worst mistake i've ever made with a tattoo shop/'artist'. scarred for life. huge haze of blown out lines began to appear after 2 days. it's a disaster and will cost a lot to try to make SOMETHING even reasonably aesthetically sound. it's a blown out, scarred, poorly applied mess. i'm devastated. my real opinion is ZERO STARS. the least he could do is refund some/all of my money. he said he could venmo me, then told me he could come up with TEN DOLLARS for me. every other tattoo artist has been shocked and told me to get my money back. he is more upset by feeling personally hurt than by what he did to me. refuses to respond to me, locked doors and closed shops when i showed up for an appointment. shady, shameful, and downright pathetic. read more

Raul is lazy and passed me off to the new girl. He left only to come back as I was leaving to ask me for more money, just to say "never mind". She complained towards the end of our session that her mom bought her an "amazon.com tattoo kit" and her roommates used her sharpies that she uses on skin to color with. (Cross contamination threat.) Gave this photo reference and she left it on my chest the entire time she tattooed . I now have to pay to get this tattoo removed. I would not suggest getting a tattoo here unless you are careless of the outcome. She did the red, purple, green trees. NOT THE SAME! UPDATE: Raul lies saying he had other sessions and says he kept coming over to check on me. How can you have sessions when I'm the only one there and you left to go to the store to get drinks? Just doesn't make since. I originally rated myself 1 star not for drinking before coming there (which I told the artist and she laughed about it) but for letting myself be dumb enough to get practiced on in your shop. You lie and talk of "stencils "! Stencil definition: a thin sheet of cardboard, plastic, or metal with a pattern or letters cut out of it, used to produce the cut design on the surface below by the application of ink or paint through the holes. Stenciling definition: to mark or paint (a surface) by means of a stencil. to produce (letters, figures, designs, etc.) by means of a stencil. Lies, deceitful practices, cross contamination issues, bad management, and lack professional judgement. You let someone with an Amazon tattoo machine and possibly recalled contaminated ink work under you and your supervision. This shows a lack of integrity! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My boyfriend and I traveled from Texas to Colorado to celebrate his birthday and for him to get a tattoo at this shop we heard so much about. We were very excited and went in with high expectations. We provided the girl with a simple picture of 3 trees. She skipped the stencil process completely and started coloring the trees on his arm with markers. They were very different than the picture and when we asked about why it looked so different she told us "that's just my process with all the tattoos I do. I do a rough sketch (on the skin WITH THE INK AND NEEDLE) and then I'll go back and fill it in. It won't look like this when I'm done" that's "just the way she does it and to trust her" we should have never let her touch his skin with a needle, but we decided to trust her "process". When she turned to us and said she was finished, I thought she was only halfway done. It looked like a toddler made a Christmas drawing to hang on the refrigerator. Except this was permanently on my boyfriends arm now. Then she started to explain how she got her job- which was by going and flirting with her tattoo artist until he finally agreed to apprentice her. She was soon let go from his shop and now just started at this one. SHE TOLD US THIS AFTER THE TATTOOED HIM. And honestly that's when I realized the shop, all the positive reviews, and the family who runs it are all a scam. The owner/manager (whatever) is a liar and only cares about taking your money then covering his ass with lies. He was gone for most of the session buying groceries for his kids, then sat and distracted the artist for the rest of the session then had the nerve to ASK US TO PAY HIM A FEE ON TOP OF PAYING FOR THE TODDLER TATTOO. The only reason I could recommend this tattoo shop is if I wanted to take my enemy there as a prank. If you are looking for real ink.. avoid this place at all cost. SORRY if I sound like just another rude Yelper but honestly I would feel partly responsible if anyone else has to go through this joke of a shop. I sincerely hope he fires her, gets a real artist, and stops treating his tattoo shop like side job. We are currently in a heated debate with the owner/manager trying to get my boyfriends "tattoo" removed. But all we are getting in response are excuses and lies. Sorry again I wish I could be writing a positive review but the only positive thing going on there was the donation snack box... Oh and Raul... you didn't have a single appointment going on that day so you are just a flat out liar. I won't sit here and let you TRY to lie your way out of this. If you don't make this right I will make it my goal to not only ruin your career but to shut down your business for good. Try us. read more

Raul did a matching tattoo for my husband and I (I know..) but we love it. It says 'Everyday for the rest of our lives' on our ribs. I thought it would hurt but it didn't hurt a bit. He has a light hand and was extremely professional and affordable. 10/10 as soon as I can get tattoos again I will go straight to Raul. Had an appointment with Zak on February 5 2019. Everyone there was polite and Zak has good customer service. He even had time to do my sisters first tattoo. I planned on getting a solar and lunar symbol tattoos. Solar on my right and lunar on my left arm. Thought nothing of it the tattoos looked good after he was done. Started noticing that the tattoos weren't looking right. For some reason my sisters turned out okay. But my solar symbol the dot started scabbing. Didn't mess with the scab and it fell off on it's own. My boyfriend and I think my tattoos looked irritated. The lunar symbol looks all faded. Went to get a tattoo somewhere else another crescent moon. The artist and the owner looked at my tattoos from Zak and said that they were still healing and it shouldn't take that long to heal. They couldn't do anything about them. But the other tattoo artist did an awesome job compared to Zak's. Texted Raul about it he did texted me back. But couldn't talk to him was at work. Haven't heard from him. Know he must be busy. Really disappointed with the tattoos. Now have to get them fixed. My sisters turned out alright. But my tattoos look horrible! Have attached pictures so people can see what a horrible job Zak did!! read more
