The main project was to replace more than two dozen rotting boards and the steps on our 20-year-old deck, ensure the structural integrity of the deck, and jack up a corner of the deck that had sunk a couple of inches. He also power-washed the deck and the siding of the house that faced the deck. We also needed work done indoors. He repaired a door frame to a bedroom, fixed a broken storm door, replaced marble tile in our foyer, installed a missing sliding closet door, and procured and installed beautiful luxury plank vinyl flooring for a bedroom. He communicated clearly with us throughout every project, made suggestions when he saw something that needed improvement, and always checked with us when a decision needed to be made. In every situation, he did high-quality work in a very timely fashion. He always arrived when he said he would, made sure that the times were convenient for us, and always left the work area clean and organized. Justin came out to give us an estimate and he and Dan started the work as soon as we could get them in our schedule. They had to shorten the metal rail that the chair runs along in order to install it. They also shortened and reinstalled the hand railing to another edge where it is very useful now. Once all this was done, they found that a chair lift part was malfunctioning. They took it upon themselves to troubleshoot first directly with the manufacturer and then organized a replacement part for us. We were up and running within a week (all this during Covid in April). They told us they also do other handicap adjustments in the house like grab bars and other items. We will definitely call them back when we need these extra services. Thanks Mack Mobility!

From the first moment, everything went flawlessly, which has not been my experience with other contractors. The company takes pride in its work and DOES sweat the details (in a good way!), ensuring there are no surprises when it comes to functionality, aesthetics, schedule, and costs. Their pricing was fair, and as someone who is a value-conscious consumer, I felt like the quality of the work - not to mention the ease of working with them - was tremendous for the price paid. They also were simply pleasant to have in our home for the better part of three months; they were always incredibly prompt, cleaned up after themselves, and treated our entire family, including kids and cats, with a lot of care. At one point they even helped me push my stuck car out of the mud I'd parked in to free up spots for their trucks. I'm also including some photos so you can see the quality of their work. My very experienced realtor told me these look like remodels that cost twice the price. Parviz and his crew also reliably gave solid input about design choices, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

A few years ago, I contacted this company about a roof leak that was allowing water into my back…read morebedroom. It took over a year for the MJS team to identify and address the source of the leak. During that time, multiple crews came to my home and removed drywall and insulation from the walls and ceiling while trying to locate the source. During this process, my bedroom sustained significant interior damage, including damage to the wood floors and electrical. The room became difficult to use, with missing drywall, exposed areas of the roof structure, and continued water intrusion. At one point, drywall was replaced without the insulation that had previously been removed. A couple of years later, the roof began leaking again in the same location. I contacted the MJS team because I understood the previous work to be covered by a warranty. Over the next two months, I had difficulty getting a response. Messages sometimes went unanswered for more than a week, appointments were not confirmed, and I often had to follow up for basic information. I was eventually given another contact number and told someone would come out to inspect the issue. Over the following three weeks, I was given several dates when someone would come by. Each time, no one arrived, and I had to follow up again. At this point, my concern is not simply scheduling. I have a recurring roof leak in the same location following a previous repair that took over a year to resolve and involved significant damage inside my home. I have spent months trying to get the issue addressed and obtain a clear response about the next steps. If you are considering this company, I recommend getting the scope of work, warranty terms, timelines, and follow-up procedures clearly documented in writing before proceeding.
