His problem-solving skills are excellent. In both rooms, he found some issues and quickly resolved them. This time, we hired him to renovate our half bath. Lucky for us, Joe is an excellent problem-solver. The bathroom had two sinks, and Joe discovered one of them had been slowly leaking, which damaged the adjoining wall to a closet. Joe took care of the mold problem created by the leak and repaired all the damage. Joe also came to the rescue in solving another issue. Unfortunately, our first floor ductwork is in the floor of our slab foundation. Joe made a custom-made baseboard (matching the rest of the baseboards) with a cutout for the vent. He also made a custom-made duct to protect the vanity floor from the hot and cold air coming from the floor vent. The half bath was a total gut job. Joe replaced the vanity, mirror, vanity lights, repaired some drywall, painted the walls and ceiling, and had a master cabinet maker create a custom-built storage cabinet in place of the second sink. He also rewired the electricity, placing the outlet near the sink on the other side of the room, and also provided electricity for the mirror and vanity lights. He also removed a bulkhead that previously housed the old lights, allowing more height to accommodate the new mirror and vanity lights. Of course, he had plumbers get rid of the piping for the old leaky sink, replaced pipes for the new sink and installed a new shutoff valve. As usual, all of the work done was top notch. Joe has a fine eye for detail, is very courteous, friendly, pleasant to work with, and never leaves a mess behind. I highly recommend and plan to call on him again for future projects.

My family and I used American Kitchen Concepts and could not have been happier with their services!…read more We recommend Dan and his team without hesitation. Our project initially started as an involved kitchen remodel (demo down to the studs and moving two doors) in a c. 1900 house, however, it ultimately involved far more than the kitchen. Over the course of our remodel we developed a strong trust in the crew and their assessments- at multiple points there were things (not related to their work) that they could have covered up, been paid and moved on to their next paying job leaving us with a nasty surprise years down the line (eg failing joists/support beams). Instead, Dan and his crew slowed down their project to take the time to walk my wife and me through the potential implications of findings, the solutions (which may or may not have involved them) and then allowed us to properly address each issue before continuing the kitchen project. Even beyond the trust, which is so important in an involved project, American Kitchen Concepts craftsmanship and attention to details was exemplary leaving us with a beautiful, transformed first floor of our house! We cannot wait to show it off. Finally, in regard to one previous review, I clearly cannot speak to their experience but I can assure you that Dan and Cameron (the lead at our house and, independently, fantastic) clearly knew each other very well, trusted each other's professional judgement and worked as one seamless team.

The stars were finally aligned when we met Dan, owner of American Kitchen Concepts, Inc. He was highly recommended by a neighbor, and he lived up to the stellar recommendation. We met Dan in his office wherein we made design plans and chose from the varied, quality cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, and hardware on hand. Dan gave us wonderful ideas, that we never would have thought possible, had we designed the project on our own. Then came the hard part, the actual demolition and reconstruction. Dan's right hand man for this project was the highly skilled Cameron, a brillant carpenter and electrician. The scope of this project included removing two soffits and elongating one; electrical upgrading; removal of old and installation of new appliances, countertops, cabinetry, sink, faucet, disposal, and lighting; backsplash install; drywall install, repair and painting. Cameron was meticulous, professional, kept the worksite clean with daily sweepup and vacuuming. Cameron's attention to detail was highly appreciated. He treated our home as if it was his own. Dan and Cameron communicated effectively together and with us along this journey. In six weeks time, our kitchen was transformed from a 1980's look to one that is better than cool and modern. We love waking up everyday to our new kitchen and spending time in this room. If you are thinking about a kitchen remodel, don't hesitate to consider American Kitchen Concepts, Inc. Dan and his team were fantastic and we would trust them with any future, large scale project.

We had our bathroom completely redone -- a proper luxury soaking tub and a spacious walk-in shower. Not those pathetic little plastic boxes most companies try to force on people. Steve, the sales representative, actually listened instead of pushing whatever cheap package they had leftover that week. Quite refreshing, I must admit. The crew worked cleanly, on schedule, and without the usual drama of disappearing for days or inventing "unexpected costs." The finished bathroom looks genuinely expensive. The tub is deep and comfortable, the walk-in shower has proper water pressure and space, and the overall quality is far above what one typically finds in this market. Most remodelers these days seem content to do the bare minimum and call it "luxury." RemodelNow, to their credit, did not. They simply did the work correctly. If you are tired of mediocre results and condescending excuses, speak to Steve. For once, the outcome justified the expense

Steve walked us through everything without the usual pressure and made the whole process feel straightforward. The crew showed up on time, kept the house cleaner than expected, and actually communicated when something was going to take a little longer. No disappearing for days or random surprise charges. The finished kitchen looks better than the 3D render they showed us, which almost never happens. As someone who usually overthinks every home project, it was genuinely low-stress. They handled the details, answered questions without making me feel dumb, and the quality of the work is solid. We've already recommended them to two friends.
