There was some delay over the weekend -- he didn't call personally but sent a letter referring me to a specialist. I was initially frustrated and even drafted a negative review. However, he ultimately sent in the prescription for tamoxifen I had requested. I'm now starting treatment and hopeful it will help prevent further progression while I address the root cause. He listened to my concerns, reviewed my labs, and provided the medication once the additional testing was complete.
