They have a big selection of Aguas and fruits as well. It isn't the prettiest place to walk in but you definitely feel a little excitement when you gaze up at that huge menu with pictures galore. I went to this place to try their fruits and offerings for the first time. The service stuff was nice and try to take care of everybody as soon as possible. One of us had the chocolate covered strawberries, But it was very interesting that behind the chocolate there were soggy strawberries that look like they were passed their time. They ran out of ice so Plan B was to make snowcones out of ice from the ice machine. I'm a fan. Tucked away in a strip center off Zang Blvd, this little fruteria is a bit hidden. Do not be dismayed by the exterior! When you walk in, everything is written in espanol - again, do not be afraid! The ladies behind the counter speak some english, and after living in Texas, you should try to learn some common spanish words. The aguas frescas is a fruit drink, blended with some sugar and water to quench your thirst! It is so very refreshing. It comes in two sizes, but the larger size is only 50 cents more and you get ALOT. As such, I always opt for the larger size, it's an amazing value. You can blend different fruits together such as mango/pineapple or get a horchata, a yummy rice milk and cinnamon drink. Either way, this place is super convenient to my apartment and I frequent it once a week. They also see fresh whole fruit and other assorted drinks (e.g. smoothies) - but my 'go to' is always the aguas frescas. Oh, and they also accept credit cards! Absolutely loved this Place. It's clean and quick service We were visiting Dallas and staying at a hotel downtown I tried a 5 fruit plate and let me tell you they fill that sucker up! The fruit is fresh and the chili limón and chamoy is on point. Over the week we tried a Rusa which is very tasty and we tried a sangria which was delicious We will definitely continue to visit on our next visit to Dallas - highly recommend this place ! read more

I love this place with all my chola heart. If you are ever running late to a party and dont have anything to bring stop by this place to pick up some fresh cut fruit. The prices here are very reasonable. And it's not just your usual grapes and watermelon. Sometimes they have fresh pomegranate and coconut! I usually get the big container of fruit which only costs about $6.00 and I always have stuff leftover. Be sure to ask for limes! The fruit is so fresh that if you have any leftovers, the fruit will spoil. They also have aguas frescas which are amazing. Sandia (watermelon) is my favorite. Besides fruit, this place also has a wide selection of produce, a freezer of paletas (ice cream), raspas (snowcones), and even slices of cake you can purchase such as tres leches and a really delicious looking chocolate one. Seriously it weighs like 4 pounds and costs less than the $6 Chola mentioned! I love papaya and mango! They even have 'tuna' when in season (nopales to you gringos!). PLUS if you're looking for THE cheapest produce in town, here it is! Just the other day, Roma tomatos were 50 cents a pound! Man ya gotta buy some at that price!
