    Mango Chamoyada

The chamoyada I ordered was so tasty and fresh. They had so many options and you can see the fruit they use. I bought some fruit too and it was relatively cheap. The people working there were helpful and nice.

    Sandwich and Juice

The sandwich and Happy juice are my favorite. The vampireza juice is also really good. Staff is always friendly and prepares the food with care. I wish their fruits were made with organic fruits but regardless, I still love this place!

This is a great neighborhood spot! I stopped in on a hot day for a mangonada. There were tons of other options- fruit plates, smoothies, and more. I am not fluent in Spanish and was afraid I'd bother the workers by not speaking Spanish, but the girl who took my order was bilingual. Great prices, friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Mango Sticks, Fresas con Crema, Elotes, Churros, Raspados and my all time fave: Mangonadas! My mouth just re-watered :) Don't drive by this diamond in the rough without stopping in. They have a big selection of Aguas and fruits as well. It isn't the prettiest place to walk in but you definitely feel a little excitement when you gaze up at that huge menu with pictures galore. I'll continue rolling in to pick up Horchata, Mangonadas and Cacahuates Japoneses.

    Love this place!

God bless this place. Best fruteria in Dallas and if I dare say in the Dallas area. The fruit is never old and disgusting and the staff is friendly. If you don't speak Spanish don't fret they speak enough English to be delightful. Speaking Spanish helps because they are surprised if you aren't Hispanic looking and they appreciate you and smile a bit more. Prices are good enough and I've never had a complaint and I will come here over and over again to get my Texanita Grande. 5 fruits soaked in cream and granola (.50 extra?). Anyway this place is rarely packed so it's easy to get in and out and they take card and cash. Want a delicious fruit dessert that isn't too heavy then fruteria Cano is the place to be.

I'm a fan. Tucked away in a strip center off Zang Blvd, this little fruteria is a bit hidden. Do not be dismayed by the exterior! When you walk in, everything is written in espanol - again, do not be afraid! The ladies behind the counter speak some english, and after living in Texas, you should try to learn some common spanish words. The aguas frescas is a fruit drink, blended with some sugar and water to quench your thirst! It is so very refreshing. It comes in two sizes, but the larger size is only 50 cents more and you get ALOT. As such, I always opt for the larger size, it's an amazing value. You can blend different fruits together such as mango/pineapple or get a horchata, a yummy rice milk and cinnamon drink. Either way, this place is super convenient to my apartment and I frequent it once a week. They also see fresh whole fruit and other assorted drinks (e.g. smoothies) - but my 'go to' is always the aguas frescas. Oh, and they also accept credit cards! Though i feel a bit silly charging $2.50 for a drink.

The chicken soup is probably the best I've had anywhere, and I go out of my way to get it when I'm sick. They also have a wide variety of freshly squeezed juices and fresh fruit bowls. They offer a pretty big range of menu options from healthy to greasy, and I can't imagine that anyone could ever leave dissatisfied. It's hard to believe La Fiesta Fruits isn't more popular around lunchtime. It's conveniently located in the West End. It's hard to see, but it's in the same building as Chipotle. If you go through the entrance, Chipotle is on the right, and La Fiesta Fruits is on the left. For some reason, the Chipotle is always packed, but there's never a line at La Fiesta, so I guess that's a bonus. This was one of my lunch staples when I worked downtown. It's definitely worth a try if you work in the area, and you'll kick yourself for not trying it sooner.

He made my meal in front of me, and this home cooked style was a good change of pace from Chipotle. I've his quesadillas and tortas, both lightly cooked, but with plenty of favor. I would definitely add this one to the lunch rotation.

My sister came to visit from out of state. I was raving about the Dallas Farmer's Market. How…read moregreat it was, how you could find the best fruits and vegetables from friendly vendors. Thing is, I hadn't been down here for a couple years. Boy was I wrong. There is no more Dallas Farmer's Market. It's gone, given way to high end residential apartments and artisan craft things paired with wine shops that my daughter calls "Parlors of tipsy housewives." Fortunately for me, I happened to catch a glimpse of the Sweet Harvest Shed out of the corner of my eye as I was leaving with great disappointment from the "Farmer's Market." I found the Sweet Harvest Shed. Thank God! We got everything I came for! The fruits, veggies, coffee, nuts, jams, salsas. Everything that used to be in that other place! Skip the farmer's market. Go here instead.

what we thought were 2 yellow watermelons for $18 EACH…read more When we got home (35 min. drive) one of them was red center but we paid of course for yellow center, my mother doesn't drive so we went back a day later with a third of watermelon because family members ate a portion. Mind you, you don't know what color it is until you cut into it which they wanted the whole watermelon returned which we returned a 1/3 at which they stated: then stated they should give us a 1/3 yellow watermelon back. Fine then they should pay for my gas for1 hr. Round trip and MY TIME AND THE DISTRESS to correct WHAT THEY WRONGFULLY SCREWED UP which till this day they never apologized for. I'm truly thinking at this point that they did it on purpose knowing we probably didn't live there and it's just assume we would not bring it back. They were extremely cold, Unapologetic, And hateful 1) We don't do exchanges or refunds or returns straight up, letting us know they were not going to do anything. At this point, we are irate seeing they absolutely DID NOT CARE why we were upset by their mistake. They treated my niece who is a lawyer like trash thinking she was about to steal watermelon from them before we bought. So the treatment was worse when asking them to correct their mistake. There was no apology! It was "Give them people the watermelon and get them out of my shop" Just short of the "n" word and don't come back which we will gladly OBLIGE!!! Racism at its finest. It is not hidden in any manor. They smile when you buy which is why the black guy is there so they don't have to deal with you or they assume you are there to steal. Oh, the claimed my niece Who they thought was a thief, two days before. Went back to speak to them the day before we returned to exchange the watermelon, and claimed that she was rude to them. She's the most tactful unrude person there is. She's a lawyer, and she knows how to speak with you without raising a Voice and without being rude. That is not her demeanor. Why people go out there way to treat those who are not their kind rudely is beyond comprehension. They went out of their way to berate, belittle, and talk down to us like he is God (owner). It was traumatizing. Oh, the Lady, we spoke to would say she was very respectful. She started out with a harsh, We don't do refunds, We're not exchanging. We don't do that, But I'll call my boss. At that point. My mother was irate and cursed at her, as I got rude once we Realized they weren't gonna do anything at that point things got real. As a retailer, they should understand that when you're coming in with a complaint, that's not the first thing you say to them: We're not doing anything. It was bad Customer service all the way around, but I have a feeling had we been Latino we would have been received differently. Hopefully your treatment will be met with kindness if there is in issue. They are great at taking your money happily. Anyway, Isn't taking back food, a code violation of some sort?

I visited today after a friend highly recommended this place as somewhere great to eat and get work…read moredone. I came in planning to order food and a golden turmeric latte and spend some time working. When I walked in, there was a messy looking podium which turned out to be an unmanned hostess stand, but there were no signs or instructions indicating whether I should wait to be seated or order at the counter. I started walking toward the counter when a tall woman quickly stomped her way to block my entrance and demanded to know what I wanted. Then asked if I was dining in or ordering to go. The way she rushed over and her tone made me feel as though I had done something wrong just by walking in. The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and confrontational. I was so taken aback that I just ordered a golden latte to go. I felt embarrassed by how the situation was handled, especially in front of other customers. Any excitement I had about trying their food disappeared after that moment. And I was not allowed past the podium. I was basically by the door while I waited. Unfortunately, the interaction didn't improve from there. The barista handed me my drink while keeping noticeable distance, which added to the uncomfortable feeling as if I wasn't meant to move past the entrance area. As someone new to the neighborhood, the overall experience felt very unwelcoming. I even tried to lighten the situation by mentioning that a friend had recommended the place and that I was new to the area, but I was cut off mid-sentence. The drink itself was also disappointing. Compared to golden lattes I've had elsewhere, this one was very grainy and lacked flavor. It tasted more like hot water with sediment than a well-balanced turmeric drink. Given this experience, I don't plan to return. For a small café that wasn't busy at the time, the presence of a hostess-style setup without a hostess there felt unnecessary, and the customer service did not match the welcoming atmosphere I was hoping for. This is not a high end place and I was wearing a bouse, black pants, and dress shoes. So I'm not sure what that was.
