Aldi is a small store overall but has a great selection of affordable items. I don't shop here too often, it gives me a little bit of anxiety. Since it's a small store (and they have huge carts for some reason) I always feel like I'm in the way. It's a a lot bigger since they expanded last year. They also just added curbside pickup which could be the perfect solution to my issue. I like to browse the aisles since they always have something different and unique. This trip I got a fish-shaped wicker basket, some produce, and a few snacks. read more

Great place to get a little less expensive groceries. I believe this was the inspiration for the "frugal Hoosier "in a sitcom a number of years ago. Bring your own bags. Lots of stuff just in a warehouse sitting in rose. A lot less overhead and therefore lower prices. read more

This Aldi is being renovated so it is a bit of a mess outside. But inside you can find all of your Aldi favorites. The parking lot is large and the employees were friendly. The produce looked good and they were well stocked. We will be back. read more

About a year ago, they remodeled this Aldi. The produce section is a lot larger and more spacious. The other aisles are wider as well and it's easier to move around the store now. In the past it felt like you could only go one way only but it's simpler now. Service is always friendly and helpful. Remember your quarter for your cart and your reusable bags! read more

Aldi really is ahead of the times. Customers return their own carts, eliminating the need for an employee to go get them, and also keeping the Parking lot neat, you bring your own bags, or take the empty boxes from the shelves, reducing waste and less employees to stock or bag your groceries. I love how affordable produce is at Aldi... and the wine... and the cheeses... and the canned goods... after paying for My items today I thought to myself, Why don't I come here more often? While less employees is nice from a financial standpoint, it is also the downside. They only had one cashier to check everyone out. read more

On the "Aldi's spectrum" this one falls on the older-ish end. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. I've found that the new and old offer the same deals---I'm not looking for frills in Aldi's, just deals. I was especially excited to find half a dozen roses for $1.99 at this location. I used to work at a florist and found that these roses are really high-quality given the price. read more

In general, I LOVE Aldi! They are a "cheaper" end grocery store that still sells quality food and even organic, healthy food. However, this particular Aldi needs updated. You can find most grocery items at Aldi. They even sell non-grocery items such as household items, flowers and pet food. The best items to buy for the value are eggs, milk and bread. Everything there is good quality, even the meat (which I know some people are skeptical about). Even though Aldi does not accept manufacturer coupons, you can sometime find a store coupon for $10 off $40. Two things to know if you're a first timer: 1) they do not bag your groceries. You either have to buy your grocery bags from them (a few cents each) or bring your own bags. And either way, you have to bag your own groceries at the countertop beyond the register. 2) You have to pay for/rent your grocery cart. The grocery carts are all strung together outside the store. You put a quarter into the slot on the top of the first grocery cart and it releases the chain that's locking it in. Once you are finished with the grocery cart, you push your cart back into the stack of carts, place the chain from the other cart into your cart and it releases your quarter back to you. (or if someone else is coming to get a cart, I usually just give them my cart in exchange for their quarter...win, win). read more

If you eat organic, (I try) then Aldi is about as inexpensive as your going to find. Although I can't get everything I need there I can usually score 90% of what I need so that's pretty good. Why the low rating? Well first and foremost the store is smaller and cramped, veggie and fruit selection is not as big as other locations and service sucks. Case in point, my "cashier" Jennifer was SLOW as molasses, her eyes were half closed the entire time. At first I thought she was blind so I was willing to shut up until I realized this chick is either on drugs or asleep. I wanted to check stuff myself she was moving so slow, almost every item was a double or triple scan. She also had the personality of a rock. Line backed up quickly and everyone in it was not happy. I'm a pretty easy going guy and it takes a lot to rub me the wrong way, Aldi do yourself a favor and fire this chick she sucks. Will not be back to this location. read more

I haven't been in this store in awhile. The last time I was in there was about 2-3 years ago. It felt small and dirty. I went back in today and wow!! They have made a lot of changes. The aisles are wider and everything just seems cleaner and fresher. Love their selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and their prices can't be beat. Before I remember waiting forever in line, but today I walked right up to the register and was out in a matter of minutes. I will definitely be back read more

I wish I could give zero stars but it won't let me review. My mother gave us $100 gift card otherwise we would've never gone to such a sad establishment. The shopping experience was sub par but the worst part was when we got to the checkout. I had a cart full of stuff and also purchasing two gift cards. She didn't even bother to say hello let alone ask if I wanted the gifts cards on the same transaction. She proceeded to use my Aldi gift card and was surprised when it didn't work. She called the manager, all while there's lines down every isle full of people waiting to checkout but I was the one holding up the ONLY checkout lane. She thought if I paid $100 for the gift cards with my debit card it would fix it. When that transaction was apparently voided by the manager he takes that receipt and throws it in the trash. When I ask for a receipt showing it had been voided so I can look for the money going back on my card she looked me dead in the face and said "I don't know" shrugged her shoulders, scoffed and walks off to walkie the manager. It only gets worse from there. She starts talking to a coworker about the lady before me trying to return something but she wasn't able to help that lady either. By the end of it she's rambling on about previously working at a bank and makes sure she tells me that I can't buy a gift card with a gift card. If she only knew how customer service works, you actually have to talk to people and ask questions instead of being rude and condescending. The point being we won't be returning to this Aldi or any Aldi as the prices are the same as the regular grocery store and the quality is mediocre at best. read more

Out of all of the Aldi's I've been to throughout central Indiana, this has been my least favorite. To start, the carts didn't work very well. The first one I pulled out had a tire that would make the cart steer onto its own. The second cart wasn't any better but I went with it. Inside; it's a smaller store. Which isn't a problem but this felt a little crammed and wasn't as welcoming and bright and new like many of the other locations around the Indy area. There were spilled items scattered throughout the store. The staff weren't very friendly and did their own things. And the selections were much smaller than most other locations. Wow, this was probably the biggest Aldi I've ever set foot in. And as such, had by far the best selection of any Aldi I've ever set foot in. It was refreshing that this Aldi was in a clean, convenient location, as that is not true of all their stores. It was particularly helpful that it was right across the street from Target. Like any Aldi, you put a quarter in to get your cart and get your quarter back when you return your cart. Honestly, a pretty brilliant idea, having worked in retail and having seen what stores spend on paying people to bring carts back in and paying for carts damaged in the lot. Not to mention shopping cart theft. Once inside, they not only had more of everything than other Aldi stores, they also had things I haven't seen at all at Aldi. Their cheese selection was particularly amazing. I can always find enough to build a great cheese board here. As with most of their stores, staff was friendly and efficient and here, I didn't even have to wait in a long line to check out. read more

I frequent this Aldi very often. The staff are typically very friendly, but I wish they would you are the screen as you are checking out. I like to verify the price of my items as I checkout. This Aldi is an older layout than others around town. Also sometimes they are out or low on some of the staple produce items. I still enjoy the price and quality of grocery items. read more

Least favorite aldi I've ever been to. Rude staff members that make you feel like you're inconveniencing them when the line gets long. The store is always very messy and feels dirty to walk through. Very disappointing because it's in a really nice area. The lines are always really long because they can't even use one register because of all the crap on it. I'd rather drive out 20 min to the next closest one instead of driving 5 minutes to this one read more

I absolutely love Aldi! I can buy 3 times the amount of quality, fresh food for 100 dollars then any other grocery store hands down.
