I love going to Aldi but this one is kind of in a sketchy part of town. I think it is because of a lot of people go here and it's starting to look run down inside and outside. I did find lots of clearance in the store. Found some items for lunch. read more

I was treated like a thief by the manager. There were 3 items that appeared on my receipt without me scanning them. We noticed the mistake when I was driving back home, we returned to the store to complain about what happened and the manager treated us like we were stealing the items. The manager came to my car to check the bags and said "this is a lot of items for only two bags". How would you feel after that? Of course, anyone would be offended. Then, I took the bags to the store and check the receipt and every item in the bags. She ended up having to returned the money, but said "Not sure how these items 'magically' got in the receipt. Again, insulting me. Corporate office would get a longer email about this manager ( refused to give me her name) and the way she handled this situation. Terrible customer service. read more

Aldi is great. We bought their Winking Owl brand wine for $2.59!!!! And honestly, it tastes pretty awesome! You won't find cheaper groceries in town. read more

This discount store offers a great range of food, produce, frozen foods and all at a much lower cost than your typical store, because it does away with fancy marketing, mood lighting, and other overhead costs. People: welcome to the grocery store of the future where the curated selection eases customers choices. You will find regular groceries, household cleaning materials, paper goods and unique specialty gift items such as European chocolates and specialty meats at ONE LOCATION. Also, this store can help Americans learn from the Germans about minimizing waste and bringing your own shopping bags to reduce plastic use. I just wish they would locate closer to northern Virginia....this is sooo far out. read more

I shop - ALDIs most of the time. I have shopped this particular store for several years. Lately the quality is suffering Especially try he fruits veggies and produce. My last purchase was tangerines. It hasn't been a week and they are already bruised and turning brown. Half the onions I bought are rotted on the inside. The store looks run down and not well cared for. read more

Love this place! It's going to kill me when they close for a month to remodel but it will be worth it. I'm especially happy with the meats and the organic selection is impressive! Organic Cherry tomatoes are half of what you would buy in giant and shoppers. read more

Like to buy in Aldis but the one in Garrisonville is too small they don't have enough items!!! Use to be more cheeper slowly the raise their price but still good deal. One more thing the vegetables they should trow away when is bad, i did spoke several times to the empleyees and manager they still continue to keep bad vegetables until is gone!! barely care!! the Employees are very nice specially the cashiers. read more

I have no idea why more people don't shop at Aldi stores. Who doesn't love to save money? Like, really? Okay, okay, I guess saving some money and getting your own cart isn't for all. Or bringing your own bags for that matter but I don't mind. How often are the big lots of Walmart actually clear of shopping carts anyway? (Yeah, I just went there.) Aldi doesn't have all the big brand names that you might be used too, but if you are open to new brands that carry the same thing, I strongly recommend Aldi. But when it comes down to it, do Nestle chocolate chips really taste that different than an off brand in chocolate chip cookies? Absolutely not. You are too focused on getting that hot, gooey deliciousness into your pie-hole as fast as you can that you don't care brand it was made with. This store is always really, really clean. I've never found anything wrong with the fresh produce or other items in the store. I watch the sales ads for many grocery stores, and while the meats can run high here, don't let that scare you. Everything is always intact and whole. The store does carry other items for the home and toys too. With Aldi's low prices, we were able to buy so many toys for charity this past Christmas season that my husband thought I went over budget. (I did not!) Aldi is a staple for our family and we recommend it to everyone. Just like everything in life, don't let difference scare you. Give it a try, you might like it. read more

This is a discount grocery store. This location is very clean and the people who work there are very nice. A lot of times when you go to cheaper places they seem trashy and uncomfortable... This place is not like that. Go and save some money. read more

I love this little hidden gem of Stafford! I have a family of five sons, plus two adults, and to make ends meet we like to be wise with our spending. Aldi saves us almost half of our typical grocery bill every month. We do supplemental shopping for some items at other stores, but the bulk of our groceries are purchased from Aldi. My husband says the Triscuit knock offs are better than Triscuits, and I love the artisan pastas. Way better than boxed pasta. read more

i'm not in love with Aldi but it'll do. I have purchased cheap bags of fruit, or onions, but the middle of the bag has been rotten. U really can't check the bagged stuff thoroughly. I have never purchased meat there. My kiddos LOVE the knock off snacks and crackers. I will have to give it a couple more visits to really give it another chance. The prices are low, but you have to know which products to buy or not. Is there a reason they don't hire men or white women?

They have everything you need if you are on a budget plus some organic item that at low in price. I want to buy everything that comes out but I have to control myself. I do get the plants in season because it is cheaper the Wally World and they have some organic meats and produce. This place has the right idea. read more

Just checked out out this place and was surprised to see a very nice grocery store nearby. Small, not trying to stock every thing, but it provides a great selection of common grocery items. They all look good quality with incredible prices. Milk is almost 50% cheaper than costco. read more

Where I'm from (MD) Adi's were always in the "hood" so I was never able to shop there. Lo & behold in VA Aldi's are everywhere!! And it's near me so I go weekly...I luv the quality of the meats, produce & frozen fish. Aldi is a German based store who's concept is to only sell what sells! An item is not carried again if it does not prove itself on the shelf. Their store brand products are really good. They also purposely do not have many cashiers. 1 rarely 2, because the cashiers have to have so many products scanned while register is open, or they must be restocking shelves during a moment of down time. You should bring your own bag, that you can fill while shopping. Carts cost .25 cents and they only accept debit cards using your pin or cash. This reduces store cost because credit cards charge 4-6 cents per transaction! Staff is always pleasant. There was a Spanish speaking lady who was sooo nice but I think she is gone now. The neat thing about Aldi, is that ALL walks of life shop here. I thought it would be mostly immigrants but noooo All persons are here. It seems though that parents let their kids run WILD in this store. There is always one screaming yelling & running down the aisles, that is annoying, but what can you do? The produce taste, priced, and looks great! The dairy is reasonably priced, and the meats cheeses are great. Their store brand soda , coffee , boxed baking goods are great!! And I do my own taste test so believe me on this. Lines can be long especially on Saturdays. You bag your own groceries. Aldi also sells items for the home, different items bi-weekly and seasonal. So for back to school (when I am writing this) they have lots of college dorm items all are guaranteed. In the spring they have top quality garden items and they even sell plants when in season. Octoberfest is coming so they will sell tasty German specialties of the highest quality. Our Aldi is clean and does not have a deli like other larger ones do. Ours is considered small actually. Parking lot is old and run down, the whole shopping center needs to be refurbished. A Dollar General and some Karate place is there. It is safe to go there at any time day or night. It opens at 9am but used to close at 8pm! now it's 9pm closing. I luv this Aldi and am thankful it's so close by. Stop in once to check it out. Oh! Aldi mainly sells pantry staples & wine , you won't find grocery extras here. The only items that arent so tasty are the bagged salty snacks like chips & pretzels. The type of salt they use taste STRANGE like it's not iodized or something like baking soda?. Their nuts & candy are delicious. Try this store at least once especially for the produce, you will be pleased.: ) read more

Obsessed. Great store for organic and low-cost, but high quality food. Don't be deterred, give it a shot and you won't regret it.

You can save money at Aldi's, if you are OK with off-brand items, quality seems good on most items. They carry a number of organic foods, several in produce and some packaged corn tortilla chips. They usually have some bags there (for sale), but I prefer to just take my own. Come prepared to put in a quarter if you want a shopping cart. read more
