Expired product from 11.30.25 (bottom product)and 12.14.25 (top product) Taken on 12.14.25

Came in to buy items for a charcuterie board on saturday 12.06.25. Didn't realized items was expired and should had been pulled on or before 11.30.25 until i was preparing it on Tuesday. Went in to exchange and was unable to exchange since expired products from 11.30.25 were still on shelves, along with products expiring the same day. Clearly employees do not care about pulling outdated products, or about FIFO.. Id understand if it was same day expired product, but when I bought my items it was expired for almost a week. To come back a week after and to see it still on the shelf. Yes,I should have also checked the dates myself , I will be more diligent when shopping. Please do better Aldi. I love coming in for their prices and product selection.

This Aldi is located in a shopping center close to Knott's. They're almost in the corner, close to Planet Fitness. I will say, the crowd and area here is not as shady as the location on Euclid in Anaheim. I was doing a price comparison between this place and Amazon Fresh and basically Amazon Fresh beat this place by about $0.70 but were around the same price for items I regularly purchase. I will say, the quality is better at Amazon Fresh and the amount you get for the price is less. On the outside of the store there are signs stating they're #1 in price. This location is clean and the time I visited there was hardly a line.and it moved fast.

This is a popular Aldi because it's conveniently located near other shops and Knott's Berry Farm theme park. There is plenty of parking. They always have ads at the entrance, but I wish they didn't print out so many. What a waste because no one reads them or they end up on the parking lot ground as waste anyway. Aldi is different in that they have a self-bagging area. Make sure to bring your own bags and move your shopping cart out to the side after you get the receipt.

    Gnomes! - 10/11/22

Mainly a grocery store. Chocolate from around the world on an end cap, facing the refrigerated section. If we didn't already have a healthy snack stash, I'd have picked out a few. Few other items, not food, in the front middle part. Cute dog stuff- under $10.00. Cute gnomes for $5.00. Long skinny legs. I was considering some clothes but didn't really need anything. Since we were in the area, next door, we visited. One cashier. Several other customers. Clean store. We didn't check every aisle. Next time, I'd like to see more of the store.

Hmm. Interesting store. Unique selection of items. But minus stars because this apple pie was on a shelf on an endcap and it had flies on the inside. I'm sure the pie was tasty, but, this is hardly the way to entice me to purchase food from here.

There's also plenty of space to walk around, with different areas that feel completely different from each other. I also really enjoyed talking with Adrian. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and one small thing really stood out to me: the way he treated the bees. He doesn't kill them, and if one lands somewhere or flips over, he carefully helps it instead. That kind of attitude says a lot about a person and makes the whole place feel even more welcoming. Great place to spend some time and enjoy the atmosphere.

I felt like I was wandering around guessing where I was supposed to go. If they're trying to cut back on the hourly costs there needs to be more signage or a map or something? I came here to go apple picking and just happened to park near one of the areas of trees available for picking. There was a single guy handing out bags, and he was very pleasant and we got a few but when he directed us to the next area he said to follow the white ribbons. There was literally one ribbon tied to a tree and from there we just wandered along a path hoping to see something or someone else. I can't tell you how many other people were stranded and asked us where we got our apple bag. We found a second area where there was a lady in a chair in the shade. We asked her if there was a map or something, and she said that there were maps, but that she didn't have any. There were only 4-5 trees at her station and quite a few bees and fire ants in that area. It made me a bit uncomfortable with littles. The lady directed us down a hill to the cashier station. They had a small gift shop and cafe. I paid $26 for a fresh pie at the cafe but they don't weigh the apples there so I went to the general store and paid another $25 for a bag of apples, which is fine (I guess). I haven't tried the apples yet, but the pie was nothing special. It didn't have a ton of flavor and just tasted like an unseasoned baked apple. I'm not sure what I was looking for, but with such a beautiful setting I just expected more than what I found. At least the parking was free? At least, no one was around to tell me otherwise.

It's inside ABC Supermarket, so it's easy to just stop by when you're already there. They have a lot of tropical fruits, which I really like. Sometimes it does get pretty crowded and a bit messy, but honestly that just makes it feel more lively and busy in a good way. I really like their pre fruit boxes, especially pomelo, jackfruit, and other ready to eat fruits. It is a bit more expensive than buying whole fruit and doing it yourself, but I still think it's worth it for the convenience. Usually it's fresh, sweet, and ready to eat right away. I also come here sometimes to buy flowers for my parents during Tết or memorial days. They have decent choices at reasonable prices, so it's easy to grab everything in one trip.

I shopped at Produce World for probably 5 years and loved it. Produce was so fresh that one time I even brought home a live yellow jacket nestled in my romaine lettuce! They had the most amazing selection of fruits/veggies, some rare to find. The store was always bright and clean. They had a machine near the back where they made fresh juice, OJ was like $7 for a fresh 1/2 gallon and it was delish! They changed hands sometime before pandemic and I stopped in once after then, was not so impressed. They were starting to sell meat and other items. The selection didn't seem as good as it once was. Then full on lock down happened and I never went back. Today I went to Polka Deli across the street to get some pierogies and kielbasa and thought, "let's stop in and see if things are good again." THEY WERE NOT. I really thought I had walked onto the set of some scary horror movie! Was the Michael Myers Halloween theme song actually playing, or was it all in my head?? It was dark and dingy and super sketchy looking. The first row used to be loads of beautiful, healthy mushrooms. All kinds! Varieties I never saw anywhere else! Today it was a bunch of rotting, bruised apples. I made my way to the main aisle and could visibly see wilted lettuce, cabbages, and browning brussels sprouts from 6 feet away. I turned towards the potatoes, as I needed some russets. They were so small, like the size of kiwis. No way was I making baked potatoes with those! I did grab some green onions, they looked really healthy and nice. Gone are all the rare veggies and fruits they used to have. Now it's just a swap meet of citrus fruits that are going bad. I did want some cucumbers for juicing, 2 for $1. They were HUGE. I was happy. But then I looked closer and most of them were super soft and squishy and had massive dimples in them. I found 2 that looked OK and I headed to the register. This place used to have like 4 low rows of random pantry items. They have now added a bunch more rows so it's a cluster-F of high, tight, shelves filled with who knows what. I didn't explore. I wanted to get out before the serial killer that must be lurking in there got me! While I was standing in line, I saw the "Fresh OJ" station (the machine is gone) has been moved to the back left wall. The wall is dirty and gross looking. They have a sign for fresh OJ for $15.99!! No thank you! They now charge $0.50 for any card transaction (debit included) less than $10, so I paid it and went on with my day. Happy to get out unscathed. How this place is still in business is beyond me!!
