The thing that really stood out for us was the gluten-free options, which goes well beyond the usual salad and grilled chicken: cauliflower crust pizza, quesadillas on a gluten-free tortilla, risotto, and shrimp and grits, plus the meats, salads, and sides that are gluten-free anyway. You don't see that many real options on one menu very often. If you eat gluten-free, put it on your list; if you don't, the food and wine are reason enough to go.

They also had several reasonably priced drink specials, which was a nice surprise. The service was amazing--friendly, attentive, and a big part of what made the meal so enjoyable. They were hidden, almost like. The same for spinach. But, I found them both along with a couple other items I needed. It was pretty busy in the store. There was a small wait for self checkout. The process was smooth and quick though. I like to use Walmart Pay via Walmart app as it gives and saves an electronic receipt!

Both days, no one answered at store. It just rang and rang until I got a recording to try back later. Today, I finally got through to a person. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told to "hold on" and was put on hold for a long time. Finally, someone picked up but didn't say anything. I heard someone in the background say, "just hang up on her" and the phone disconnected. Magically, when I call back, no one answers. I have no way to cancel my order online. I have not received my refund. The delivery service is crap. The drivers don't even try to deliver the items, and either can't speak English or pretend they can't. And the store doesn't answer their phone or care. Absolutely the worst delivery service and Walmart. I get delivery up here in New Hampshire at least once a week at work. Never have any problems and if I do, Walmart is very quick to fix it. The one in High Point is the worst.

Though this is not my ideal place for getting spices /fresh produce , their meat is always fresh and clean. They custom cut your meats to desired sizes and shapes. So far we got lamb racks , lamb chops , ground lamb , and goat meat for curry and different cuts of chicken. Their goat/ lamb meat is always tender. They always clean the surfaces & equipment before handling your meat. Though the wait times could be longer on certain days you can always pre order on the phone. Also the prices are slightly lower than the other places.

So person in meet department was working without gloves without any concerns meet counter being clean or not. Second person working with him was handling multiple duties. I saw him using the broom and handling customers at the checkout counter. He will then come and help out handling the meet also without gloves.

The layout of the store is very very easy to navigate, the weekly sales are pretty good most of the time, the selection is plentiful in my opinion and the staff is more than accommodating and extremely helpful. The staff is probably one of the best I've ever encountered at a grocery store besides Wegmans in Ocean, NJ. Their beer and wine selection is great! Prices are on point and comparable to Walmart. They also carry malted drinks, hard cider and hard root beer. When my friend came to visit from New Jersey he went over to Harris Teeter to get ingredients to make homemade Asian food, hoping that this particular store had everything that he would need. They indeed did and he was very happy! We made a beautiful meal of homemade wonton soup with shrimp eggrolls and we got everything we needed at this particular Harris Teeter (won ton wrappers are found in the produce section). I will most definitely continue to shop your weekly and sometimes biweekly. A big, clean and wonderful store with extremely helpful & polite employees, tasty samples to munch on while you're shopping (after 11am) and a Starbucks to the left of the entrance. Love this store!
