My local store! I LOVE most of the checkers, especially the young, long, dark-haired girl usually on check stand 1. She is NICE, SOCIAL and MOVES FAST! BUT I have encountered LONG LINES for checkout and now three times, a checker will "quietly" grab a person in line and take them to a register they are opening. But NOT THE NEXT PERSON IN LINE! The arbitrarially pick someone and that SUCKS! The one black woman checker ALWAYS grabs women, especially with kids. We have busy lives too! The 50 something guy/manager with glasses and graying hair, who TALKS NONSTOP to IMPACTING his scanning rate, also PICKS YOUNG hipster people out of line. Today he even called one guy "hey, you, young guy," when I said "that's could be any of," he OFFENSIVELY said "you are not YOUNG!" What an ASS! Think next time. This was the straw, I WILL BE REPORTING him. He is JUST OBLIVIOUSLY to customer service. He has been a problem a few times, but most you let it go. This was RUDE. read more

I visited this store today and it wasn't too crowded for day-of Thanksgiving shopping. The stuff hadn't been picked over yet and the staff was doing a great job of stocking and making the store look presentable. Food items looked good and there were plenty of options to choose from. We had a few questions about items and the staff was able to help us find different items since it's been awhile since shopping at this location. The aisles were clearly marked and the shelves were well arranged. The music was at a good volume and they mixed in different music during our shoppong time. I also liked that they had some holiday decor and live flowers/plants by the front. When it came to checking out, they had the options of self scan and going with a cashier. The Starbucks was also not super busy and a quick in and out for the line. I especially like that they have one of those DMV kiosks that you can use in the store for any car reg needs. Parking is pretty ample with an open lot. Honestly, will start shopping here more often based on this experience. read more

Pharmacy is also great with various offers for transferring prescriptions. The shopping carts are great and have recently been refreshed with phone and drink holders. I shop at this albertsons all the time - it is my "go to" location. The reason is they always have a good selection of premade meals like Sushi, sandwiches, etc. its easy for me to grab a few meals to take to work or long days out. Im trying to not eat at fast food burger joints which is my weakness! Like all grocery stores, it gets busy in the afternoon when everyone is shopping for dinner groceries - no problem when it's busy tho, they have self checkout lines as well as assisted. Shelves are always stocked and i rarely have a problem with "sold out" items so my confidence level is good knowing I'll find everything i need. read more

I love this location! There is plenty of parking and an easy location to get to. There are so many different flower arrangements here. I love that they decorate them depending on the season. During graduation time you'll see little grad bouquets. They have some good vegan snacks and ice cream. They also have a section for toiletries which not every grocery store has. I love grabbing some lotion or home cleaning products while doing my food shopping. They typically always have deals on different products. Fruit at Albertsons is affordable but still good quality. I especially love the fruit platters. The checkout is seamless thanks to the many self check out stations. Most of them are always up and working. If you have a bigger haul they also have a line where cashier can bag and scan items for you as well. read more

Completely bizarre experience. For years I've been buying gift cards from supermarkets for retailers like Home Depot where I spend a lot of money and get excellent supermarket rewards as a bonus. I went in today to buy some more because they are having a double point promotion and the manager refused to sell them to me because I know someone else who also bought some gift cards and so it's "weird." Not sure why it's weird for a supermarket that sells hundreds of different gift cards to have more than one customer interested in purchasing them. if you don't want to sell something, don't put it out for sale! Ok so this particular Albertsons is good for the MOST PART. They are good with replenishing items on the shelves, they rarely go out of stock on something but when they do it's only for a day usually. USUALLY. Rarely has it been more than a day. But my issue is the facial piercings they allow staff to have on full display. Some people would say this has nothing to do with the functionality of the store itself. However, (if) you know business, then you know in ANY business- the appearance of staff matters. The gentleman who has MULTIPLE facial piercings & really long hair is typically observed working in the produce section & sometimes the deli area or where the rotisserie chickens are cooked. I believe his name is Jadon. Again, to some this may not seem like a problem that needs mentioning but it's never a good idea to give off the impression that your business is lowering standards by allowing things like this. read more

Service was HORRIBLE. Zufran (Store Supervisor) and Yani the clerk along with another tall grey hair Caucasian Man , another Supervisor who ignored us, all refused to honor the deals in the weekly adds. Today is Thanksgiving the 28th and as I was showing my add to the clerk due to it not registering in the Albertsons system (this is a $30 savings so not just a couple cents) Zufran repeatedly looked at my phone and told me I was lying about the app and it expired on the 27th. She kept walking away from me and telling me she's not helping me. She stopped to open her phone and of course it said the same thing. Coupon Expires tomorrow. In the picture below you will see the date and it does not expire until tomorrow. Today was the last day. She continued to tell me she's not doing anything and she's not honoring the add as it does not apply to me. Why my family and I , I don't know, but I have never been treated so badly by anyone at an Albertsons location. Thank Goodness for Rose and her excellent customer service and honorable service in correcting the mistake and acknowledging that we were in fact correct. Zufran and Yani (I'm sure these names are spelt incorrectly I apologize for that) however it was imperative I share this experience as this was not any way to be treated on Thanksgiving. I was called a liar in-front of several other customers at checkout. I am extremely embarrassed and disappointed in my local Grocery store. With how expensive groceries are these day saving a dollar anywhere we can is how most of us get by so for this Woman to be so rude and call me a liar was just disgusting. Thank you again Rose. I received a call from the pharmacy today and was insulted by the pharmacist tone of voice and her condescending attitude. My doctor called in a script for me and the pharmacy called me to lecture me on controlled substances. "As you have already been told", is what the pharmacist stated. Okay, yes you told me, but I'm suffering from two autoimmune diseases, a plethora of obstacles that I need to take care of, and perhaps I actually don't remember. We came back the next day to see if someone else was working & another lady didn't want to help us either. They just kept saying the system wouldn't allow us to send money. I prefer this store over other big chain grocery stores. I frequent Albertsons often and the employees are always so friendly and welcoming to me and my service dog. Today is just a similar occurrence to the rest of my trips, I had an employee greet me and tell me to be aware of another dog that was so clearly not a service animal. She informed me that they cannot do anything more if the customer, with the out of control dog, says that it is a service animal (this is something almost every business in Nevada is trained to tell their employees). she was very sweet on directing me where it was, but I don't think she is aware that I shouldn't have to fear my dogs safety if I need to go shopping for something. This particular location tends to be less busy than the one on Blue Diamond and Buffalo. It is also easy to get to and in a great location along Blue Diamond. The store is always clean and well stocked. The isles are always clear and easy to get through. The cashiers have always been very friendly and happy to assist or answer any questions. They always interact with you as you are checking out and ask how your day is etc. The bakery isn't large but has a nice selection of baked goods. Cakes, muffins, pie, donuts, cookies, breads and so on. I have tried a few different things from the bakery and they were fresh and flavorful. Shopping at this Albertsons store on Blue Diamond & Decatur is usually a pleasant experience, and I shop there 2-3 times a week. However, the customer service at the deli needs work. The deli staff seem too busy to notice they have a customer. This happened to me again today while waiting to buy different salads. Another staff member even pointed out to them they had a customer waiting but still no one acknowledged me. I said "forget it"and went on with the rest of my shopping. This Albertsons has by far the rudest self checkout cashier. If you see Bianca at checkout go and make line at a register. She is beyond rude and unapologetic. I was checking out and paying when she comes up to me yelling to move because another customer was waiting for my register. As a customer myself I don't think she should be rude and yelling to anyone. I understand people have bad days. I'll just give this rating a one star since I was treated like a criminal in the store today... I used 6 transactions for ribs and corn. They look at my cart and already discriminated me from purchasing. I ask them to bring more corn out and one of the employee went to check and he said he saw several boxes of corn in the back, but couldn't bring it out because he's not the produce guy. So I went to ask Manager if he can go back there to get it or find the right person to bring out. When the manager saw what was in my cart, he already questioned me how many phone numbers do I have for these transactions? I also told him that I spoke with corporate in the past about this and if I am being stopped, it's not right. I shouldn't have to give an excuse or justify why I'm buying all the stuff in my cart as long I have phone numbers clipped and to put in your system. I have disabled family members that cannot come into the store to buy themselves so they clip it on their phone numbers for me to buy it for them. I shouldn't even have to put my excuse on here but when you're treated badly in the store, it's very upsetting. Albertsons should train their employees not to discriminate people when they're purchasing things in the store, especially when they're not stealing... both of the managers treated me not so kindly. I don't often come to the Albertsons on Blue Diamond in Mountains Edge, even though I live very close. I generally opt to go down the road another mile or so and shop at Walmart. I popped into this store the other day, for an item or two, and I was stunned to see how clean it was, how pleasant and friendly the employees were, and the fresh, nicely displayed produce. My one problem with this store is the cost of most items. Accept for the price difference; I wouldn't hesitate to offer five stars to this store for its cleanliness, adherence to pandemic regulations, friendly staff, and beautifully manicured store. This store is so clean, friendly, and merchandised, it almost makes me want to shop here all the time and pay the higher prices. But alas, I can't bring myself to spend more money for something I know I can buy down the street for less. Huge thank you to the swing shift manager Rebecca. Not only is this Albertsons kept clean and stocked with all our favorites, but they are all extremely helpful and very honest and sweet. I was there last night and accidentally left my cell phone and credit card in one of the shopping cart after I put it in the corral. I had a lot going on and didn't realize I lost my items until almost an hour later when I was across town. I called and spoke to the manager Rebecca who shared that my items were returned and that they had my items. They were awesome and kept my personal item and retuned them to me. Manager crystal leaves her employees to do all the work and when she is called over the intercom she did not even acknowledge it 4 times!! I literally watched her gossiping with another person about a $600 appointment while the poor customer service clerk asked for her help. Her excuse was that she was talking to another manager. Is your conversation about a $600 appointment about Albertson? I think not! I told crystal about the 2 month old yogurt that I accidentally purchased. since you know I shouldn't have to look at expiration dates if I was going to consume them this week. I brought her the other yogurts that were expired so she didn't have to work so hard. Poor management. Come on Albertsons, do better. read more

Shopping here is usually peaceful until using the self checkout and staff makes you feel uncomfortable. This was definitely the first time I felt that I was being discriminated.
