I really love Aldi! but first came to ALDI (store #56) at this address: 735 NE 167th St I won't go anymore! The reason is that I did not like the service of the cashier named Alexandrinov, who simply threw all the products into the cart. Also, he did not announce the total of my purchases. I made a remark to him, to which he said "if you don't like go to the manager". I go to this Aldi once a week to check things out. Yesterday, I went to pick up some vegetables. But I always end up picking more stuff. Since it's close to Christmas, they have so many different cookies and candies from Europe. I picked up stollen, chocolate, and other things. Have you ever tried Stollen?? Aldi's stollen is so good. So moist and yummy!! I think it's better than panettone. Also, a bag of chocolate can use them as ornaments for your tree! Also, I picked some organic strawberries. They were fresh and sweet. The prices are great, and so many varieties of things you can't find at a regular grocery store. !! I love Aldi! read more

I absolutely love Aldi, It's exactly as where I come from and I'm so happy the chain started here in the US. Dear Aldi, KEEP YOUR EMPLOYEES IN CHECK please. I got slapped in the face by an employee, named Widner. Yes that just happened. The chain is just like in Europe (where plastic shopping bags are illegal and you bring your own to every store). At check out I put my bags open in the cart. Widner starts throwing the stuff exactly next to it. I place them inside and he hits me in the face. (By accident?? I don't even know) he then starts telling me bagging is not allowed because "I might get hurt". I'm astonished so I step back and I say "ok no problem but it's the first time this happens". He then calls over the manager to tell him that "I have an issue". I'm totally blown away with the arrogance. I don't have time for this. I ask him when I said I had an issue? I only said this has never happened and then he calls the manager. I don't even say anything and bag my items later. He then kept giving me apologies with a rude tone. I will not take a fake apology either you prick. I will avoid this store if possible but definitely this employee because it's unacceptable what just happened! read more

I love Aldi. Small but you can find there anything you need. They have organic fruits and vegetable for cheaper price than other stores. Everything is cheaper there. Friendly staff, I love that they have Apple Pay so I don't have to worry about taking my wallet with me. I like and I hate idea with the quarter for the card, I see the point but I constantly forget the quarter or I have to leave the card (won't have a quarter next time) because I can't leave my kids in the car while I go to drop that card off. I've been a wal mart grocery shopper for years. My first time today shopping at Aldi was a great experience. I did my due diligence before I came to the store. I brought with me nylon bags I had collecting dust in my closet. Got my quarter out for the shopping cart. Parking was swifter than wal mart lots.. Inside the store, the aisles were nice and wide. Almost everything I bought was cheaper than what I pay at wal mart. I show a few items in the attached pics of price comparison. The best part was the end. The cashier was super fast with the checkout. I have to assume Aldi gives some kind of incentives to the cashiers to speed up the checkout process. This was always the part I dreaded at wal mart. Not just your average market! Where to begin with Aldi? The efficiency is so warming and the folks they hire to embrace this are just a great. I am a fan. This location, situated to and from my work commute, is nice and easy to enter and leave and find parking. Sure it is a small strip mall, but parking, even during the day is not a chore like with other larger chain markets. The big allure for me when to comes to Aldi is surely their bargain priced home brands. I love Greek yogurt and the prices at Aldi are unbeatable. This even goes for he big corporate bargain markets. I also have been getting our family milk at Aldi and this far, we love it. Sure, you will want to bring your own bags, something I always do anyway, and if a shopping cart is your thing than make sure to have a quarter in hand, but these little things do add up to the savings and are easy, and perhaps even a little "fun" to deal with. Lastly, I would say I love the availability considering such a small footprint. There is always plenty of options and even with the fresh produce, once can find what one needs. You have to 25 cents to use a cart. And you get it back when you return it. We found everything we need it. We couldn't be super specific on brands we wanted, but we did find everything we went for. Aldi gets my vote. They offer limited variety of products, but the ones they offer are high quality and great value( better value than Walmart). I like their variety of nuts, fruits and bread. I'm so happy they opened an Aldi near my house, its much better than Walmart because you can get organic, gluten free items for fairly cheap. I usually buy cheese, milk, eggs, flour, and other essential items because its so cheap, and the quality is also fairly good. The only problem I had before was that they did not accept credit, but now they do so I can finally rack up my points. Even though they don't have everything, they have nearly all essential things for cheap and I would recommend, but make sure to remember our quarter to get the shopping cart! read more

Aldi has a great selection of inexpensive wines and cheeses. They are good quality. I like to buy a selection for when I am entertaining guests or just enjoying myself at home. When my wife leaves one evening a week to visit her lover in Chiba City, I will rummage through the kitchen cabinet and look for a simple porcelain platter. I will turn on some jazz and slice some edam or gouda into small wedges, and maybe some brie. I add prosciutto and grapes, which they also sell at Aldi. I enjoy the simplicity of the arrangement on the white platter. Those grapes. Sometimes on a moonless night when Miyuri is in her lover's arms, I will also pour a glass of wine. Aldi sells good wine. It is not complicated wine and no one could call it fine. It simply goes well with the cheese. I found out about Mayuri's secret lover after I once climbed into a well and entered a void.
