There doesn't seem to be any control over whether the hair stylists attend to their clients after…read morethe clients arrive. I have been consistent with making and keeping my hair appts. with my stylist. I have learned not to arrive early but exactly on time because my hairstylist is not going to be ready whether it is because she is late arriving or the clients are late. I don't mind waiting 20 minutes past my appt. time but longer than that is inexcusable. Why would a hair stylist schedule to do a baylolage at the same time as a client who just wants to have a trim and blow out? Three times this happened to me with the last being on Saturday. After waiting 20 mins., another staff person washed my hair, which is pretty typical as the staff works together although, I don't usually have to wait 20 mins. as the staff tries to keep everyone on schedule. My stylist was reminded several times that I was waiting. 35 mins. after my scheduled appt. time, my stylist was still working on the baylolage client. I have never been disrespectful to my hairdresser and I always tip between 20 - 25 %. I know that more money is made by a hairdresser with hair dying, baylolage, etc. but at least the stylist could have the decency to schedule a baylolage at a different time. The stylist never has to spend more than 30 - 35 mins. on my hair so at 35 mins. after I arrived, I blew my own hair dry and walked out as I had to be somewhere else on my schedule. I have been going to this stylist for more than 1 1/2 years. Why treat a client this? I won't be returning, too much inconsistency.

My hair was shampooed and my stylist Azariah discussed what I wanted, went over the hair journey ahead of me. She was very patient with my questions and extremely personable. This is without a doubt the most satisfied I have ever been with a haircut, and I have nothing but…read morethe highest praise for Alex and his entire staff! I came in last week for a medium-length men's cut after finding this salon on yelp and seeing all the raving 5 star reviews. As a guy, I typically wouldn't have gone looking for a luxury haircut experience, but like many of my peers I have been working from home during Covid and used the time away from the office as an excuse to try something new with my hair and grow it out for the first time since I was in college. Now that my hair was long enough to experiment with some new styles, I was eager to get an appointment booked with someone as skilled as Alex to help me find a look that would work for me. As soon as I arrived, it was clear that Alex takes his craft seriously and he's done an incredible job designing an inviting and luxurious salon. I came prepared to my appointment with a few inspiration pictures to help demonstrate the kind of look I was hoping for. After reviewing the pictures with Alex, he talked me through his ideas for my hair and how we could actually go with a more modern, modified version of the type of cut I was looking for. Knowing how skilled of a stylist he is, I was happy to take his recommendations and let him work his magic. By the end of the haircut, I was blown away - this was hands down the most satisfied I've ever left a salon or barber! My whole life I've been so used to having to wait a few days or a week after a haircut before I started to like the way it looked, but not this time! For the first time in my life, I left a haircut appointment immediately feeling satisfied and confident in my look thanks to Alex's talent. Aside from receiving an awesome haircut, I also had a fantastic experience just chatting with Alex throughout the process. His story is fascinating and his respect for his art is inspiring. Alex is highly regarded in the hair styling community and it's a community that he constantly gives back to through the training and workshops he provides to his staff and fellow stylists. He's someone who understands the importance of staying on top of all the latest trends, technologies, and techniques. The world of hair styling is constantly changing, and you either adapt or get left behind - and Alex is clearly not someone who's going to get left behind. I can't recommend this salon, and specifically Alex, enough. I will certainly be coming back next time I'm due for a trim and in the meantime I'll be singing Alex's praises to anyone that will listen. Thank you so much to Alex and his staff for the best haircut and salon experience I've ever had

The space buzzes with movement and conversation, yet somehow still feels calm, personal, and completely welcoming. Whether you're a longtime regular or visiting for the first time, you're met with warmth, kindness, and the immediate sense that you're in very capable hands. What makes Level 7 more than just a salon is the people. Every stylist, assistant, and front-desk team member contributes to an environment rooted in respect, artistry, and shared support. There's no ego here--only collaboration, mutual encouragement, and a collective passion for helping clients feel their absolute best. John Devlin I've worked with John Devlin continuously since 1992, and it's rare to find a stylist whose work only improves with time. Over the decades, John has been a constant, trusted expert in my grooming, haircuts, and color--adapting not only to changing styles, but to changes in hair texture, lifestyle, and priorities as life evolves. What sets John apart is his precision and judgment. He doesn't chase trends or over-style. Every cut is intentional, balanced, and tailored. He favors scissor work, which means shape and proportion are carefully considered rather than forced. His color work is equally thoughtful--dimensional, flattering, and never overdone. John listens closely and consults honestly. Whether I come in with a clear vision or just an idea, he refines it, elevates it, and turns it into something that feels authentic to me. Over the years, he's guided me through every phase imaginable--super-short cuts, growing-it-out periods, subtle highlights, and even a full head of silver. At times, he's also gently steered me away from styles that wouldn't truly serve me, and that discernment is a big part of why I trust him completely. John's decades of experience show in his calm confidence and consistency. There's no rush and no ego--just craftsmanship, care, and results you can live with every day. If you're looking for a stylist with longevity, discernment, and genuine expertise--especially for clients like myself who value thoughtful, well-executed grooming--John Devlin is exceptional.
