This is a popular Aldi because it's conveniently located near other shops and Knott's Berry Farm theme park. There is plenty of parking. They always have ads at the entrance, but I wish they didn't print out so many. What a waste because no one reads them or they end up on the parking lot ground as waste anyway. Aldi is different in that they have a self-bagging area. Make sure to bring your own bags and move your shopping cart out to the side after you get the receipt.

Gnomes! - 10/11/22

Mainly a grocery store. Chocolate from around the world on an end cap, facing the refrigerated section. If we didn't already have a healthy snack stash, I'd have picked out a few. Few other items, not food, in the front middle part. Cute dog stuff- under $10.00. Cute gnomes for $5.00. Long skinny legs. I was considering some clothes but didn't really need anything. Since we were in the area, next door, we visited. One cashier. Several other customers. Clean store. We didn't check every aisle. Next time, I'd like to see more of the store.

Hmm. Interesting store. Unique selection of items. But minus stars because this apple pie was on a shelf on an endcap and it had flies on the inside. I'm sure the pie was tasty, but, this is hardly the way to entice me to purchase food from here.

Needs a good scrubbing

I do mostly all my grocery shopping at Aldi and I love it. Unfortunately I need to complain about bathroom condition on La Palma in Buena Park. Sinks are so dirty needs a good scrub with Ajax powder. Spraying with bleach spray will not do it.

Coupon not honored.

Price is low. Place is so clean and arranged properly. Staff are very kind. And tons of parking space.

I love Aldi, small store and their fruit is always fresh. Good selection of staples and the price is great.

The BBQ is delicious and definitely worth it, even though the lines can get long on busy days. the apple cider is honestly the best I've had anywhere so fresh and flavorful. & ohhhh the house made pies are a must at every visit! They always have something going on throughout the month. Gospel worship's, festivals, classes Sip & paint, production tours and much more. The live music adds such a fun, relaxed vibe while enjoying a meal. I never leave without making a visit to the shop where they sell, unique items, souvenirs, organic jams and honey! Riley's is a place I look forward to coming back to especially in the fall. If I lived closer I'd be here much more often! Definitely check this place out, especially if you have family with kids, ours loves the little seedling ranch!

The staff informed us that depending on what apples we want to pick, we would need to head to different parts of the farm and the price would vary. We went towards the pink ladies because I'm a huge fan. We got 2 bags and began slowly twisting the apples off the trees. Our son had a great time that he quickly filled up 2 bags and we ended up spending about $30 on all the apples. We saw they still had some pumpkins, a field for chestnuts, and fields for other types of apples. We may be back to pick other fruits when they are in season. We decided to take a break and there were a couple of stalls to purchase merchandise, snacks, and food. We tried some fresh kettle corn which was hot and popped to perfection. There was so much to see and do at the farm, such as corn maze, petting zoo, and being able to pick a bucket of apples to press your own cider! We lined up at the farm kitchen for lunch for some bbq. While waiting for 45 minutes, I could see them grilling the meats and it looked delicious. I ordered tri-tip sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, some ribs, apple slaw, and some cowboy beans. They gave us the bbq sauce on the side to put as much as we want on the meats. The meats were salty, which was disappointing, and the tri-tip was slightly tough. The ribs weren't fall of the bones, but perhaps I was expecting too much. After putting the bbq sauce on the meats, it did balance out the saltiness. The cowboy beans were ok and the apple slaw was my favorite. It had a good balance of sweet from the apples they grow and the vinegar taste that was mixed in with the other ingredients. Before we left the farm, I had to buy a small bottle of cold apple cider and a sugar free apple pie. The apple cider was definitely refreshing on a hot day and it wasn't too sweet! We arrived shortly after the farm opened up on a Saturday and was able to find a spot in the parking lot that was almost full. I read that the parking lots open up about an hour before the farm is open, so my advice is to get there early. Otherwise, you'll probably get directed to another parking lot and require some walking. The farm was clean and all the staff we interacted with were friendly.

I was amazed by the variety, from vibrant Surinam cherries & Jabuticaba (a native Brazilian grape) to familiar favorites like green mangoes and cherimoyas. If you're looking to explore new flavors or find some beautiful flowers, this is a must-visit spot in the heart of Little Saigon. They have a lot of tropical fruits, which I really like. Sometimes it does get pretty crowded and a bit messy, but honestly that just makes it feel more lively and busy in a good way. I really like their pre fruit boxes, especially pomelo, jackfruit, and other ready to eat fruits. It is a bit more expensive than buying whole fruit and doing it yourself, but I still think it's worth it for the convenience. Usually it's fresh, sweet, and ready to eat right away. I also come here sometimes to buy flowers for my parents during Tết or memorial days. They have decent choices at reasonable prices, so it's easy to grab everything in one trip.
