    $30 Cookies from Insomnia-West Lafayette

I've been getting cookies from Insomnia Cookies in West Lafayette for years, but lately the quality has gone downhill. The cookies used to be a decent size, soft, and worth the price. Now they're noticeably smaller, overpriced, and often overcooked to the point of being hard. For what they charge, you'd expect consistency and better quality. Unfortunately, it feels like you're paying more for less... smaller portions and cookies that don't taste fresh anymore. Disappointing, because this used to be a late-night favorite. Spending nearly $30 on these cookies was like paying for VIP tickets and realizing you're still stuck in the nosebleed seats.

Small dessert shop near campus. Not on menu but you can order 1 scoop of ice cream instead of two. Mini cookies only come in chocolate chip. They are the kind you make from a store and get hard as they cool. Tried the snickerdoodle which was the best of all our orders. Confetti cookie with vanilla ice cream. Chocolate ice cream and mintsteller ice cream. We thought all items were overly sweet and tad expensive. Not bad and will get you your sweet tooth fix in a crunch.

A sweet late-night study snack! I usually doordash this, but it seems that doordashing Insomnia always results in some mistakes. Sometimes they forget a cookie, or forget half my order. It can be really frustrating but there aren't many other late-night dessert options in this area. Overall it's a decent spot.

Sixpack, Classic with M&M's, candy cane, Chocolate Chunk Cookie, spicy hot cocoa

I don't think I'm ever going to stop ordering insomnia cookies so please bear with my numerous reviews haha! This time I got their season specials Candy Cane and the Spicy Hot Cocoa along with my usuals - Chocolate chunk and Classic with M&Ms. Hands down the choco chunk wins the best cookie badge always, but I also did really like the new hot cocoa. Not going to lie, candy cane makes me feel like I'm eating toothpaste hehe. But then again, I'm sure some people like that minty flavor! Other things to note, they do curb side pick up and deliver to your car so that's great. The staff was always wearing masks, so ++ for that!

I got a Banana cream soda because I could get a large for 5 bucks which I think is reasonable for a custom house made soda. BUT they fill the whole cup with ice so I only go like 4 gulps out of it. The vibes are different once you see something on the counter where the price is placed so you can see it until you pick it up and go " holy shit that's too much " but besides from the weird trans and feminine men they have, and the overpriced candy there are no black people because it's too expensive and not a good deal.
