Very impressed on my first visit. Store is small but very clean and organized. Yes you need a quarter to get a cart but you will get it back upon returning. You can bring your own bag which I did or you can easily purchase bags there. And yes you do have to bag your own stuff. But I appreciate these little details because that helps keep costs down and savings in my pocket! It is a small store so you will not find everything here but you can definitely get the essentials for a very good price. 1 dozen eggs only $0.69! Sliced white bread $0.85! I was shocked to find out that all the stuff I bought was only $30 which could have easily been a lot more elsewhere. This place will definitely be my go-to for the essentials. Yes I'll have to go to either Walmart or Target for other things that Aldi doesn't carry but hey it's so close to the other two I don't really see it as an inconvenience! The price is good and sometimes you can get a good deal. But the quality of the electric devices is bad. Besides, you will get the weekly specials unless you stand by in the store for the whole time. I've been to many supermarkets around, and they do have enough supply of their weekly special no matter you go there in the morning or after work. read more

It's been hit and miss for me. There have been several items that are just not good like their pancake mix, tortilla chips, certain fruits are too ripe. However, they guarantee their items. If you don't like it bring it back for a full refund and they will also replace the items with something similar for FREE!! Customer service is good. Downside is having to bag your own stuff and it's not like Food 4 Less where you can bag it at check out. You have to take your items to the bagging section with your own bags or bags you purchase from them. 10 cents each for paper or 15 cents each for plastic. I will continue to shop here for certain things because of the value but it won't be my go to market. read more

I love Aldi! I get many of my staples here, like milk, eggs, bread, and produce, but don't usually buy meat here, except I do like the chicken sausage they sell. For example, eggs (non-organic) are often priced as low as 78-98 cents/doz. Such good prices, and often there will be something new to discover. Just be sure to check the sell-by dates, as I have found things on the shelf that have expired dates. read more

First and last time to this store. I went to this store on 7/8/18 and purchase a couple of things one of which was the Hawaiian hotdog buns. It is now 7/11/18 and my husband opened up the package to for our bbq and I notice there is mold all along the bottom half of the buns.. unfortunately this was noticed after half of them were eaten by my husband and niece I check the expiration date and it says sell by 7/22/18...WTF!!!! This is disgusting, I decided if they couldn't store something as simple as bread then they probably are not storing other foods correctly. I know I should be supporting our local stores, especially since it's still new but from my experience today, I just can't. The store itself is pretty big and clean inside. They had groceries and household products. They didn't have many of the things I needed to buy. It was very limited. I walked out without buying anything. The location of the store is not strategically placed right, meaning not many people shop in that side of the plaza anyways. I am not a fan of Aldi. Fish sticks were invested with worms and now I'm infected with worms. There customer service is a joke, all they wanted was a UPC code. Didn't even care about the worms in the fish sticks. Went down to the store after my doctors appointment to ask if anyone has called from there office about the invested fish sticks, and they were still selling them. The manager was in aw and couldn't believe it. Since your customer service didn't care, I did get a lawyer and emailed a couple news stations with a full description of lousy your customer service is and all they wanted a UPC code and with pics of worms in the fish sticks, product box, claim number, and the medication from the doctor. read more

I had received an add of a new Aldi store opening in my area so I decided to check it out. the shopping carts that they have are operated and released with quarters which you get back once you return the cart. The store has a lot of brands I've never heard of but the prices are very low, the produce is very inexpensive with a decent selection, they even offer some organic products. The meat they have there is also pretty inexpensive , i wish this store was around when I was a poor college student. I got groceries for the week and it was less than 40 dollars including produce, meat ,and packaged products etc. The overall selection of the store was not very good, but I would come back to shop here because of the prices. They do not provide bags at check out you either have to pay for some or bring you own so be aware. I would give this store a 3.5 if I could . Rude! It is 100 degrees outside and they still insist that you can't use a shopping cart at one of the empty register stands. There were 3-4 carts not being used at checkout stands that weren't open. Instead of being gracious and allowing a shopper to use it, I was recently told that those were for the cashiers. What cashiers? There are only two open? Employees seemed so rushed and no time for a pleasant word or smile. I guess I'm glad I don't have one of these in my neighborhood. We're not missing out in anyway. A little in the dumpy side and certainly not convenient. I'll stick with Trader Joe's, Sprouts and Albertsons. read more

Great place to find fresh food and good deals. Wish the stores were bigger. Like shopping at Aldi.

First, you don't pay 25 cents to use a cart. You get a cart by inserting 25 cents in the slot and unlocking it. The quarter will stay in place in the cart. After you are done using the cart, you place it back to the cart area and once you lock it back in, you get your quarter back. This way they don't have to hire someone to go seeking the shopping carts in the parking lot and they can pass the savings on to you. So really its no big deal. Secondly, I'm going to assume all those who were complaining about having to spend money on shopping bags at this store have figured out by now that this is the law now and the same policy is implemented at any grocery store you go to now. So there goes that. Finally, the store is clean, prices are reasonable and while most of their products are their own label (i.e. Kirkland for Costco) you can find a few you would recognize. I like it, and I hope they open up another one closer to me. read more

When you come, sometimes an exiting customer might be kind enough to let you have their grocery cart (since you have to pay 25 cents for unlocking one for yourself). Interesting new supermarket that opened up in Chino Spectrum next to Old Navy. First thing that caught my eye was the 25cents needed to use their shopping carts and a worker informing us to bring reusable bags cuz plastic bags costs money too. We entered the market and it was very clean and had multiple sections. Most of the items were off brands. There were a few name brands near the front when it came to things like chocolates and some chips. Another thing I noticed was they have abnormally long conveyor belts, which is a good thing I guess since you wouldn't have to hold onto your stuff as long. Overall, its a cool little supermarket, but probably won't come back unless there is a crazy cheap deal for something that has a brand. read more

I've been shopping at this Aldi location since the day it opened and in the past I always had a very pleasant experience. I have referred several family members and friends to start shopping here because I loved the shopping experience and the prices. Unfortunately, within the last 3-4 months I have noticed a big change and I have been disappointed to say the least. First, I have noticed almost all of the employees have been replaced with employees who do not seem happy working there or they just don't care about having this job. They just aren't very pleasant as the employees were in the past. I am no longer greeted when I come in contact with an employee, I am no longer greeted at the register and it is very rare if ever that I receive a thank you or have a nice day or any type of interaction from the cashiers other than my total and my receipt. The female manager looks very angry every time and quite frankly I am intimidated to approach her when I have a question. Every employee looks like they are not happy working there. They do tend to chit chat with each other but not with the customers. I also have been experiencing regular Aldi items that I have never had an issue with purchasing, are now either not in stock for weeks at a time or are in stock but pushed way toward the back of the cold case where they cannot be reached for purchase. The only assistance I can obtain would be to ask the cashier, who has to finish assisting customers at the register first and then will come to help me. But doesn't seem very happy to have to leave the register to do so. I'm not trying to get anyone fired. I am only writing this review hoping that upper management will read what I am experiencing with hopes that they can help get this store back on track and make it the pleasant experience it used to be. Perhaps these new employees don't understand the importance of customer service, customer relations and keeping the shelves full and forward to keep the store in business for years to come. I had a couple family members tell me how great Aldi was so I decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised. I had planned on just getting some cheese because my family had raved about the quality but I ended up getting 3 bags worth of groceries (for $30). Who wants to cook in this heat we are currently experiencing in the IE? So decided Sunday that a visit to an Aldi Store was in order, for purchase of their cans of "Herring in Tomato Sauce", a world of difference from the Mexican sardines in tomato sauce; some cheeses, so much cheaper at Aldi then at regular supermarket stores. Same with their Prosciutto (Italian-style) or Serrano (Spanish-style/a bit sweeter) Deli-style ham. Savings - easily 50% versus regular grocery stores. This was my first visit to the Chino store. My regular Aldi is the one, a bit further away, in Lake Elsinore. For me worth the drive, based on appearance of freshness of the meat Chino vs. Lake Elsinore Aldi, most of all, and friendliness of personnel. read more

This place here is awesome! All the staff here are super friendly and helpful. The prices are amazing. It's not as big as Costco but they have most of the essential stuff you need. Regarding the cart situation your suppose to put your quarter in and then before you leave you will get it back. You can even ask one of the workers and they will lend you a quarter. It's really not that hard and I don't get why it's a big problem to some people. Maybe because they are lazy or just don't pay attention. Felt like i was shopping at the 99 cent store..dont really care for the brands..but hope everyone else enjoys#

This is the worst grocery store ever. This was my second time ever at an Aldi and the first time at this location. I didn't know about the paying for shopping cart thing. That was annoying and I didn't have a quarter. They didn't have the main thing I was there for: distilled water. But I picked up a few other things including milk. I was there on August 9th and the front row of milk expired on August 7th. The second row was August 14th. I had to reach way back to the very last row of the milk jugs to get one with a decent expiration date. When I checked out I laid my reusable bag on the top of my groceries. I paid and didn't pay attention to the checker as she was scanning and moving my groceries into a cart that she didn't want me to take. When I went to grab my groceries and leave they were in a cart NOT in the bag. She just put the bag in the cart and said I can bag my groceries from the cart. I don't know if part of their "thing" is have people bag their own groceries but when a customer provides their own bag, the checker needs to bag them. That is customer service plain and simple. read more
