I just tried Alda's for the first time and what a lovely experience. Service was quick and very friendly. I ordered the avocado toast and my guest ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy. Both were delicious!

Some good friends brought me here for a late breakfast, it is one of their favorite spots. Well, it is now one of my favorite spots. The owners are on site and working vary hard alongside the other staff. So the service was exceptional from start to finish. They really make you feel like family here. The food was home cooking goodness at its best. I love a good country breakfast and this did not disappoint. The serving size was generous, in fact I had to take part of mine home. You need to try this place if you love locally owned family restaurants.

Excellent food! We decided to stop at this great little diner on our way back from a swamp your. I had the avocado toast which was piled high with eggs, avocados and a few other goodies. I highly recommend it!

So interior is very nice. Outside patio had cigarette butts scattered around. Not a big deal but makes you wonder.Perfect day for being outside. They played soft music. The server was very rushed for a breakfast time that didnt have a bunch of diners yet. She Was really put off when my wife asked for a new cup of coffee because it tasted burnt. This will be our third breakfast place. We were drawn to it because it was close-to St Agnes Church and said everything was made from scratch. Not sure corned beef hash from a can is made from scratch. The corned beef was cooked on the griddle and had a perfect crust. The skillet overall was fine. The addition of sausage gravy may have been unnecessary but it was tasty. Lots of perfectly cooked potatoes in the skillet. Eggs on top were extremely well cooked. Always sad that a large egg is so small now. Would probably ask for a third egg in the future. Lots of potatoes. The ratio of potatoes to corned beef was way to many potatoes. My wife had the Desantis omelet. That was good. Asked for hot sauce and server said she had some with her omelet. The meal came with salsa. The english muffins were hockey pucks. The coffee was some of the worse coffee I have had since I stopped going to Dunkin because the coffee was always burnt. My wife smelled her second cup and left it. Im a coffee drinker. Ive backpacked coffee to the bottom of the grand canyon and to the top of a mountain in Colorado. I couldnt finish this. Sorry Alda we wont be back. Overall everything was fine. We will keep looking.

Decided to come here with my family on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Beat decision ever! Upon walking in, we were greeted immediately by a super friendly woman. The diner is much bigger than it looks on the outside. Plus there is tons of seating and full on bar. Once seated we noticed there was a mimosa menu on the table... yes, they offer different kinds of mimosas! I highly suggest ordering the Farmers omelet or Avocado Toast. The food here is beyond flavorful and the portions are huge (I was full for hours)!

Great food and great service every time we come! Tonight we ordered the Cheeseburger with onion rings and sweet potato fries and everything was delicious. Always have great drinks too! We love this place! Warm inviting feeling when we arrive. They are dependable! Food is always great.

Hugeeeee portions. Texas style rye roast. Could only finish half, hubby almost his entire meal. Pineapple slices were white, yuk. Strong coffee. Side of avocado was sliced fresh and delicious. Nice atmosphere inside. Wonderful waitress. Hubby says we will be back. They have an extensive menu and outdoor seating. Close proximity to our condo. Try it, you may love it.

Hidden gem of a diner! Our Hostess Viri made us feel right at home for being first time guests. Enjoyed the best avocado toast We've had in Naples this far! Fresh & delicious local spot, we'll be sure to return soon! Thank you!

Alda's diner never disappoints! The food is always amazing and the staff treats everyone like family. This diner has become my family's go to place for breakfast and lunch. We love the staff, adore the owners and have amazing food every time we go.

Google knew it though and the diner showed up when I asked for 'restaurants near me'. This diner is right off Tamiami Trail, a place where many good restaurants are located. Since we got there early, dining was set up for outside, but the great spring weather makes eating outdoors a fun experience. After entering the restaurant, we ordered our food and sat down. There wasn't a long wait for lunch, we got fed quickly and everything was good. The menu is the same as the restaurant at Founders Square, with salads, bowls, a good variety of handhelds, kids options and lots of sides. They even have rotisserie chicken, prime rib and miso salmon, for when you want a little extra. The Parque Del Lago taco salad and California panini looked interesting, but hubs went with the grilled Mahi sandwich and I decided on the classic burger. We both got an order of those addictive sweet potato fries! Service is friendly, the restaurant is clean and welcoming and we'll definitely be back for another lunch in the future.

Friendly. Didn't go over the top but then again it seemed like maybe there was a rush and only two servers were on? Didn't matter much because we got what we wanted and needed. POV: You're finishing your coffee at your favorite breakfast spot and a stranger steals your coffee…read more Okay so. We have been going to The Rooster in Naples for YEARS. Years. Long before it was on food network. The food? Immaculate. Never once had an issue. Today? Today changed everything. Our waitress was an angel, no notes, we love her. We're sitting there, happy, sipping our coffee, not even an hour into the meal, barely finished eating, when suddenly a completely different server materializes out of nowhere and just... puts her hands. On the WHOLE top, every inch of the top half of our coffee cups. Mid sip energy. And starts trying to take it. This was our FIRST ever interaction with this woman. First words exchanged. We say, simply: "we are just going to finish our coffees." She hears us. Denies it. And grabs the cups anyway. I look up like excuse me?? And she looks at me, dead in the eye, and goes: "Well aren't you done?" MA'AM. NO. We were NOT done. We hadn't even finished writing the tip on the receipt which, by the way, she then just SNATCHES off the table. Gone. Like a magic trick nobody asked for, and I certainly didn't order. I say, still not finished. And this is where it gets unhinged, because she goes: "well there's a wait." A wait?? For WHAT. There were FOUR tables open inside. EIGHT tables open outside. Not a single soul waiting for a seat. She said it like she was reading off a script from a restaurant that was actually busy, which plot twist it was not. Then, and I need you to picture this, she starts REACHING ACROSS ME. Full arm extension. Into my personal space. Grabbing plates. Grabbing cutlery. I am frozen. I do not know this woman. She does not know me. And yet here we are, inches apart, over a fork. Questioning if I should ask for her last health test results because we are sharing breaths like a horror movie. My companion, sensing the unhingedness of the woman gets up to go find our ACTUAL waitress, the good one, because at this point all we want in this world is to finish our coffee, leave our 30% tip (we were being SO generous, we do not play like that), and say thank you like normal diners. But does the story end there? IT DOES NOT. Because as my companion is trying to talk to our sweet waitress, coffee cup snatcher strikes again and BUTTS IN. Not once. Multiple times. Interrupting my companion mid-sentence, over and over, like she just could not let the woman finish a single thought. Louder. Meaner. Full attitude, unprompted, uninvited, unwell, unhinged. Our actual waitress, bless her, is apologizing over and over, offers us brand new coffees, offers to reseat us like nothing happened. And she was so genuinely kind about it that we almost said yes. Almost. But we were both so shaken by that point that we just... left. And the WILDEST part? This woman was TRAINING someone. Actively. In real time. Passing the torch. Teaching the next generation how to traumatize brunch customers over a coffee cup. We love The Rooster. But that experience? Left a mark. I'll send you my therapy bill Roosters.
