Small butcher shop in a huge shopping center close to Publix. I actually went to Publix first for bacon, but decided to go here instead to support a local business. I attempted to open the door at 9:00 (opens at 9) only to discover it wasn't open yet. I returned about 10 minutes later and the owner was there. I left with a 1/2 pound bacon. I wanted ground beef and chicken wings but wasn't available. After cooking the bacon-I will say that it was oddly unsalted and due to the high fat content shrunk to nothing. Been to this butcher shop many times since moving here 3 years ago. There are some nice specialties so take some time to shop. Their cheeses are good and they have some different ribs that are fairly reasonable pricewise. Yes, they do have some wagyu and the price varies based on the quality. I've tried some of the Australian and it is good for the price. Chicken is reasonable and of good quality. I see no reason not to return. read more

Great little spot in a strip mall. I was looking to get a nice quality filet to cook for my girlfriends' parents while we were visiting. I didn't want the standard meat you get in Publix so I looked up this place and although it only has 5 reviews, it is a true 5 star place. I got 3 filets and the owner (I believe) asked me exactly how I wanted them cut and cut them a nice size. It's not going to be cheap, if you want a good cut of meat but after eating these steaks, I was not disappointed. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a cut above the average supermarket steaks. read more

Small, privately owned (I think) butcher shop and it was great. I read reviews and people complained about the prices. I thought the prices were good. The Wagyu was super expensive but isn't it always? Don't buy it if you don't want to pay, plenty of other good choices. I got a prime tri tip. It was terrific and 14,99/lb. I found this place on Yelp and there's a picture of a guy with a mask on. So I drove here and the guy isn't wearing a mask. Great little find. My sister and I drove out of our way to come here as there's not a lot of meat markets or butcher shops in the area. My husband is a meat extraordinaire and knows a good cut when he has one. So I bought him some stuff here as well as my dad. A friend suggested that I go to Stuart since I was saying I couldn't find a decent cut of Rib Eye in Palm Beach Gardens. So I went to The Butcher Shoppe and stood in line for 1/2 hour because of the lockdown we are in at this time. When I got inside I walked into a real old fashion butch shop. The staff was very helpful so I got several cuts of Rib Eye. The cuts look good but what really impressed me was when I got home and cooked one for dinner that night the taste was incredible. It's worth the drive to Stuart now that I've found where I can get a great cut of meat. read more

Was looking for a butcher that sold oxtail and could cut them thinner than Publix (due to OASHA rules) Found 2 in Stuart and did my due diligence. Went to the Butcher Shoppe first which was located just south of bridge in the publix shopping center. I was really impressed with the layout, their display of the meats and with the Gentleman behind counter. I was surprised to hear that the store was there for 20 years. He was very informative and patient with my questions. I told him I needed to check out the other place which was a mile or so away from him. I was not impressed with the other store, the look of their meats, when I asked questions I felt they were in a hurry. They seemed very nice but was not for me (plus they didn't carry Oxtail). Went back to this store and ordered a slew of meats. He asked how I wanted the meats cut, divided up (rack of lamb chops, chop meat) etc. I'm not sure if I was speaking with the Owner, Bob Kennedy or not but he was great. I had a very good experience and definitely will be back. read more
