The person who submits the requests to Workman's Compensation has apparently decided to play with…read morepatient's pain and care needs by holding onto those requests for 30 days or more and see if the patient can get Workman's Comp to expedite their normal approval process. This is the second time my request has been held for 30 or more days with no explanation, no apology, and no justification. While the first time, I was not only able to get Workman's Comp to expedite the approval process but get on the doctor's schedule in time. This time, I was able to get Workman's Comp to expedite their approval process again, but the doctor's schedule was full. So I am stuck spending over a month in unnecessary pain. If there is a different process to get these requests in on time, I should have been told so I could do that instead. The doctor is great, hence the two stars. This is a staff problem, not a doctor problem.

She is the best Family Practice Doctor we have ever had. She listens to her patients carefully and is available to answer any medical questions we might have. Her office is clean, and the staff at St. Mary's Medical Group are helpful and very friendly. We have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be called into the exam room. We feel very fortunate to have her as our Doctor and are very grateful that she has such a good support staff.

6/10/2024- Had a…read morefollow up with my nurse practitioner I've been seeing for over five plus years.. Follow up was to go ver the results of my thyroid biopsy and also my echocardiogram .. (over two weeks ago-5/23).. Both results were a relief and no fluid around or near the heart.. and biopsy was benign.. My downgrade of stars- as much as I enjoy my NP over the years, I'm really disappointed with lack of response .. I anxiously awaited the results and even though I read them before it being viewed, I never heard back .. This happened late last year as well.. I called and left messages and no response. I think it's time for me to move on and will be seeing a new MD.. Hopefully, one that will respond in a timely fashion..

Jennifer Leary, APN (Advanced Practitioner Nurses who have obtained advanced training and certification, often including a master's degree or a doctorate in nursing. APNs are often referred to as advanced practice registered nurses (APRPs) and are among a group of healthcare providers described as advanced practice providers (APPs)), and she is such a dedicated provider who is very knowledgeable. If you have health issues, she will do everything that she can do, to find out what the causation of the symptoms are, by ordering laboratory tests, providing referrals to appropriate specialists and ordering imaging such as CT-Scans, MRI's, X-Rays, and other radiological imaging. She goes over the lab results & discusses your diagnosis and explains what your options are, so that you are informed. I would like to recommend Jennifer Leary as a great health professional. She is now my designated Health Provider with my insurance. They are located in the downtown area of Reno, Nevada. They are inside of The St. Mary's Medical Center, and they are not affiliated with The St. Mary's Hospital or Medical Care. The address is: 645 Arlington Street, in Reno. There is a large parking garage in the back. I have always been able to park on the street or at The St. Mary's Orthopedic Clinic across the street. I hope that my review will help others who are struggling with health issues, by referring them to Jennifer Leary, at The Center of Health Internal Medicine.
