The employees here are buying store merchandise before opening hours which i'm sure as illegal. I was outside in line since two in the morning trying to purchase a Starbucks cup the Starbucks cashier Employee told us there was an inventory of 13 at 5:30 AM then a Albertsons employee comes out at 6 AM telling us that there is an inventory of 7 cups. The people in front of the line that were in front of me told me employees were buying cups before opening hours! not fair to the people who are waiting outside all night! I'm sure that is illegal and should be reported to corporate. If I could give the store zero stars, I would. read more

I will never shop here again. My wife ordered a cake days ago and I show up and the bakery staff has no idea what I'm talking about. I show them the email and they tell me, "oh the baker never accepted that order," as if I'm supposed to know if it has been accepted or not. They gave me 3 options, leave, buy a cake already made or wait for them to make the cake that was supposed to have already been made. They did not offer any compensation for the error on their part. I like to go to this location because it's the closest grocery store, where I can find a good variety of things (ex. only one with the canned Gardein products) and I can get in and out really fast - thank you self-checkout. That said, yesterday I call ahead of time to check and see if they have an item. Spoke to the bakery and asked about the item. They tell me reassuredly without checking that, "yes, we have a bunch. We put a lot out there this morning." Well, I take their word for it and get prepared to leave. I take the bus, which only comes around once an hour. So it would suck to ride all the way to the store, only to find they don't have what I'm looking for, then wait another hour in this summer heat, to go back home disappointed. I get to the store and head over to the bakery area and look for my item. I see a lot of items stocked, as they mentioned...just not the particular item I called for - which sells out pretty quickly smh. Outside of that customer service snafu, it's not a bad location. I can get 95% of my groceries here, although they can use a better selection of produce, particularly organic fruits. Men's restroom is usually clean, tho it's toilet stall doors have been broken for awhile. The staff is usually professional and helpful, just not in this case. read more

This location loves selling expired food. On the 15th of may, I bought pre-packaged Dietz and Watson deli meat that had expired on the 10th. When I went back 5 days later to return it, I looked in the refrigerator section to see the same stock of deli meat expiring on the 10th. I had returned a few days later to grab a few items, they had plastic containers of in-house "fresh" baked cookies by the register. I bought one but when I got home my gut told me to check the date and I saw that they had expired a few days prior. This location completely lacks quality control. It is not the customer's job to check expiration dates before purchasing consumables. Customers should be able to trust that a grocery store is abiding by food safety. The store was clean. There are plenty of workers walking around, however, hopefully you will not need help from any of them. I asked the man working in the produce department if he knew where the Parmesan crisps were located. He told me to try to find the normal produce guy because he might know. He did not make any effort to look or help me in anyway. Then I went through check stand # 2 at 6:47 PM and asked him because I said they are not there normally located, and he said I guess if they aren't there then we don't have them. I asked him if there was anybody who would actually be able to assist me with this and he said try the manager of Veronica. She's over there. So I went over to the area where Veronica was and asked her the same question if she gave me the exact same answer. I let her know that I felt like this was extremely bad customer service and that I can see why they have such a low review on yelp. The customer service has gone way way way way way downhill. There are plenty of workers, however they are not willing to assist you in anyway. If I didn't get my prescriptions there, I would never go into that store for any reason . read more

I have been coming to this store for years. I like the lay out of the store. All thought is old , they keep it clean . The bakery is soo good. Cakes are always outstanding . The fry chicken and hot wins are so yummy; I do not care for the salads . They just introduce sushi last year , is ok for a supermarket . I've been a Stater Brothers customer for ever but if I'm being honest they have really gone downhill the past few months. I'm there almost everyday and have had to bag my own groceries the past several months as well as stand in outrageously long lines at the checkout. It's like management has cut back on checkers and courtesy clerks. I have chosen to go to Albertsons instead and I must say it has been a much more pleasant experience. There is one cashier in particular named Blanca who has set the tone for my day every time. She is extremely helpful and so very sweet and kind . It truly makes a difference!!! Giving this store 2 stars for the management, at least they're polite. The department staff are incredibly rude. Every time I have a question I feel like I shouldn't have asked. They're rude. Just rude. Not sure if it's because I'm a woman or older, or maybe both. Definitely sense some serious dislike which is odd. I don't get that in other stores. read more

If I could give a negative number, I would. I ordered a cake for my wife's 50th birthday (which was Saturday) and the store decided not to make the cake. I called Friday to confirm they got my order, spoke to the bakery manager and she said they would have it ready by Saturday at 4pm, which is what I asked for. I sent my daughter to get the cake Saturday around 5:15pm and the young man tried giving her some random cake. My daughter told him that wasn't the cake, so he started looking for it. After searching for my order, the young man told my daughter the cake wasn't there and he was going to call his manager. He makes the call and proceeds to tell my daughter that the manager told him she decided not to make my cake. He then offered to make the cake Sunday and we could pick it up that same day. I appreciate his efforts to make the situation "right" but that wasn't going to work. I don't understand how you confirm you got the order and you would have it ready the next day, and then just decide not to make it. Absolutely ridiculous that this happened. I'm so upset and annoyed with this situation. I guess I should've went with my guy and ordered the cake at Stater Bros. I will be going into the store tomorrow and speaking with the bakery manager and the store manager, and then I'll be calling corporate. read more

Yeeeech. Yeah, that sums up what I think of this Albertson's. The outside of the store got a face lift last year, but don't let that fool you. See the condition of the stop sign in the photo below? That's closer to the truth. I don't dislike Albertsons' as a rule but this is a pretty lackluster store. Employees have an 'ehh, whatever' when it comes to helping customers, the only well-run department is their produce, and dear God their parking lot is disgusting. More than once, my shoe soles stuck to the pavement like I was crossing a seedy movie theater. Also more than once, I've been hassled by the local homeless coming into or leaving the store. And for that privilege, you get to pay premium prices for average groceries. Yeah, some of this is the low-rent neighborhood the place is stuck in, but...yeeech. So glad we stopped going here and started to go to staterbros instead. Filled a corporate complaint and was told we would get a phone call by district manager and never got a call back by district, instead another manger called who was empathetic but claims their cameras don't have any audio to hear how rude and disrespectful she was, how convenient. This Albertsons is the worst I have ever dealt with. Multiple times they have delivered my groceries that most items were past expiration. When I shop there I find moldy expired product all the time. When dealing with the management they are not friendly except for Teri and Joseph. The others don't care that you have expired product they don't want to help you. When you finally do get help it takes weeks for them to finally refund you and get you your money. Buyer beware check your products and don't expect them to last long. Expect no customer service if things go wrong. read more

My go to grocery store now! I love that there's a Starbucks in there first of all! And I love the bakery section and how they sell cut up fruit cups in sizes for one person to large sizes for parties. I also like that they sell packed cut up veggies for decent prices which makes it easy to just buy and cook real quick.
