Aldi has officially jumped the shark. Empty shelves, high prices, long lines. I am frustrated every time I shop there.

Great place to shop. Prices were very good, nice wide aisles, items were easy to find. The store was clean and workers were friendly.

I mean "the bomb" pretzels. The best pretzel I have ever eaten. Crisp on outside, chewy inside, and flavor galore. Truly didn't need cheese or anything to go with the pretzel. If you are in the area you should stop by and shop at the market and order a pretzel.

They have honey, jams, pickles, etc, and some vegetables and misc items. They also have some very pretty flower arrangements at a reasonable price. My family found them years ago at a different location while driving to the Covered Bridge Festival but they've moved from that location and we've found them again :) Some things to note that may be helpful to some is that you could drive up to the front of the store to drop off anyone that is handicapped. There's no steps anywhere, and the aisles are large enough to navigate with a scooter. There's is one private bathroom, it's clean and of a good size. I don't recall seeing a handicap bar but to be honest, I wasn't looking for one. This location is so nice, you need to visit! There's also a few comfortable chairs and tables out on the porch where you can sit and enjoy your treats and the country atmosphere.

I guess this is how they maintain a salad bar that's so fresh and so clean. (No Outkast.) You animals used your grubby, bare hands one too many times to reach for the croutons, and now look what you did. Now we have to talk to someone if we want a salad, and point at what we want like a child. It's all your fault! Actually, it's probably for the best because the salad bar did look delectable and immaculate. So many fresh a clean vegetables! They also have an area with soup and chili, which the staff will also help you with. There are some tables in the salad bar area, so you can sit and eat your food inside the shop. Mostly, though, The Famous Tomato is a specialty food store. Lots of old fashioned candy, hot sauce and barbecue sauce, novelty sodas, so many different flavors of Moon Pies, and random things like salted peanuts in the shell. It's also a little farmers market, so you'll find lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The Famous Tomato feels like a hidden gem, even though it's right there in plain sight in Speedway. For some reason, I would pass by it and I thought it was a Fazoli's? It's most certainly not, though. When you step inside, you'll see that this is a special place, with lots of special and local foods.

The price was incredibly cheap and the salad quality was very respectable. The person taking my order was very nice I would go back for a cheap and easy meal.
