He ordered a prolactin test (which cost $150) and said he'd call me on Monday with results and next steps. There was some delay over the weekend -- he didn't call personally but sent a letter referring me to a specialist. I was initially frustrated and even drafted a negative review. However, he ultimately sent in the prescription for tamoxifen I had requested. I'm now starting treatment and hopeful it will help prevent further progression while I address the root cause. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my labs, and provided the medication once the additional testing was complete. When I looked it up this happens when the epidural needle breaks through the layer protecting the spinal cord. If the steroids gets in it can cause all sorts of problems. She assured me she did this correctly. I requested my records. I was shocked when I found that she blamed my Thyroid Medication for the chattering teeth. So she lied to protect herself. I was unable to sue for malpractice due to that. It was her notes against my word. I would be very careful. Yes she friendly a nice. I would say overly so.
