a large display of wine bottles in a store

First things first, bring a quarter when you leave the car. You'll thank me later. The carts here are all chained together and a quarter releases your cart. Don't worry, you'll get it back when you return the cart to the same area. They do that to "keep costs low" as employees don't need to go out and round up carts every so often. Nice. As an added bonus the carts don't all have that bum wheel that makes the cart go in directions other than intended. This Aldi is a little bigger then the one I normally go to (US 1 in Jensen Beach). For some reason it's not on Yelp yet even though it's been open for at least 6 months. It's laid out the same with wine/beer, chips, chocolate etc in the first aisle. Hot Wife and I like their wines and one of the IPA's that they have. Off brand but a good value. As you wind through Aldi you'll find some good deals on products that other stores carry you just might not be familiar with the brand name. Rest assured the majority of their items are just like you know or even better. They have a great variety of organic products and a decent selection of vegan items. They even have a few varieties of veggie/vegan burgers that are well priced and taste great. However I would like to see them carry the full line of vegan products (nuggets, cheeze etc) that Aldi does indeed make but I've yet to find in their stores. Checkout is speedy as the checker doesn't bag any of your items, you do that afterwards in the bagging area. First time it was a bit awkward but now it's kind of nice. Get in line, and get out quicker then usual grocery stores. We really do save a decent amount of money shopping at Aldi. It doesn't fill all of our grocery shopping needs but the things we get at Aldi are cheaper and usually much better quality.

For what it is, it's good. You certainly can't do a full grocery shopping haul here, but what is in the store is decent. It actually reminds me of Trader Joe's waaaaay back in the day (early 90s) when they only sold random off-brand stuff. And the prices on said off-brand merch can't be beat. The few name brand things they do have don't seem to be a deal. I was very pleased with how nice the cashier was. Bring your own bags, and bag your own groceries (or buy paper bags for 6 cents each). And there's the whole 25 cents for a cart thing (see my tip).

Nice inexpensive store that still carries some organics. Recommended if you are watching your wallet but still care to get healthy stuff.

In light of our current circumstances, I thought it might be helpful to share an experience I had…read morewith this great organization. Like so many, I was in search of ways to find groceries that were free of the obstacles we are all currently navigating. I came across a referral for this company on Nextdoor, and I placed an order online for many items including lots of produce, dairy, eggs, pasta, flour, and even bleach. I couldn't be more impressed by the entire experience. While I was finding this new way of shopping to be strange and unsettling at first, I quickly changed my mind and now hope such a fantastic service will continue far after these trying times! For all who are considering shopping through Erneston Produce, here's just a few of the highlights from my experience: *The online ordering process is quick and simple. *They offer many more items than I expected, including produce and grocery and household items. * The pick up process was outstanding! It was organized and incredibly quick; the staff was very mindful and respectful of safety measures, working hard all while still smiling and being friendly; I didn't have to get out of the car or exchange payment by hand. You can use Venmo to pay for your order, which I did. There wasn't ever a moment where I was within six feet of anyone or felt my safety was compromised. *Every item I ordered was fulfilled, and each was separately bagged, regardless if came in its own packaging or not, making the cleaning process at home so much easier. *All of my items were carefully placed in large boxes that were stored in a refrigerated truck until my arrival. *The quality of the produce (and all other items) was beyond impressive! I don't often see anything like it in our typical shopping venues. *The company's prices were more than fair and reasonable! Typically, I would expect to pay double what I did for the same order when shopping as I normally do. I could go on and on, but I hope my point is made and that shoppers in need consider this option so that this company can keep its staff employed, which they are desperately trying to do. After my purchase, I was so impressed that I reached out to a staff member and wrote an email to the COO. Their response couldn't have been filled with more gratitude, and it was made immediately clear how it all went so well. I'm all on board for being a loyal customer of this great company. I included some photos of a few of the items I purchased. Hope anyone who gives them a try feels the same afterward. Stay safe! https://ernestonproduce.com/ P.S. I included a tip in my payment that was greatly appreciated. Hopefully others will do the same if they are able. It would be well deserved.

Today you can find the Stuart Green Market on Sunday Mornings next to the St. Lucie River waterfront in historic downtown Stuart. All of the items must be handcrafted unlike the Ft. Pierce Green Market which is on Saturdays. It's also smaller than the Ft. Pierce market. Free parking was easy to find. Vendors were selling artisan crafts and handmade jewelry, produce, gourmet foods, and accessories. My favorite item was the Jeff Hinkley Copper Art wind chimes made out of copper, wood, and brass. I might have to go back for one of those. If you can't make it to the market, he also sells on Etsy. I also liked the wooden beach chair plant holders from Jimmy's Woodcrafts. After you shop the market you can listen to live music at the waterfront stage and wander the many unique shops and cafes in downtown Stuart.

Fort Pierce Farmers Market is bigger and also has more food vendors and is closer to the water with shade. Both are pretty nice markets in the area! I'm glad I was able to visit both of them while in town. I love the orchids vendor and the homemade purses vendor. My actual favorite one was the vendor who sold gluten free baked items but not for them baked items but the beach chairs that are actually plant holders. They have a band right next to the water from 1-4, so if you come around 12 or 1230 you can check that out too!

You can order food all the way at the back of the store. They also have ready to eat food and sides in the refrigerator section. I grabbed a big slab of spanakopita for $10 (delicious once I threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes at home), hummus (also delicious - it was very smooth), and stuffed grape leaves/dolmas. I also ordered a double shot of ginger juice (which seemed more like a single shot in a tiny sauce container for $5), chicken shawarma platter and chicken Greek salad. For almost $17, the chicken shawarma was a bit disappointing in terms of portion size - it came with two sides, which we did French Fries and grilled veggies. Taste wise it was it was decent but I didn't get full from it. I went on a weekday afternoon and they had a steady stream of customers but only one guy manning everything so service was not the fastest. There were several tables available to dine in but most do take out.

The kibbe was very crispy and firm, the baklava was sweet and flaky, and the lamb shawarma was the highlight--absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it; it tasted incredibly fresh. The Turkish coffee was a bit of a letdown. I usually enjoy black coffee, but maybe I just haven't acquired the taste for it. The service was great--the server was friendly and always had a smile! The restaurant itself looks a bit run-down from the outside, but the inside is relatively clean. It's nothing fancy, but it's a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be coming back for the lamb shawarma and baklava, and I'd love to check out more Lebanese snacks and goodies!
