I've been into this shop several times, worked with a few artists and have had a wonderful experience. Andy is my go-to guy when it comes to traditional work. I recently had him re-work an old dragon on my arm and it came out beautifully! Highly recommend not only Andy, but this shop overall. Great work Main Street Tattoo! read more

My 4th tattoo with Myles and couldn't be happier with the design and care he puts into his art. I got a color red tailed hawk on my forearm that we worked together to create the best design for me. He listens to my thoughts and cares about what he's putting on my body. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Colorado/Wyoming area! Myles and Main Street are amazing! read more

Came in with my friend to get piercings; I got a daith piercing and my friend got a forward helix. Luckily Julie could see us right away. Julie was awesome! She explained the process very well and made us both feel relaxed the entire time. She also explained the aftercare thoroughly and reassured us for any issues to let her know, either from stopping by in person or messaging her. read more

Julie is an amazing piercer! She did both my nose and my daughters ears. Definitely recommend

We came in for my wifes scar cover up tatto consultation. Mike was super helpfull and we spent a long time just discussing possibilities and any concerns that we had. Mike was very upfront about benefits and risks, and preseneted a number of possibilites. My wife had the tattoo done there a month later, and is loving the work. The scar is basically invisible, and the tattoo very tastefull. Definitely recommend!!! read more

This shop by far beat out its largest competitors in the area. The experience I had from the moment I walked in the door is something I did not get from the other shops I visited that day. I shop for a tattoo like I would anything that is important to me as it is permanent. The first shop I went in to barely spoke to me 10 Min about my two large tattoo investments. That shop is a very well known and reputable company. Another shop just flat out didn't show interest in my tattoo work I wanted. I was met by I believe Jamie at the front. She was courteous and approached me quickly with zero wait. She then referred me to the artist Sancho. Not only did he sit down with me and go over possible designs he didn't do it 10 Min or less. He actually cared about what I wanted and was happy to take the job. We sat for nearly an hour putting together our collaboration. It turned out amazing!!! I will be back and I will refer anyone that asks me where to go to get a tattoo. The shop was clean and organized and very inviting all while not being too big of a place that you get lost or become a number. The location is very convenient with lots of parking. The hours are great. They have multiple artists there and a piercer too. read more

I have always love Main Street! They are so sweet, the shop has that cheers vibe where everyone is friends even if they don't know you. Plenty of room for comfort and lots of art work all over. I got my nose done by Julie and she is a rockstar. This is the second day and it isn't Inflamed or red. Just nice n cleeeaaannn. Looove love. read more

In September, I was looking for a place to get my 6-year-old daughter's ears pierced in a quick turnaround time. I tried a few other places in Longmont, and they were either closed, had waivers I needed to complete, or bring in birth certificates (other tattoo artists) or didn't have availability, or just didn't feel right. When I spoke with Julie on the phone, she was friendly and professional, and when we went to Main Street Tattoo it was a wonderful friendly, laidback environment that put me and my daughter at ease. Julie was wonderful with my daughter, and, to boot, free of charge, she checked and opened up my own earholes that I thought had been closed for years! Thanks, Julie! The resident doggy is super cute too. Highly recommend. read more

I was in town for 4 nights and wanted a tattoo, so I checked reviews and picked this shop. Being close to the time I was to arrive, I figured there probably wouldn't be any openings but Christoph offered to come in early to do my tattoo. The shop was chill and easy to find, plus there's a coffee shop close by (can't go a day without it). Amazing price and I am in love with my tattoo. 11/10 recommend. read more

Best experience you could have! My lady got her first tattoo here and Candice took care of her and did an amazing job! Myles is the newest artist of the crew and straight up kicked ass on my tattoo! The environment is very friendly and comfortable! This shop has artists capable of doing any type of tattoo that you could ask for! Very skilled and the prices cant be beat. I strongly recommend to come here for the best experience especially for first timers. I definitely will comeback for more! Thank you everyone in the shop and continue to kick ass! read more

This place was great. I am in a wheelchair and they are not wheelchair accessible. 2 guys came out and lifted me up the couple of stairs they do have. When we left, they did the same for us. It was wonderful! This was my first tattoo. Mike was very patient and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I could take as many breaks as I needed he said. It went very well and didn't hurt like I thought it might. When/if I get another one, I definitely will come back here. read more

I went to Main Street Tattoo for my first tattoo in 17 years... I was looking to cover up a piece that had faded out and I wasn't fond of... I worked with Christoph, who worked with me and my ideas to get me exactly what I wanted. He took my idea and turned it up to 11... he was extremely professional and easy to work with. I am super happy with every facet of the experience... read more

After looking at other artist in the area for wildlife (wolf) and cover up tattoos I came across Main Street Tattoo. Santos is an amazing artist. I knew what I wanted for a cover up just wasn't sure if it would work. Santos came up with a great cover up piece for me and I love it. I have recommended family and friends to go see him. They also love the work that he has done. Scheduled my next tattoo already. Recommend him to everyone. Dee S. read more

Only in town for another day and wanted a tattoo. We dropped in and luckily there had been a cancellation. The customer service was awesome. The artists in the shop all have a good relationship as they was kidding and laughing. The shop was really clean and well maintained. As for our tattoos, Mike did an awesome job on the tat's- the lines were clean and color great. Great music played and conversation relaxed. Awesome experience. I would highly recommend Main Street Tattoo. read more

I was really excited to get my Autism awareness tattoo. Mike, whom I scheduled it with, first argued with me on the location (he refused to place it on my foot as it would 'rub off'). I placed it on my shoulder instead per his forceful suggestion. He drew the design which was AWESOME, but than proceeded to argue with me over the size. I once again went with his suggestion, and then he screwed up HORRIBLY on the line work, which he admitted to. And I paid $70 for it (it's rather small and just linework). read more

Candice did a tattoo for me. I went into the shop and had a picture in my mind and what she came back with was that and so much more. I cannot believe how happy I am with her work. The entire shop was very friendly and welcoming. I will not go anywhere else! read more

First off, I just want to day, this place is great! I went today to get an ear piercing that I was unsure about at first. But I called the day before to ask a few questions and the customer service was fantastic! After calling around to a few different places, Main Street was definitely the most helpful! When I got there this morning, they answered a few more questions for me and had me feel very comfortable, not only about the process of the piercing, but also the healing process and the care. It doesn't hurt as much as I thought it would as they were as gentle as they could be; considering there was a needle envolved. The knowledge they had about different situations was awesome. They had to put my earring in a little differently as my ear is shaped a little different than normal. The fact that they knew exactly what to do, made me feel like they were taking time to make sure they were doing the process correctly and as gently as they could. I would highly recommend going here especially for piercings. (As I did not get a tattoo.) The customer service, care, and knowledge was exceptional! read more

I moved to Colorado from Boston and I have been trying to find a tattoo artist since! I was stoked to find out my old artist from Boston was moving here and working at Main Street tattoo. Once he got here I made sure to get an appointment with him at his new(to him) shop. Main Street is an awesome tattoo shop that I wish I had found sooner. And of course Bosco's work was even better than I remembered! I would highly recommend trying out Main Street for your next tattoo.. or your first! (I drive an hour to get tattooed here now... it's worth it!) read more

Was very taken aback stepping in here. Though I know tattoo parlors are supposed to reflect a bit of a "hardened" culture inside because of the nature of the industry, I felt the environment went a little far. I was greeted gruffly when I opened the door to the shop (if I could call it a greeting), and after I wasn't helped for more than ten minutes I finally decided to leave. I think they are taking the "hardcore" culture a little too seriously at this shop, which is too bad because it's a great location and the artists seem to have potential (their portfolios could use some TLC because the books look uncared for). read more

About a week ago, I got my ear pierced here during their $20 piercing sale, and all was fairly normal until yesterday, about five days later. My ear was hurting and I thought it was just the average "new piercing" hurt, until it started swelling up to the size of an orange. Long story short, I ended up going to the ER and now I have to take 6 antibiotic pills a day. Everybody who treated me at the ER agreed that they had to have used dirty/non-sterilized tools. So not worth it. read more

My DIL and I took my 8 month old granddaughter here to have her ears pierced. First, the place is very clean. Sterlization of all equipment and the earrings we brought with us was top priority. The people who work there are fun and engaging which made for a wonderful experience. Julie was extremely patient and explained what she was or would be doing every step of the way. Needless to say the baby wasn't totally on board with having her ears pierced but we got through it and Julie being the pro that she is managed to pierce the baby's ears perfectly. We're so glad we came here to have them done. Would highly recommend 720 Main St tattoo and Julie for all your piercing needs. read more

Went in for my second tattoo with Santos. The place is SO clean and a great environment. The people who do the tattoo art are professional and a gift to their trade. Santos was extremely detailed in the art I had done and took the time to explain and go over it prior to starting. I will go back most likely for many more and would trust anyone in the shop... they are THAT good! I recommend them to anyone for their first time tattoo, to fix anything done at other shops or to add to your current collection of tattoos you might already have. read more

The people here are very sweet - for tattoo artists lol (they can be rough)! But these ones are good. The work is detailed, they don't have a heavy hand. I'd suggest them to friends and family read more

Do NOT go here. The guy who screwed up my piercing was rude from the second I walked in. Poor attitude, short, unprofessional. He placed a dot where he was to pierce-- then pierced very far from the dot. WRONG place. When I got up to look at it, he ordered me to "sit down." He then proceeded to blame me, saying I had "moved." Then he said it was because it was my fault for choosing the jewelry I chose. Not sure his name-- but he looks like the guy who plays Jesse in Breaking Bad. read more

This place is worth checking out and getting work done. I have had 2 tattoos done there and one completely redone as well as color fixes. All of my tattoos now look amazing thanks to Stevie. If you have sensitive skin I highly recommend main street tatto as the place to go. Stevie does amazing work, especially in color and the color is so vibrant and I get compliments all the time on my ink. The work is original and clean and all the artists are really down to earth and will help your body art look the best it can be. I will never go anywhere else. read more

Went in for a consult at Main St Tattoo which went ok. The guy seemed competent and told me he was 'wide open' to get me in. Gave me his email and asked for pictures to do some sketches and then we would schedule the appointment. After sending the pics with a few other follow up questions I forgot to ask in person I got no reply. Guessed he was working on it and I didn't want to be too pushy. Almost two weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I reached out again. Nicely said I was anxious to get it started and wondered if he had any sketches I could look at. No response. Reached out again a few days later to say I wasn't waiting anymore. I would have been happy with a "piss off. I'm busy...", but I got literally nothing. For a guy that's 'wide open' that's pretty low. Oh yeah, and I flew family in to help with my kids to get the work done... guess I'm out that money. Thanks Main St Tattoo... for what? Literally nothing... read more

I have been going to Main Street Tattoo for 10 years, and I would not go anywhere else. I refer all my friends their because its the only place around that provides quality work along with the right price. They are so flexible and willing to work with the client. You can bring in your own work or work with an artist so that your piece is exactly the way you want it. I am currently being tattooed by Mike, Stevie, Russ, and recently by Santos. Stevie: Stevie has been tattooing me since the day she started tattooing. I have her first piece on me as well as about 15 or more pieces. Her attention to detail is amazing and her skill level is endless. When I go in she is always their with a smile on her face and a new piece that I cant turn down! She is top on my list and I will follower her wherever she goes! Russ: I have also been going to Russ since day one. The pieces that he comes up with are phenomenal Maybe you want some free hand stuff done or a piece that you have created, Russ is able to listen to your needs and create an amazing piece that you will love. Mike: Mike is the owner and one of the nicest men I have met. His tattoos are perfect and his attention to detail is priceless. He knows how to run a shop and is the man your looking for in any catagory. Needless to say I am a MST girl for life. I get compliments every day on the work they do and will never go anywhere else!!! This is the shop you need to go to I promise you will be happy and continue to go back. read more
