I ordered a $75.00 fruit basket ($10.00 delivery- $85.00 total) as a bereavement gift at 9:30 am on a Tuesday morning to be delivered to the family the next day, Wednesday, the day of the wake. I asked for a card saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with you today". I was told it was not a problem, it would be delivered by 1:00 pm on Wednesday. The delivery location was only a few miles away. I even told the woman on the phone I was a return customer and pleased with my experience the month before. They took my cell phone number "in case there was any problem"... The next day the family never received the basket. I found out at night when I called to express my sympathies and my regrets for being out of town and missing the services and I asked if they received the basket - which was embarrassing as then grieving family members went out in the rain to see if it was left outside! Andrew's was already closed for the day. I called first thing Thursday morning and asked why the basket was never delivered- I was told "we were short a driver and business orders come first so it wasn't delivered". I asked why I was not called (so I could have someone pick it up and deliver it for me or so I could decide if I wanted to cancel the order and send something else). The woman on the phone (Liz?) said she did not know why I did not receive a call. She said they would try to get it to the delivery location that day or the day after. Mind you, that day the family was at the funeral. I asked to speak to the owner and she said he would call me back. A half hour later I received a call back from the same woman (NOT THE OWNER). They said they would not charge me the $10.00 delivery charge and TRY to get it delivered that day (Thursday- a day late). I said this was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to the OWNER or cancel the order. I was put on hold for over five minutes and the owner returned to the phone. I said I felt it was completely their error. They knew the situation - I even had asked for "today" to be written on the card... I asked them to reduce the order price by more than the delivery charge, or I was cancelling the order because I did not want to do business with them. He said there was nothing he could do other than not charge me the $10.00 delivery because the basket was "almost at cost at $75.00" (so basically they make NO money except on delivery?). I told him to cancel the order and I would be ordering elsewhere. One week later (after I had sent something else to the family) I find out the Andrew's fruit basket was delivered also!? I check my VISA bill and find I was charged $85.00 (Full price of $75.00 basket PLUS the $10.00 delivery they were NOT going to charge me) for an order I actually CANCELLED! I am disputing the charge on VISA. I would NEVER do business with this company again. In a side note, when I inquired about the card which was delivered with the basket the recipient told me it just had our names on it with no message.

I have never been to Four Town Farm until recently, but always heard wonderful rave reviews from…read morefamily members who get their corn and other fresh produce for gatherings throughout the year. I am glad I had a chance to visit before Thanksgiving to stock up on some goodies! If you've been to Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, Four Town is kind of similar, although the rustic farmhouse-chic shop does not have a prepared foods counter. However, they more than make up for it with all the amazing vegetables and fruits grown onsite. I was very impressed with the Honeycrisp Apples and Butternut Squash, as well as their wide selection of house made jellies and salad dressings. In addition to Four Town's slate of offerings, they also showcase other local vendors such as Wrights Dairy Farm's milk and cakes and Venda Ravioli's frozen fresh pasta and sauces. Four Town also carries fresh flowers and greenery that is holiday-ready - Christmas Trees and decorative wreaths and evergreen garlands. The team is friendly and offers excellent assistance in recommendations and recipe ideas- everyone we interacted with was delightful. This is a great stop along the way to lunch or dinner in neighboring Warren or Bristol, and a lovely way to spend a weekend afternoon!

They have a nice coy pond outside that the kids I babysit for love to go see every time we come, they even have two goats that you can visit- Dixie and Belle!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We brought my dog, a friendly and gentle golden doodle,…read morewith us and waited in the parking lot to make sure dogs were allowed before entering the apple picking area. Although there were dogs inside, we were told by employees to put our dog back in the car as they stated there was a free roaming farm dog on the premise. There were no signs in the parking lot stating that dogs were not allowed nor was there a sign stating there was a dog free on the premise. As we were a couple feet away from my car to put my dog back inside, a vicious and unleashed German Shepard dog charged at my dog and me and began attacking her. The dog did not respond to the employees calling its name. Thankfully I protected my dog and she was not seriously injured as far as I can tell. I had to shield my dog from the German Shepard that continuously tried to get at her. I am seriously disheartened and upset with how this manner was handled. Small children and their families come to this orchard. This German Shepard should have at the very least been leashed to protect the visitors. I write this review to caution others with small children, friendly dogs, and even services dogs as this is not a safe or welcoming environment.

I'm giving them 3 stars only because the produce is good. The service isn't overly friendly but not…read morerude either. Prices seemed a little overpriced until I compared with others in the area so they're the same. I've bought tomatoes from here as well as a place in Swansea and one in Seekonk and the tomatoes are the best there. However my main problem is with the baked goods. I'm a baker so I rarely buy them but the zucchini bread looked good and in all honesty I didn't feel like making my own. First mistake. Got home with the bread and tried a small slice Monday morning. It was bland. Needed seasonings, cinnamon nutmeg more vanilla. Anything would have helped but it was okay. Second bite tasted weird. Like all I could taste was baking soda or flour. Tossed the rest of the piece. My mother ate some and liked it. So Thursday I decided to try it again. Second mistake. First bite all I could taste was the same baking soda flour taste. So bland. Disappointing. Same as the time before, tried another bite and decided not to eat anymore. Tossed that and the rest of the loaf. Glad that was all I ate cause within 10 minutes I felt deathly sick. Had 2 appointments I had to keep, thankfully they were quick, made a 3rd stop for ginger ale and crackers and 6 hours later I slowly started to feel better. Yes, I'm completely aware that I should bring this up to them in person, but in all honesty the staff that I've dealt with are not really friendly or approachable. My interaction with the staff has been hello and thank you. And also since my mom didn't get sick I've chosen to write this and forget it. If she had gotten sick I would have called the MA board of health. So Almeida's- stick to the fruits and vegetables and maybe rethink the baked goods.
