No no no ... Other alternatives than Aldi. I made the mistake of stopping at a value store nearby before popping into Aldi. Immediate regret set in as soon as I set foot into the store. Do your wallet & yourself a favor & shop here! Everything is neatly stacked, produce looks fresh & lots of choices for snacks too. I'm still amazed at $1.59 milk / gallon. So awesome! read more

If you want to buy quality groceries for the least amount of money, try ALDI. There's more variety of quality products at lower prices than at places like Walmart, Winn Dixie, Publix, etc. Choices are not overwhelming, and neither are the prices! Aisles are very wide, resulting in adequate personal space to shop. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The only downside is there are no free grocery bags. You can purchase paper bags (only a few cents per bag), ALDI plastic bags, and insulated ALDI bags. I understand this, as they want to help keep costs down and pass the savings on to the consumer. This is NOT a bulk food store like Costco, Sam's, or BJ's Wholesale. read more

AL-DIS-options! hehe Don't be afraid to come shop here like I stupidly was for the first year that I lived in Dallas. Now I don't go anywhere else for my basic food items. From the outside, Aldi's definitely doesn't stand out in any way from the other grocery stores and is actually quite a wallflower. Don't let the lack of cars in the parking lot fool you. People just don't know what they're missing out on! I know i've passed by it many times without going inside because it looks so small and non impressive. But what is impressive is that I frequently come out of the store with two huge bags of groceries for less than $20! It's really unbeatable in price. In terms of products, they always have your basics. In particular I go there for their staples of mushrooms, sweet potatoes, bananas, sour cream, thick cut bacon ($3.99?!), eggs, frozen veggies, and sometimes meat. The fresh produce don't keep as well from time to time compared to the bigger grocery stores. I've learned the hard way to be SUPER careful purchasing mushroom there. You really have to stick your eyes deep into the mushroom carton to make sure they aren't growing any mold, as they sometimes do. I've bought already made hamburger patties here over the summer for cookouts, and everyone loves these thick burgers. When you're feeding 12 hungry people burgers, you want something hefty but affordable, and that's what their meat is like. The chicken is equally fresh. I actually like their sour cream BETTER than the brand names, but the cheeses leave something to be desired...neither the shredded cheddar or the mozzarella are very good. I'd probably stay away from buying toiletries here too. The toilet paper is single-ply and the paper towels don't sop up a whole lot. But if you're on a budget, and shopping for basic food itmes, then get your cheap ass down to ALDIs! They only accept debit card and cash! read more

The cashier's have a real people skill problem I really like aldi but this particular store ruined my saving experience...

This place is like an updated Sac and Save. As others have mentioned please bring a quarter for a cart if not the staff is very willing to accomodate. One time I forgot my quarter and was able to use empty boxes to put my groceries in until I checked out. The prices are great and they do have a lot but if it is more of a specialty item you might want to visit your local store. I have not been harrased by any beggars or homeless people read more

I like Aldi - its a great place to get in, get out- I never get wrapped up in not finding what I want - they run out of stuff and I kind of like that since that means their inventory is turning. If you ask for help, they do their best. The staff is always friendly and it is a no frills grocery. I find I like a lot of their products, and the quality of them is good. read more

Aldi is great. They always have great deals and their products are extremely comparable to name brands. This is were you will save the big bucks. Bring your bags and a quarter for the cart. You can buy bags there too. Produce, Dairy, Meats and general items are great!! read more

This is the biggest and best Aldi I have been to. I go to Central Market, Whole Foods, Farmers Market, Jimmy's, etc. But I save lots of money here buying some basics and it is the exact same stuff. Fifty dollars goes a long way in this place. read more

People shouldn't give a side-eye when you say you get your groceries here. This is a great location, clean, always stocked, and they have a huge organic selection. They have their own line of organic packaged food (i.e. snacks, cans, etc), and fresh organic produce. read more

I shop at Aldi regularly. The thing that most encourages me about this store is the fact that one can by healthy, organic juice and foods at very reasonable prices. I bought Nature's Path Organic Pumpkin Flax Granola for, like, two bucks! I could pronounce all of the ingredients and it tastes great!. I have to go back and get some more before its gone. I sometimes wish they carried the same stock regularly, but its a nice surprise when you find something new and interesting or an old favourite. read more

It's great for what it is. The grocery store you go to 1st, then finish up at a major grocer. You can't do all of your shopping there, but you'll save money going there first. It's awesome for all the staples. Milk, bread, eggs etc. It's a smaller store, so it doesn't take you long to get through it. read more

How many places can you walk in with a dollar and walk out with three lemons and change? The store is clean, the prices are generally fantastic, and they have a nice selection of groceries. One thing it took me awhile to figure out is that many of their "store brands" are the same as Whole Foods. They are owned by WF with much better prices. The only downsides are having to rent a cart and having to remember to bring your own bags or buy theirs. This particular location has friendly staff, but every time I've been in, they have been severely lacking checkers-I have only ever seen one checker at a time. If you're willing to wait a little while to get through the line, it's a good place to shop and save. read more

I love how efficient this store is. Their stuff makes my shopping very bright and easy. They have resourceful answers to ALL the questions you can ask about their products, and their smiles are always warm and genuine. Great job Aldi for choosing such smart and positive team members! I like Aldi and some of their deals are great bargains. I cannot bring myself to give it much more than average because I constantly have to wait in line to get checked out. This store chain saves every single penny I can. From having to "check-out" the shopping carts with a quarter, which I think is a great idea bravo, to only having the minimum number of people staffing the store at any one time. The staff is always friendly, if not stretched too thin. However, I wouldn't think that any health-conscious person would consider this a good place for fresh fruits and/or vegetables. I once bought some unripe bananas that stayed that way for a month. No kidding! and the rest of the fruits and vegetables are just would've thrown out and left on display. ** They do have great deals on nuts, cereals, protein bars, Almond milk, cheese, seafood and some lunchmeat - although I have found bones shavings in some of their packaged meat so I won't buy those again. I want to save money while not breaking any teeth. read more

Upon entering the store I was asked by the security guard to leave my backpack at the front. I informed him that it contained expensive items and he assured me that it would be kept safely. I handed it over and did my shopping. When I checked out, the security guard that took my bag was standing by the cash register, 50 feet away from my bag that was left near the exit unattended. The security guard assured me that he was "watching" my bag. Very unappreciated. read more
