Great prices on Organic fruits and vegetables. Staff hardworking but helpful. Never know what special items they will have. Sourdough bread and Danish Kringle are nice add ons to basic needs. read more

Now that I work and need to make my money last I go to Aldi for affordable prices and good quality food. I love to try new things here at Aldi. I stock up with frozen shrimp frozen tuna and their most delicious salmon. Somehow I stopped buying tilapia for the price you can not find anywhere else. I loved their toilet paper and wipes. The service I got here today was poor to say the least. I went in to pick up a few things. I go to Aldi because they tend to be smaller and easier to manage with my anxiety. Here I stepped in and immediately felt anxious with so many people crowding the aisles. Got bumped by a few people with carts and didn't get an apology (not the workers fault but definitely adds to the negative atmosphere). I picked up less than 10 items and went back and forth between lines as the first one had the closed lane sign on the belt. I then went to the register closest to the frozen section and was told by that cashier to go to a different line. Went to the original line as she had removed the closed sign. I looked back and saw the cashier who told me to go to a different line helping someone who had walked up after me! It's really disappointing as I used to shop at this location a lot when I lived closer but now I know not to stop here on my way home. read more

My family and I just moved to the St Charles area from Alabama. This Aldi is just 5 minutes from our home and I could not be more excited! It is by far the cleanest, most organized Aldi I've ever been to. You can tell they really care about how they present their store and it shows greatly! I've shopped them all from Jewel and Dominick's to Whole foods, Mariano's, Fresh Market, and Costco. I love Costco, but no desire to buy everything in huge quantities. I've always shunned Aldi, but bought a town home so nearby to the one located closest to their corporate office so there I was this morning and am amazed what I paid for what I got. Let's put it this way, it's all GOOD! I will have to familiarize myself to the off brands little by little. I'm intrigued, but baby steps. I also need to look into the cart arrangement so today I brought in a go green bag otherwise I will go more often to Aldi now. Still LOVE my Costco!!! read more

This store is located near the Aldi US headquarters in Batavia and is always spotless. I have often seen company executives grouped around displays discussing business. The store is always well stocked. The prices are really, really low compared to other chains in the area. Sure, they don't have a wide selection of anything but what they have is always fresh. Milk costs waaay less than Jewel or Dominicks. They don't have many national brands but their house brands (especially Mama Cozzi's pizza) are sometimes actually better - amazing! I'm a huge fan of their pre-sliced cheese - they have so many flavors. They don't have a lot of employees so sometimes there's a little wait to check out, but I don't mind an extra 5-10 minutes to save $20+ dollars every time I shop. I also prefer to use my own canvas bags instead of littering the planet with crummy plastic bags. read more

Friendly people, and an organized store. I spend 75% of our grocery money here. Love that one can go in and out and not need to navigate "miles" of aisles. Aldi's prices and products are excellent. I always get raves from kids on "my" brownies - which are Aldi's. Keep up the good work! read more
