Stopped at this Aldi on a very busy Saturday afternoon. This Aldi unit is rather small so it felt rather crowded. We were able to find the few items we needed and get back on the road. The store appeared to be clean and well stocked. As typical at most Aldi locations, there were only 2 cashiers on duty but they kept the check out lines moving quickly. Remember to bring a quarter for your shopping cart (you'll get it back when you return the cart) and your own grocery bags. Would return when I'm in the area again. read more

I have been an Aldi shopper since 2005. Have always loved shopping there. Most ALDIs are standard in what they offer and I'm always pleasantly pleased by their staff who show pride in their work. Especially in Gainesville, GA. This one star is for this Aldi located in Stuart, FL only. Recently I moved to Hobe Sound, FL and this Stuart Aldi is the closest to me. I have been terribly disappointed by this Aldi. I have come different days of the week to get half and half and they are always out. There seems to be less attention to keeping their displays organized so it's hard to know what the prices are. Is it bc of the snow birds in FL that their stock depletes within a day of shipment? Also do the people in FL (or the tourons that come here) show less respect and feel it's ok to disrupt the displays so that the prices are no longer representing what is on the shelf? Shopping is getting more problematic as companies seem to push you to purchase online, but my shopping experience at this Aldi and other places in Stuart, Fl have been downright disappointing and frustrating. This 5th experience at this Aldi just put me over the edge making me leave this review. Next task is to let the Chamber of Commerce in Stuart know how bad shopping in Stuart is. read more

I was hoping for more organic choices including gluten free options.. it is a hit and miss kinda shopping

First things first, bring a quarter when you leave the car. You'll thank me later. The carts here are all chained together and a quarter releases your cart. Don't worry, you'll get it back when you return the cart to the same area. They do that to "keep costs low" as employees don't need to go out and round up carts every so often. Nice. As an added bonus the carts don't all have that bum wheel that makes the cart go in directions other than intended. This Aldi is a little bigger then the one I normally go to (US 1 in Jensen Beach). For some reason it's not on Yelp yet even though it's been open for at least 6 months. It's laid out the same with wine/beer, chips, chocolate etc in the first aisle. Hot Wife and I like their wines and one of the IPA's that they have. Off brand but a good value. As you wind through Aldi you'll find some good deals on products that other stores carry you just might not be familiar with the brand name. Rest assured the majority of their items are just like you know or even better. They have a great variety of organic products and a decent selection of vegan items. They even have a few varieties of veggie/vegan burgers that are well priced and taste great. However I would like to see them carry the full line of vegan products (nuggets, cheeze etc) that Aldi does indeed make but I've yet to find in their stores. Checkout is speedy as the checker doesn't bag any of your items, you do that afterwards in the bagging area. First time it was a bit awkward but now it's kind of nice. Get in line, and get out quicker then usual grocery stores. We really do save a decent amount of money shopping at Aldi. It doesn't fill all of our grocery shopping needs but the things we get at Aldi are cheaper and usually much better quality. read more

I like Aldi because it's a smaller store so I'm in and out. The items in the store are great prices. My only complaint is they only have one lane with 1 person to check you out, so the line is extremely long. All other check outs are for you to do, unload, scan and put back in your cart. I pay for my cart, bring my own bags, and I am fine with that, but I refuse to scan my items and check out instead of a real live person! What's next? Stock the shelves! Just open another check out lane with a friendly live person that will check us out. read more

My husband who is a disabled veteran and I like Aldis . Unfortunately the cashier at the Stuart Florida store is very rude and when called out on her rudeness her supervisor comes from her hole to defend her.. hopefully we're getting an Aldi closer to us in Palm City. If want to receive a free helping of nastiness with your grocery order, then by all means go shop here!! The cashier was possibly the meanest 'customer service' person I have encountered. Ever. She had the person in line before me practically in tears as she yelled out 'What, don't you have any money?' loud enough for all to hear. Then it was my 'turn'. She was extremely rude and curt, immediately became agitated and let's just say it didn't go much better. I was shaking by the time I got out of there after receiving my dose of abuse. This is a great store. The size is perfect, I can get in and out quickly. Some people complain about putting in a quarter for the shopping cart, I look at this as a bonus I no longer have to worry about my car getting scratched by abandoned shopping carts because every one returns the cart to get the quarter back. For what it is, it's good. You certainly can't do a full grocery shopping haul here, but what is in the store is decent. It actually reminds me of Trader Joe's waaaaay back in the day (early 90s) when they only sold random off-brand stuff. And the prices on said off-brand merch can't be beat. The few name brand things they do have don't seem to be a deal. I was very pleased with how nice the cashier was. Bring your own bags, and bag your own groceries (or buy paper bags for 6 cents each). And there's the whole 25 cents for a cart thing (see my tip). read more

After hearing my response, she quickly went to search for the item. She said they were sold out, but they were getting another shipment later that day. My favorite place to grocery shop. Great prices fresh food, healthy food. I love thier Coconut Chia cereal, and Vanilla Honey Yogart. The last couple times I was in there only 1 check out was open, luckily the girls at the register are fast. I love it! There are specific things that I have to get at another store but the prices are outstanding and the "off brands" are just as good. I like Aldi store, they are quite reasonable with prices. My only issue is, it's very busy & every time I go there the workers are stocking shelves. So to get through the store, which isn't big you not only have to navigate people but also the large carts the workers are parking in front of you to stock as you reach for something. We have been shopping here as long as we have lived here,All the employees have always been very friendly,yesterday we were out and about and needed some items and realized we had no quarter for the cart,just our bank cards and a bag ,my husband and I are both disabled but managed ,me carrying items in a bag and my husband carrying a watermelon,as we check out,register 3 opens we proceed,the cashier puts our stuff in the cart and I was happy thinking I can go across the parking lot unload and bring the cart back inside,well the cashier,black hair and glasses says out loud,I need that cart back and I said can't I just use it to bring our stuff out and bring it back,well she acted like we robbed her,the nasty look we got ,so I gave it back,I don't,use our disability as a crutch nor does she know that my husband has heart issues ECT.Is'nt it proper to be polite to a customer and not treat us like crap!!!! We have never had anyone treat us in that matter,this cashier should be taught how to treat customers and not act like she owns the darn shopping cart!! Or like we would,steal a quarter,we def. don't need too but she made us look like fools!! I was skeptical when this first came to my area. My first trip in was just to check out what they carried and prices. I realized it was small enough where I couldn't get all my grocery shopping done here. However the prices and the few items I first purchased was cheap. I hadn't gone back until much later when my diet changed and I need items that were way more expensive in my reg grocery store. Now I can get all the fresh produce I need at half the cost of my local grocery store. They have a decent selection of organic items and some vegan. I can get my grains and nuts here way cheaper. I contemplated shopping at NutrionSmart but they are way beyond expensive. Since the first trip I then came prepared with my own bags that I always use and the quarter for the cart. People were nice checkout is quick and I can always find a parking space. Bonus it's on my way home and so close by. read more

Aldi in Stuart, Florida is the BEST PLACE in town! The store is a manageable size to walk (unlike Walmart), well stocked with a wide range of specialty brands (not necessarily familiar). I have only been there once, and for that one time I would give it an average rating. I love the concept, no name brand=less cost. Wish it was more fully stocked. I would have rated it higher, except the less cost apples had no taste whatsoever. Maybe fruit is not the thing to buy there.... the less cost caramel rice cakes were delicious. It's funny to watch people write bad reviews on here. Because it's always complaining about not having brand name items. People in America are so afraid to go away from brand names. They don't realize other products come with equal or much better quality. But people are just too stuck into brand names. I have shopped here before. And I don't shop anywhere else now. They always have great items. And the quality is fantastic. Sometimes I need to run to walmart or publix to find things I like. But Aldi has pretty much everything you needs that is way cheaper then even Walmart. I save probably 30-45% on average every week at Aldi compared to Walmart. Do yourself a favor. Don't pay attention to the negotiable reviews. If you can step outside your comfort zone and get over buying brand names then you will love this store. Aldi is not for everybody and I kind of like it that way. But if you enjoy saving a lot more money and feel good buy organic and more natural products. If you like good customer service and surprise Aldi finds to keep shopping interesting then you will never shop anywhere else. read more

The quality of their products is outstanding. They have some name brands but the off brands are wonderful. The produce is organic if preferred, fresh and priced well below Publix. Their meat is fresh. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, I do have to go to another store for specific things but most of my shopping is done at Aldi... I come out with 10 bags for around $60. read more

I like this store very much. First of all, I can usually find a parking place near the entrance...yea! It is smaller than the huge supermarkets, so it takes much less time and effort to get around the store. I find that the store brand items here are as good, or in many cases BETTER THAN similar brand-name items and COST LESS too! Now, you simply won't find all the options and choices you have at a huge full-size full-service supermarket. You won't find 10 brands of mayonnaise, or a dozen brands of pasta sauce. However, what you do find at Aldi's will be very good quality, cost less, and you will be in and out of the store much faster! I shop here for good quality items and to save money and to save time. I do still patronize the big supermarket stores for certain items we like that Aldi's doesn't carry, or for the full-service deli, but I have to say that I don't go to the big stores every week anymore. Two tips: bring a quarter and some plastic grocery bags, or some shopping bag with you. The quarter is to unlock a grocery cart (you get the quarter back when you bring the cart back and lock it back in - very simple and easy) and the bags are for your groceries, as the store does not supply bags. These are cost reducing measures for the store, which helps them to keep prices down and reusing bags is also eco friendly. If you forget to bring a bag, which I have done more than once, they do sell a reusable bag for something like 10 cents. I just fold and keep them in the door pocket of my car so I always have one handy. Also, I have found the employees here to be polite and helpful. If you have to have hundreds of options and brands ad infinitum, you may prefer the super-sized supermarkets, but If you care about saving time AND saving money I think you will enjoy a lot of what Aldi's offers. read more
