday shopping. They also have household products and seasonal items. As this is located in a shopping plaza next to Best Buy stores, they share the parking space and it's free and spacious. You have to put a quarter in the basket chain to get your shopping cart, but you get it back when you return the basket to its original place. They let me borrow a shopping cart when I didn't have any change on me. You also must bring your own bags or buy their reusable ones and pack your purchases after checkout. Bring your own bags is highly recommended or you pay for it. Prices for health supporting foods are reasonable. There is a good selection of all natural, non-GMO foods plus the usual and great chocolates, household paper goods, some pet food, etc. Fresh produce selection limited to standard things like broccoli, asparagus, onions, peppers, lettuces and other greens, potatoes, avocados and a variety of citrus fruits, berries, melons and grapes. First time shopping here and I love it here! Lol, they had everything that I needed except for maybe 2-3 things [no biggie, I can go to another location] but I like shopping at this grocery store. The lady that checked me out had great customer service & I appreciate her kindness :) The lines were long but they called for back up immediately and got the lines down. Definition of teamwork and getting the job done. Con: this location was a little messy, so that's something to improve and work towards. read more

This is what my coworker calls an "upper class Aldi". Because if you visit other Aldi's around the ATL area, they do not look, smell or operate like this one. I personally always avoided Aldi's because of the rotting produce, the questionable meat and the less than desirable co-shoppers. This Aldi, however, is the exact opposite. I would say I miss judged the chain years ago, however, my coworkers confirm that this is an anomaly. I even have one coworker who shops here on their lunch break rather than shop at the one near her home. You can find great produce, a great "Never Any" brand of lunch meats that are good for you, even great fixins for a cheese/cracker/meat platter. Like all Aldi's, bring your own shopping bag, rent a shopping cart for $0.25 but it will be returned, and be prepared to save some money. read more

I am ridiculously happy that Tucker now has an Aldi. My favorite place to shop is now conveniently located close to where I live. This location is by far the best looking Aldi that I've ever been to like ever. The set up is similar to other Aldi's but this location seems to be a tad more spacious than most, so the alcohol section is not as condensed here. The produce was fresh as usual and this location offers all the same prepackaged and frozen foods as the others. Outside of this new store being extremely clean and well organized the customer service is outstanding. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. During my visit at around 11am on Sunday morning the store was surprisingly very busy and the two lanes that were open filled up quickly so they immediately opened a third lane. Don't forget to bring your quarter for your cart and your reusable bags when you come to shop here. I keep my bags in my trunk so I'm never unprepared. They have bags for purchase as well in case you forget yours. If you have never shopped at an Aldi before I'm sure once you do it will not be your last visit. Hopefully, my wonderful experience will be similar during future visits as this Aldi settles in. read more

ALDI is one of my favorite places to shop. Mostly because it's not fancy but they carry a lot of great produce and shelf foods that are offered at very reasonable prices. I recently had a book club gathering at work and 90% of the items were from ALDI. Their fruit and vegetables are fresh. And most surprisingly is that they carry vegan and vegetarian products. To keep cost down most of their stock is their own brands. But the quality is just as good as the major brands. The locations I've visited are all clean and well organized. Bring a quarter with you if need to use a shopping cart. You get the quarter back when you put the cart back in place. Also they do not provide bags for your purchases, but you can buy reusable bags at the register. Parking is plentiful and they have an app that's useful in seeing what's on sale. One word to describe my experience. RUDE. I guess you no longer greet people here if your a cashier. The cashier grabbed and wouldn't let go of my shopping cart so I could pull it over to the side and bag my own groceries. Then when I was trying to scramble to get my groceries out of the cart she started loading the cart with the next persons groceries behind me mixing her groceries in with my cart . So much for social distancing. She clutched onto the cart so I couldn't move out of the way then just started sending the next person through like I wasn't there. The rudest treatment I've ever seen in a checkout. I can't stand this store anyways and probably won't give it another try after several experiences like this read more

Great location for this Aldi. It is located in the same parking lot as the Best Buy and a strip mall. Parking can be a little hairy if it's a busy time of the day. The employees are usually really friendly and are always helpful if you can't find something. The only thing I haven't liked is the Aldi brand Cheerios, but everything else has tasted great and saved us lots of money. Some items are always there, some rotate as seasonal items, and then there are Aldi Finds, which vary each week. This store is clean and the employees work hard to get everyone through the check-out lines quickly and to keep everything stocked. We're regulars here ;) read more

I was not a believer in Aldi, even with a good buddy being a corporate manager. I couldn't believe how nice the store was and how they offered a cheaper equivalent to everything I happened to be looking for that trip. I will now always stop at Aldi before going to other grocery stores in the area! I am very impressed with this store and look forward to many more exceptional shopping experiences here! read more

Ye protest too much. I don't mind a quick checkout especially when the clerk is courteous and cheerful, which I always find the case at Aldi. Everyone there is helpful. Then of course the greatest joy at check out is a $60 total, as opposed to $100 at Publix or Kroger. I love this place. read more

I love Aldi's! It reminds me of shopping when I lived in Europe. The prices are reasonable and most of the products are of good quality. The frozen sea scallops are outstanding fro the price. Smoked salmon at a really good price, reasonably priced wine that is really quite good. Basic shopping at reasonable prices. I go every week. read more

I LOVE THE CONCEPT...except for the break up. They kick you to the curb before you've even paid and this drives me nuts. I can barely get my card out of the merchant device or the change in my hand before I am being buried by the next patron's groceries. It's this experience that keeps me away. I love shopping here, I love the selection, I love the prices, I love the convenience but all this gets wiped out by the final stage of the experience when you're standing there having paid and they are literally shoving you to the side. You have to be robotic in your approach to the check out or otherwise they will make you feel the fool and demonstrate in front of everyone there... you are in the way. This happen because it's a "self bag, your own bags" system. And believe me they are 100% consistent in NEVER touching your goods except in scanning the price. Once scanned you have a NANO second to get it into a box, bag or arms and the hell out of dodge or you're simply in the way because they've already rang up 6 items for the person behind you and their stuff is pilling up next to and over yours, so you can't roll the cart away and regroup. It's kinda elitist. Like "your lucky to shop here, now move along." I have a hard time justifying the savings to the feeling like I just got used...like someone asked to hang out just so I'd pay for everything and once they got their fix, they ditch ya. Like I said, I love the products and the selections but when I'm checking out I like to feel like my patronage is welcomed and enjoyed. I look around everytime and wonder, how do these elderly women handle it...it looks like they keep their pace and don't worry about it...perhaps I should do the same. I do know that rather than shop here weekly I limit it to monthly at best and far fewer items just so I can manage getting the items in my bags before I'm made to feel "in the way". They loose 4/5ths of what I spend on groceries because of this. read more
