Let's face it. Yelp is really for the most part as a place intended for independent and local…read morebusinesses, but this doesn't mean that we don't occasionally cross that line and review the chains. I don't really fancy the idea of reviewing a Walmart Supercenter preciseley because we all know they're primary benefit is low prices - everything else, with rare exceptions, is pretty much a weakness. I've been to this one more than a few times as a shopper primarily because it has always felt less likely you'd get shot here than at the one on Keystone. I also find the customer service typically a wee bit higher at this Wal-Mart than Keystone. I also now have a Neighborhood Market closer to my home, so lately I've not had to really hit the Supercenters as much. There are a handful of national retailers participating in the vaccine roll-out (at least here in Indiana). After exploring some options, once I qualified I decided to go ahead and sign up at this Wal-Mart because it's fairly close to my home and they were offering an appointment only about a week away. Since I knew it would be the pharmacist giving the injection, what could possibly go wrong? Oy. I arrived about 20 minutes prior to my scheduled and confirmed appointment. I'd pre-registered. There were cars in the parking lot, though it was emptier than usual. I quickly learned that they'd had the power go out and were not allowing anyone in. In fact, they were practically shouting at anyone who tried to come near the door. Obviously, I needed to know how they were handling scheduled vaccine appointments for a vaccine that would spoil if not frozen (since the power was out). Of course, I got met with "I don't know anything about that." Hmm. Well, how about you actually go ask? I mean, this is actually a scheduled appointment nobody had bothered to cancel and, well, certain life or death issues? I'm just saying. Alas, they were too lazy to actually inquire. Nearly 24 hours, I've received no contact from Wal-Mart to actually reschedule and, as such, will likely have to start the process all over again. Once again, Wal-Mart proves their customer service to be a zero. I give an extra star for honestly low prices. Truthfully, I should have known better than to not go to a medical center. Never again. Never again to Wal-Mart.

I would give it zero Stars if it would let me Walmart has literally the worst customer service ever…read moreI purchased lights I have I had a Walmart Plus Membership I was supposed to have free pickup return which then they screwed me out of and refused to pick up the lights I'm handicap disabled and they insisted I had to take it back to the store to return it not to the third seller to the store to return it I had someone take them back and now they tell me I have to get my money back from the third seller not Walmart I bought them from Walmart I returned them to Walmart and now they're telling me I have to get my money back from a third seller again ripping people off I canceled my membership which was on a trial basis and I canceled it 4 days before my trial bases was up and they turned around and charged my charge card anyway $98 for the garage door membership someone should literally take these people to court they need to be held accountable for their actions and how they treat people they just think we're nothing I will never ever shop there and I hope you don't either

I'd long been curious about Penzey's Spices, a national chain with one Indiana location that…read morehappens to be in the Castleton area. Tonight, I had a little time before a nearby film screening and decided I would finally drop in. First off, I instantly loved the vibe of this strip center location that's not too far down from Trader Joe's. This location is pretty solidly accessible with nearby accessible parking, appropriate curb-cuts, and a layout that I had almost no difficulty maneuvering. In case it's not obvious, Penzey's Spices specializes in spices. They also offer online ordering (free shipping with $49+). I have to admit I'm no expert when it comes to spices. I'm also not the most adventurous eater due to a fragile system. However, I've been venturing out of my comfort zone lately and I got lots of ideas from my visit to Penzey's. I have no idea how many spices they carry. It's a lot. I found the prices quite reasonable. I found items that I thought "I want to try that" and I mostly found the prices at such a good point that I would be willing to give it a try. Of course, some are more than others. That's life. Employees were friendly. The overall energy of the place was light and hopeful. They also offer gift boxes, trial bags, and accessories. However, when it comes down to it this is really a spice store and boy do they have amazing options. I believe in terms of corporate that Penzey's is based in Wisconsin. I'm just grateful they're here. They add such a spark to the Castleton area, and they seem perfect as a companion to the nearby Trader Joe's. It took me way too long to get here. It won't take me that long to get back.

Just pepper alone they probably have a dozen different flavor variations. We have over 80 spices in our pantry. Some of our go to are Frozen Pizza, it takes a Jack's frozen pizza to the next level. Others are Sandwich Sprinkle, Tuscan Sunset, Mural of Flavor and California Seasoned Pepper to name a few. If there isn't a location in your town you can always mail order from their website.

I was glad to see great…read morereviews by my fellow Yelpers because I love Japanese food and the little grocery was not on my radar. The store is spotless and well organized. They sell just about everything imaginable for Japanese cooking, including sashimi grade fish. I also saw Japanese beers and liquors. Meals made to order start at 11:00 am. They make sushi, noodle and rice dishes. We picked up several bento style boxes to share. There are a number of cafe tables inside and outside to eat after you purchase your food. We ate inside. There is a convenient microwave to warm-up prepackaged cold foods. The gyoza were filled with pork and bits of cabbage. The gyoza disappeared quickly. Emi ten Tomagoto ji pre (shrimp tempura over rice) was our favorite dish. The rice was cooked with eggs and onion and just delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. I would definitely order this again. The spicy bomb inari was filled with strips of meat and a spicy sauce. The only complain was that the wrapper was soggy from sitting in the deli case. I can't wait to back to try a udon bowl. The food is fresh and delicious. There is plenty of parking in their share lot.

The space was clean and well organized and I enjoyed browsing even after finding my items. The cafe was closed once this day, but I hope to return to order food.
