Grocery Outlet is not a proper name that describes this store…read more Their produce is old! I mean unfit to eat. Their prices are not in line with an outlet.,, at least what 'outlet" used to mean, i.e., discount. Where are the discounts???? What should be $1 is now $2 or $3!!!!! and you need to pay attention to the expiration dates! I bought noodles that were marked $1.99 (knowing that they should be a $1 or less) and when I went to check out, they came up as $2.99!!!!! Check your receipts! No... I am still trying to find a grocery store who is not starving people with flippin high prices.

This used to be a great place pre 2020…read more The past couple years though EVERYTIME I've stopped the staff always has something better going on behind them than to fully turn around and engage with the transaction. Never a greeting or a thank you. They just start ringing up products then grumble the total at you as if I was dealing with a cashier at Dollar General. It is tough to hire help anymore. I get it. Maybe it is time for the owners to install a self-check out kiosk or have a self-service cash box as some other farm stores do. The owners should be embarrassed of the current state of the retail side of their operation. I am embarrassed for them. The seafood salads are still pretty good. The dairy products struggle to be average. Flavored milks and sugar drinks they sell are a real snore.

Not all items are expired, some are. My only issue is that when I was in the store, there was a sign requiring masks. I noticed Mennonite women without masks, and nothing was said or done. There were few enough people here where I was not too concerned, but I did find the enforcement of the mask policy unsettling considering we are unfortunately in the midst of a pandemic.

They are not vendors they are people that are looking for things that drive instead of walk. I have seen people with strollers almost hit. I have seen elderly people almost hit as well as kids. This is not an exaggeration. I stopped frequenting the outdoor area because of this reason. There is staff in the area, I don't know why this is permitted but it's dangerous. I said something to staff and was told they are vendors that are leaving. They were not, they wouldn't be going up and down all the isles if they were leaving. After that experience I no longer said anything but I will not return.
