Some of the produce has seen better days, but I wasn't there for that... except tomatoes I had to pick through. Needed dinner for tonight, Thursday. Landed on Brats; Original & Cheddar. Got buns too & Tots. Delish Located off of Duluth Hwy is not necessarily a good spot. Easy to pull in, but getting out of the parking lot, not so much. Be kind, patient & safe!! Good prices & off brands are great. This location the staff members actually speak to you & are friendly- unlike the Aldi in Buford, GA. Those associates are simply RUDE! I went on a Friday evening which I don't normally do so it was very crowded. Even though there were 2ppl stocking shelves they weren't very helpful when asked where I could find a couple of items. The lay out has changed since my last visit. I was happy to find the sweet potato casserole that was advertised around Easter but it wasn't at this store and since it was tonight maybe the truck was delayed? Way more screaming children then in use to shopping on Tuesday or Wednesday during the day BUT there were also 2 very sweet toddlers that their mom's were so adorable engaging with them! That was refreshing bc usually the mom is on her phone. I had to tell them that they were doing a great job parenting! I was very happy to see my favorite cashier bc she hasn't been there during my last 2 visits so I'm glad she's still there! Several bare shelves but again I'm attributing that to a busy selling day. But I don't think I'll be shopping on Friday evenings here again. read more

I guess when it comes to chain grocery store they are very similar, Especially when it comes to their standards. I have been going to this location because it is closer to my house. I believe they do a good job keeping everyone safe. They only let a set amount of people in. They wipe down carts and all the staff I saw was wearing a mask. The lines weren't that long either. The employees could use a major attitude adjustment at the Aldi located at 996 Duluth Highway Lawrenceville GA. The cashier with the rainbow colored hair is especially UNFRIENDLY and bordering on rude and condescending. Please Aldi Corporate train all your employees including management to appreciate their customers and realize without the customer there is No Need for them. This is the closest Aldi to me and well i'm not a huge fan of Aldi so this review will be very biased. The handful of times I have been there, I haven't found what I was looking for. The very first time was before Christmas and they didn't have Prime Rib. I asked the stocking person and they had no idea what I was talking about and pointed me to the pot roast I was able to get some cheese I couldn't find at Costco though. Also, that day and the next few times I shopped there which was during a rush, they only had 2 REGISTERS open. A hot mess. So with all that said, I'm still not an Aldi fan and will refrain from returning to this location as much as I can. read more

A couple of things rice you can not find a big package of rice and the small one it's too expensive and dog treats maybe a big size would be nice , please bring TUNA FISH again best product ever ! YOU MIGHT BE IN THE HOOD IF.... The last thing I want to see when I enter a store of any kind is a large security monitor overhead. That is not okay! Why in the world would you want to call negative attention to your surrounding area? It is very uncomfortable for visiting shoppers and should be avoided if at all possible. At the very least, you should use a more discreet monitoring system if there is an on-going problem. This is a typical Aldi but was a bit crowded today and the staff was in the middle of it all, stocking. The produce department was nicely stocked and that was appreciated. I do wish that stocking could be limited to off hours because when they have their products and machinery in the aisles during busy times, it is very inconvenient. Despite the busyness, there were only two cashiers available when three would have been more appropriate. Also, this store was in serious need of housekeeping services so they really need to pay attention to such matters. Eventually we were able to purchase everything we needed and had no problem exiting. Be aware that you cannot enter this Aldi from the main road (120), you have to turn in at the intersection and then you have direct access to the store. ***There will not be a return visit to this location. read more

Back in the early 80's I lived in Germany and so I have been familiar with the concept since then. I am a little scared about trying their brand of foods though. I think it is just something I have to work through. However, I highly recommend stopping by here at the beginning of December. They have the really good German christmas cookies, European chocolate and marzipan for dirt cheap. You pay 5 times as much for the same items at Cost-Plus World Market. Because of that, I gladly give them 5 stars. Be forewarned though, these items sell out sehr schnell. read more

A real gem in grocery shopping! I love to sock up on canned items here. You will mostly see off brands, not that may big names. Stop by and browse as they have some items that just show up from time to time. The pasta sauces are really good and a great value. They also have fancy pastas some times too. I haven't gotten anything there that I didn't think lived up to the label. If you sign up on the web site you can get weekly specials emails. Sometimes they are really good. Aldi itself has come a long way. This particular store recently got a makeover and now it's better than ever! I just started shopping here and I can't say when or if I'll go back to the big grocery chains. I mean, they don't have everything and their stock seems to be limited to what's on the floor for a given amount of time, but for the prices, you can live with it. Fifty bucks can set a family of four up nicely for a while, if you're frugal like this reviewer. Of course most of the products are their particular brand, but I don't see much difference in taste or quality and if it saves me money, I'm all for it. Today I picked up some imported German sausages and I have never seen anything like them in any other store; I can't wait to try them! I also love that they're eco-friendly by not providing bags. Maybe once every other week, I come here to get groceries. I have a budget of about $35-40. For the amount of stuff that I can get here is unheard of compared to say Publix or Kroger. Their prices are very low and way better than the competitors. The layout is very simple and I can always find the items that I'm looking for in a short amount of time. The cashiers that work here are very helpful, friendly, and check out all your items with lightning speed. For $35 here I could get: Two frozen Asian dinner entrées, a bag of apples, bananas, a gallon of orange juice, a gallon of milk, 2-3 cans of soup, 3-4 microwavable dinners, a box of fish filets, 2-3 bottles of Bolthouse Farms juice, a bag of sweet potato chips, a bag of caramel rice cakes, 5-6 things of yogurt, two boxes of cereal, and maybe a pack of gum. See why this is good? I will definitely come back here. What a great supermarket this place is :) read more

I think Aldi has tried to keep up with their competitors but I still think they are falling behind when it comes to automating their process. This particular Aldi I have had problems with them scanning stuff twice and overcharging for things. I do believe its good that you want to keep cost low but if what I'm saving is going into your cashier scanning a product twice then there goes my savings. I do believe you want to keep cost low by keeping one cashier at all times, but just make sure this cashier is doing his job correctly because otherwise customers might just go to Walmart where I can scan my own stuff and not get overcharged. read more

Aldi is a great grocery store that my family loves however this past trip the organic section is very much lacking. All of our organic produce that we bought this grocery run got mushy and gross within a few days. Very disappointed. read more

The whole concept of Aldi is amazing and I wish other places would take a few notes. I can do most of our grocery shopping here and the private labels are as good as or better than name brands. I've dealt with a number of rude shoppers lately, all of which were foreigners, so I try not to go during peak hours anymore. The employees are friendly and very efficient making it easy to get out even when it's busy. Make sure to bring a quarter for a shopping cart, and if you didn't bring your own bags, spend the few dollars on a canvas Aldi bag. They're at least four times larger than other store bags and much cheaper! Cash or debit only, no credit cards! read more

I love that we can get an overflowing cart full of groceries here for $200, including a few junk food items. I've never had a problem with their store brands, and some are better than name brands you'd find elsewhere. Milk is dirt cheap. The produce is just ok. But overall it's definitely worth the trip. We do our primary shopping here and then fill in the holes at Publix or Kroger. read more

The drive way is a bit confusing but once you figure out where it is you are OK. I went here just before Christmas and was disappointed by one of the employees. Not only did she block the entire row with her load of stuff that she was filling the stock from but she was just picking up the boxes and dumping the produce. I guess this is why my produce does not last long and gets so many bad spots on it. She did not even acknowledge that I wanted to get by her. Couldn't go either side of her. I do get a lot for my money though I just have watch what I get. read more

Love this store! Great prices on pantry staple goods and pretty wide selection. Also really cool special seasonal items. Because it is a smaller grocery store, the employees are very friendly and they are very helpful. I am a loyal Aldi shopper for sure! read more
