You get the dang salted chocolate chip cookie; plus a honey, fig and pecan scone; plus a pecan sable-type cookie, just to round everything out. I couldn't help myself! There are just too many delicious-looking things at this bakery. The delicious things were being made right there behind the counter, so everything was fresh. They also had cupcakes, frosted cookies, rugelach, baklava, sandwich cookies and biscotti. The salted chocolate chip cookie was indeed amazing, but I really loved the pecan sable cookie, which crumbled nicely and melted in my mouth. I love a good sandy cookie. The people behind the counter were friendly and patient while I made my very important choices of what to get. This is an excellent European bakery. I highly recommend it. Everything I purchased has been excellent. I bought Christmas cookie boxes last week for friends. Today I came back to buy cookies for my family. Their Christmas cookies are gorgeous, huge and delicious. I really love the fact they are not really sweet. You can tell the products here are made with high quality ingredients and care to produce a high quality product. Their regular cookies and scones are excellent too. You cannot get baked goods like this at your regular bakery or grocery store. Stop by their little shop in lovely downtown Lafayette Indiana. It's a hidden gem. So was in Lafayette, Indiana for a graduation and decided to explore the food scene. I know it's not in Columbus, but this would be a great weekend getaway. They have so many delicious items it was hard to pick. I got the cranberry orange scone this was so good that I wished I would have gotten two. Such a cute bakery! Upon walking in you see lots of goodies on display. The hardest part is choosing which to get! We ended up getting a frosted sugar cookie and a huge oatmeal cream pie. When I say huge, the cream pie was probably 6" diameter! Both came out to $12 which considering the size of these cookies, is a great price! Not only are the cookies massive but they're exquisite. Both tasted fresh and the frosting was light and fluffy. The service was also excellent! The couple working seemed like the owners and were so nice! We had a wonderful experience at this local bakery today! It is such a bright space full of plants and beautiful treats. We found a table outside on a perfect day to sit and relax for a bit. The cinnamon walnut rugelach is a new favorite treat in town- it's like the best part of a cinnamon roll and the best part of baklava combined... a must try! The honey fig pecan scone was incredible as well- perfect texture and sweetness- such a great combination of flavors! The owner Natasha is so generous and wonderful to talk to. I actually had to start limiting myself by only going biweekly because their berry scones are deliciously light and perfectly balanced (I could eat one every day!) I also enjoy their galettes, especially the summer veggie.
