I shop at this store alot and always find good deals. Today was no exception but the checkout girl went above and beyond for me and I was very impressed. I couldn't find frozen meatballs the last couple of times I've gone always looking in the frozen beef section. I was done checking out and I asked Nicole why they didn't carry them any more. She said we have them let me show you where they are-I have a very sore back & asked if she could get them for me since she was going to walk over and show me where they were (pizza section who knew they were hiding there) she did happily and I was very impressed and my sore back appreciated her kindness. This ALDI is just ok. it's alway picked over & out of a lot of stuff. Hubby & I used to shop here all the time till they opened the location in Ardmore, Ok. Just left this place after shopping here. The cashiers name was Carla on 4/26/2026 at 4:27 pm. The price display was broken and not showing the prices being rung up. I pointed this out to the checker and she stated in a smart snippy tone that "that's why we give you a receipt". I said nothing else to her but I guess at this location you have to pay for your items first before you find out what the actual price you were charged. Aldi is notorious for charging different prices than what is shown, especially their red tag items and clearance. Pathetic that a company this size can't manage minor repairs. I probably won't return. I always have to finish my shopping at another store anyway since Aldi only has the basics. The other concern is that getting help with a price dispute after purchase could take a while since only two employees run the store while the 7-11 store down the road has 8 employees. read more

I wholeheartedly love this store. Today, I learned that I need to stay in my zip code to get the superb customer service like this store offers. I happened to be in Lewisville today and saw an Aldi and thought I would save time and run in there. Well, I will not go through the two issues I had there but I will tell you, they do not treat customers like my store in Carrollton. I am especially sensitive to the treatment of elders. We are living longer and seniors are blessed if they can still get around. But not offering them a cart to get around, is being very short sighted. I encountered a very uncaring Mgr, Jay at a Lewisville store and I was frankly shocked at his lack of concern for seniors. Wow, what a nice Aldi! Let's face it-- Aldi stores are usually located in not-so-nice areas. Not this one. I shop a lot at H-Mart, so I was thrilled to discover that an Aldi is nearby. They have fantastic prices and I enjoy perusing the unique items they offer. Their flavored seltzer water rivals the expensive brands. Unfortunately, they do not sell hash browns (which are really good) but I will definitely return! read more

Gosh, I love Aldi. I don't like going to the grocery store because it can be overwhelming with the choices and prices. Aldi is so great because the selection is minimal (i.e. only one or two jams, one or two peanut butters), but has exactly what I need. I get in and out quickly. Don't forget a quarter for the cart (which you get back when you return it). Nice selection also of breads and produce. read more

Complete crap customer service. Cashier Jela literally scanned and threw my items back in the cart in big pile. Including eggs, bread and other bakery items. When I asked her to please put the fragile items on the top part of cart, she actually asked " what fragile items?". Really? Eggs, bread. Geez. And she kept mumbling stuff under her breath with major attitude. As she sits in her chair and scans. When I took my receipt she said "don't snatch that out of my hand". Umm. What? Been to this ALDI 3 times and I think the important thing is customer service. Prices are the same at all of these stores and they have a lot of great products that make an easy healthy dinner! **Aldi now accepts credit cards! (3-6-16) I love Aldi more and more with each shopping trip. It's my weekly stop, I've been shopping here since they opened and the produce used to be hit or miss in the beginning but it has greatly improved. Every week there is a different low price special, strawberries for $0.99, avocados and mangos for as low as $0.39. The bag of gala apples is a favorite of mine too. They usually have a wine of the week for about $5. I get most of my staples here and I love that it is so close to home. Bring your own quarter, shopping bags, cash or debit card because they don't take credit cards. Also if you shop at peak hours have patience because there is usually a line to check out. They do still take checks (the system was down one day and they were only taking cash or check) thankfully they had a sign on the front door to tell the shoppers before they loaded up their baskets. My favorite grocery store in Carrollton. Easy to get in and out of, prices are great, and great organic selection. You must have a quarter (or cash to get a quarter from the cashier) to use the shopping cart, but you get it back and this is just to hold customers accountable for returning the cart. This is just one way they keep prices down (no "buggy boy" to employee, no plastic bags, etc). This company is also a leader in environmentally friendly practices among current grocery stores and does not support the use of some harmful chemical and use in food production. Yes, you must purchase bags for a minimal cost if you do not bring your own--but we should bringing our own bags anywho to cut down on wasteful plastic use. read more

I was skeptical for a long time about trying out this store. But from first-hand experience I can tell you the prices are really great. I searched everywhere for a buffet type food warmer and the big box stores didn't have them or were out of stock completely. But I was able to find the perfect food warmer with three different trays from Aldi at a great price. The store had a recent face lift and is much easier to navigate user-friendly. You do have to buy a bag or bring your own so keep that in mind. The organic selection of food is very good. We do love their cheeses and often go there instead of another grocery store. We have tried their frozen meat (good) and my husband recently started buying their ground beef too. I usually pick up a pack of their frozen eclairs (or cream puffs) for a party. You just open the lid and let them defrost. I put them on a pretty platter. It's nice to have bite-size snacks. read more

Why I like Aldi? Great prices on wine and they have Belgian and German beer under $6 for a 6 pack. For me, I wasn't impresed by the produce section so I doubt I could do my weekly shopping here since 80% of my cart is produce. Oh, if your looking for meat, I thought it was reasonably priced. My mom came to pick up some groceries and the cashier short-changed her some money. When she asked for her change, the cashier refused. The cashier also refused to give her a receipt. When my mother asked to speak with the manager, the cashier informed her that the manager does not stay in the store in the evening and told, "you won't win if you come back tomorrow morning." So she left. On her way out the door, she overheard the cashier tell another patron in line, "she only gave me $5.00." My mom was very polite and respectful. She didn't raise her voice or make any unreasonable requests so the cashier's remarks, attitude, and lies were certainly unwarranted and disrespectful. I won't post any names or point any fingers at a certain cashier but I would like to warn others about potential theft of money and awful customer service. If you decide to go to this particular Aldi, just count your cash and your change. read more

Low-key grocery shopping for high quality products in a well-lit parking lot. The Aldi model is succeeding, because this place is rarely empty (but also rarely packed, so don't let fear of crowds deter you either.) They now accept credit cards as well as debit, cash, and check. Amazing deals on meat and produce, and name-brands like Coke. A coworker insisted that I give ALDI a try. I've lived near this location for almost 3 years so I decided today would be the day! I entered the store it was more of like a small warehouse. I noticed they didn't have many nationally known store brands but I decided to continue browsing. I'm all about a bargain but I just wasn't that impressed with the selection of items that they carried. I purchased a few items from the produce department, but that was about it. The meat department and frozen foods sections were just blah. The line was long they had one cashier on the register. I just wasn't all that impressed and to tell the truth I didn't see a big difference in their prices compared to other stores I frequently visit. O and the fact I had to have a quarter for my basket was a big deal for me considering I never carry cash, and then had to buy a bag???? Everything is not for everybody!!! read more

Unlike the other couple of Aldi's I've been in, this store is very, very clean. Few national brands but the regional brand's quality is equal to or better than the national brand. The staples, milk, eggs, bacon, ground beef, butter are cheaper than Walmart. read more

i have been curious about aldi since they are related to trader joe's, which i love. but there aren't many in north dallas, sadly. but aldi is fine, the store isn't much to look at it inside, it seems like they are trying to pass all the savings onto the consumer. they don't give you bags, you have to temporarily buy your shopping cart for a quarter, and they don't take credit cards. but the food is soooo cheap! a gallon of mile for 1.79, a loaf of bread for 99 cents. i get the prepackaged turkey breast often, and have tried the frozen pizza, both are fine. read more
