In the later stages when pain set in my artist provided a lovely topical essential oil spray that helped immensely with pain so that I could hang in there just fine. The whole vibe of the place just immediately puts you at ease, which is so important for a tattoo experience. I have a lot of tattoos and the energy of a shop is extremely important to me. They have various stations set up with candies, electrolyte waters, snacks, and anything else you would need. Ive never been to shop that offers all of this stuff complimentarily. It was like visiting a spa while hanging out with a group of friends. So: Come for the brilliant artistry and skill of the artists, stay for the experience. I've had extensions on eyelashes on and off for about the last 5 years and wish I've came across Vidia sooner. Her technique and skills are definitely incomparable versus other lash artists who put too much glue and/or too close to the root. Plus, she's very informative; she's given me a recommendation for a lash serum to help my lashes grow stronger on my first visit! And she also gives a lash cleaning kit along with her lash services, which I feel is uncommon yet refreshing because it implies she truly cares about the longevity of your lashes. In addition, her eyelash extensions feel so lightweight (you won't look sleepy!) that I often forget I have them done. It's unreal. Before Mint Cloud, I used to dread getting refills on my eyelashes but she makes the experience enjoyable. lol, I even feel asleep once due to how relaxed I was during one of my refill appointments, which NEVER happens for me. I've had lash extensions for years, so I have a good baseline for what proper application should feel like. From my very first set, my extensions felt heavy and uncomfortable, and several came off within days. She offered a touch-up, which I appreciated, but the second set and the fills that followed had the same problems. The main issue: extensions kept falling off with two of my natural lashes attached at the base, meaning my natural lashes were getting glued together (stickies). This points to what I understand to be an isolation problem, which can damage natural lashes over time, and it happened on both the original set and the fills. Placement was also inconsistent as some extensions looked glued partway up the lash shaft rather than close to the base, which made them feel unstable and look gappy as they grew out. The service also felt rushed overall, which may explain some of the inconsistency in placement. When I raised these concerns, the conversation didn't feel productive, so I decided to find a different artist. One more thing worth flagging: at my appointments, there wasn't a full lash bath with lash shampoo and water before new sets or fills. My previous SF tech did this every time, and my new current Colorado tech does too. After the switch, I think this step was part of what was going wrong. If you have sensitive lashes especially, I'd look elsewhere.

They have essential oil candles burning and defusers running and it was so pleasant and welcoming! The lobby is very clean and organized. With COVID the staff collected my name, number and temperature and then had me fill out the once a year new client paperwork. It was about 5 electronic pages and completed quickly. My appointment started and Jessica was very informative about what I would be experiencing. I felt comfortable and heard. My lovely boyfriend arranged for me to have the Hydrofacial (medical facial) with dermaplaning, UV light treatment and an Immune Boost IV!!! This is the tip-top package of the facial experience. My man is a keeper, that's for sure! During the process Jessica took the time to explain what she would be doing next and each step was so satisfying!
