My favorite part of mom's is the fruits and veggies--you can absolutely taste the difference. Red bell peppers are sweeter, scallions are thicker, greens are more plump. Although I don't often buy meat from moms--except for my annual Thanksgiving turkey--but the local meats and sausage are top quality. The Mom's brand items are also strong options--the coffee is cheap and from a local roaster and the milk (is not cheap but) is very tasty. I love that they have free coffee daily; I always grab a half cup when shopping on a weekend. Although not organic, the beer selection is super, well curated, not overwhelming options, with a range of styles. Investing in food is investing in one's health, the community, and earth and I don't mind paying a bit more for all of that, and the flavor boost. Go to your MOM's!

They don't seem to carry everything I normally get at the Arlington or other locations in the DMV, but they don't seem to have a decent array of items. The employees are really nice and willing to help. I had only been offered help once in the wellness area when the lady was trying to see if I needed anything since I was searching for my precious frozen dog food that they don't carry unfortunately. All in all this is a great market that carries local brands and caters to dietary needs!! I will definitely be back.

The place is in quick walking distance to several hotels. The hot bar is fresh and the lines aren't too long. As far as prices, it is on the high end. I would only go here if you want something slightly cheaper than the surrounding food options.

It is a lovely store; the atmosphere is quite unique. I go to the store because the one in Vienna closed. On Thursdays they now have a seven dollar meal. I'm sure all the food is pre-prepared, but maybe they have to mix it at the store. The Vienna store food was much better. This store has been disappointing. I'm not sure I will continue going even for the special on Thursdays. They have a brownie cookie that is absolutely fabulous! Zap it four or 5 to 7 seconds in the microwave before you eat it and you will love it. The raspberry filled cookies are very sweet. If you are a coffee drinker I'm told they go well with coffee. I recently had a very disappointing experience at this location involving both product availability…read moreand customer service. The store has been out of the Simply Nature coconut water case for quite a while, yet the $6.99 case price tag is still displayed. Since the boxed cases are unavailable, customers must purchase the individual bottles at $1.50 each. I asked if buying six individual bottles could be honored at the case price, which is a reasonable accommodation many stores make when only the packaging is missing. Instead of receiving a respectful explanation, the manager, Jazz, spoke to me in a raised tone, repeated the same incorrect information, and became visibly irritated when I asked for clarification. When I ultimately asked to remove the items from my purchase, he rolled his eyes and responded with frustration. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. After this incident, customer service reached out to me and assured me they would look into the matter. They made a point to calm the situation and promised follow‑up. However, every time I've reached out for an update, I've received no response. The lack of communication only adds to the disappointment. I understand supply issues happen, but the way this situation was handled--both in‑store and afterward--has caused me to lose confidence in the customer service at this location. I strongly recommend improved training for management and better follow‑through from customer service. Customers deserve clear communication and respectful treatment, even when the answer is "no."
