Beautiful flower field where you can also pick colorful flowers. They have a store with a great selection apple made goodies, apple pies, apple jam, apple bread and more. There is a cafe inside with seating area lots of people were enjoying the food. Ice cream parlor and fudge stand. Everyone was very polite and friendly.

You can take a tractor ride into the orchards for $6. For additional charges you can pick your own apples and fill your bag as much as you can fit. Cut fresh flowers and sunflowers. Then make your way to the market that has everything from jams and jelly's to honey and fresh made fudge and fresh fruit smoothies and a variety of flavors of fried pies. You also have a selection of breads and apple breads. And did I mention apples? Bags and bags of apples are also available for sale. We tried the dried apple and the chocolate pecan fried pies.... They were good but nothing spectacular. Wish they were warm as would have tasted better in my opinion. Cashiers were nice overall and helpful with our questions. Lovely place for a nice weekend activity to attend.

A fun fall date!…read more Southern Belle Farm, located in McDonough, provides hours of wholesome fun and free parking. My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

Some folks on a local restaurant page were talking about how good the produce is here, so I decided…read moreto check it out. I went on a Saturday morning a little after opening. The store is quite small, but they weren't kidding...the produce is fresh!! Because it's so small, it can get a little crowded in the aisle, but it all worked out. I went primarily for the corn, and there were only seven ears left. I took six of them and felt kind of bad, but when I was checking out, I heard that more was on the way on the delivery truck. I guess there had been some sort of delay that morning in Atlanta. We also bought some peaches and cherries. Everything tastes so great! The peaches are amazing! I didn't but any this trip, but the tomatoes and peppers looked outstanding! I will be back...going to try coming on a weekday so maybe it's not so cramped inside. Oh.. and the gentleman working the register was very kind and sociable!!

We were recommended to Prewetts, by a lady who works in Dalton where we had lunch..."Thank You"!! It was an excellent couple that we interacted with at Prewetts and WHAT a great selection! Too much for the ol' suitcases to handle, so I placed a sizable order online when I returned home. ALL of the products that we ordered are WONDERFUL; from jarred peaches to peach jam to fried peanuts (salted and the garlic, too) to okra to peach cider,...one sip and I went to Peach Heaven. I told my husband that we cannot travel 3,000 miles every time that we want to experience this, but we just found a NEW (regular) online vendor!! We will see you all (errrr, I mean "y'all") again when we fly to GA. No doubt!! :) :)

Not to our surprise, we found a gem! They sell a plethora of all naturally grown products (no preservatives) just to name a few: fresh pecans, nuts, an assortment of jams/spreads/butters, ciders, fresh honey and much more! They even have their pecans cooking in their crock pots nice and hot with two different flavors. They offer samples to settle your buyer uncertainties :-). They also sell souvenirs, which was a plus for us being that i was pretty bummed we didn't get the chance to purchase one before we left the city. The owner was extremely kind, and sweet! He answered any questions I had and began to engage in conversation with my boyfriend about the history of the town. I couldn't say enough good things about this shop, but when I asked him if he knew what yelp was he didn't have the slightest clue, so you know we had to put the shop on the map!!! Check them out, you won't regret it!! The chocolate covered pecans are amaaaaazing. And the cider is 10/10. They're located right next to the Sunoco gas station, right off the 411 highway exit. I hope this review helps them get the recognition they deserve! Definitely would come again.

I think if it was warmed it would have been better. There is also no indoor seating (which usually is probably not a problem). But since it was rainy and cold we couldn't sit outside, and there were zero seats inside, so we went back to our car to eat. Everyone was very nice and I would go back, but I would also have better expectations
