One of the better stores beyond the corporate flag ship store down the road. ALWAYS very clean and orderly in this store. Customer service is friendly and helpful. I've been using this Albertsons recently when frequenting other places nearby in Eagle area. Downside....not much! The wine department is much smaller than the Star location. I'm thinking it's to be considerate of the nearby private wine business store...which is out of respect for small businesses. You can still find all levels of wine. I sell wine. read more

Overall I'm extremely grateful to call this my local grocery store. The fact that I am able to leave my house, do all my shopping, check out and bag, and be back home in under an hour is a huge blessing. For anyone that shops here, I do highly recommend paying the $99 annual Fresh Pass fee; they have discounted rates for things like Military as well. In 2025 I saved over $1000, so I definitely know I got my moneys worth. I would be curious to price that out against Winco, as I may still be paying more, but the app telling me that I'm saving makes me feel better The other positives of this store- Layout is easy to follow and relatively simple to find what you're looking for. You're not walking around perpendicular aisles spending 80% of the time just meandering around. The parallel aisles make it very easy to weave in and out. 90% of the time, they have what I need, and if not there is a clear alternative option available. My few negatives that I do have with this store- They seem to stock at what I believe to be inconvenient times (but I also think that is just my luck for when I do my shopping). I go at around 9-10 on Sundays which seems to be their busiest time to stock the shelves. I know it's not a 24 hour location, but I would think stocking in the early mornings or maybe even weekdays would also make it easier for the employees! I used to do delivery because of the convenience, until they started being "out of stock" of a lot of the product that said it was in stock in the app; the app also says what's out of stock.. not their fault as their just trying to be efficient, but the in-store shoppers also don't have quality control. So I definitely learned that instead of being upset at them, I needed to just get my behind up and do the shopping myself. Overall a great location though and the Starbucks inside is of course an added bonus! read more

I just purchased a Prime rib eye steak and cooked it medium rare using an old recipe from the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs I was shocked at how tough it was and it lacked the flavor I am accustomed to for. Used to be the best one in the whole area because their produce is actually fresh and lasts and their quality is higher. However they recently sold me expired food items as well as hassled me at the self checkout last night by the manager where with the coupons I had clipped my total discount on signature select items would have come out to $5 when their literal policy is $9.99 and under. I'm so disappointed especially in today's climate and economy that she was so disrespectful and hurt us that way. My cart had 4 items. I had planned ahead and set a budget. In a world where we can spend our money anywhere this is an awful move. Thanks for being so mean about it. Your community will not forget how you treated them during this time. And stop giving expired meat to the food banks. They do not care about the well being of their employees or their customers when we are the ones who keep their lights on. Shame on you read more

Attractive store... Good looking merchandise... Kind and attentive staff at the checkout lanes. But watch out for Brennan in "Customer Service." Yikes. This store first off is so so so dirty I was sticking to the floor in produce...gross! The products they carry at this store are not up to quality as other stores but price is the same! Now let's get to the checkers or lack there of! The two older ladies during the week with the bitter beer face are rude, curt, abrasive and racists! I have complained with BBB and these people are still working at this store! The Asian lady is just as bad as the other two with her rudeness! The store is always cluttered with pallets all over and no one unloading too busy chatting with coworkers! Kroger is the worst chain in the USA but they have the west locked up! Just to let you know, I have no problem if someone is new and may not get the pricing correct, but to charge a dollar more and then be 2 pieces shot of chicken, that is not right. We are from out of the area visiting friends in Eagle Idaho. We were meeting them for dinner at their house and our friend loves carrot cake. The bakery at Albertsons had a beautiful 2-layer cake. I asked the girl behind the bakery counter if it was fresh. She replied, "they are all fresh!" Great, so I paid $19.99 for the cake and took it to our friends house. When dessert time came I was proud of my beautiful cake I had brought. When we cut into it, I knew right away it was NOT FRESH! It was so dry that no one finished their piece because it was practically inedible. They should have never sold that cake in the condition it was in. It was probably over a week old! read more

This is a good local store, although base prices due seem to be a bit inflated per location. Do check out their sales though- their sales do tend to be legit- & their Clearance Rack in the far back corner of the store (near their small deli) does tend to have excellent deals on healthier treats & other dry goods. This store is also always clean & bright, with well maintained bathrooms located up front. Only real downside is that during this Covid-19 era- most of the employees consistently don't cover their full face (seemingly intentionally). And as many of the local shoppers also refuse to properly wear their mask & socially distance- I recommend their Delivery Service. (Fees range from $3.99-9.99 or a flat unlimited $100 yearly fee.) read more

Ugh ugh ugh. Eyeroll. Huge sigh. My inner demon is coming out as I type. I have never been a fan of Albertson's in all my 25 years in Idaho (Fine, since the birth of my memory. So, 20 years?). I find their store brand products inferior to those of competing stores, along with outrageously high price tags that do not accompany the expected quality you think you'd get when paying top dollar. However, they are everywhere in Ada county, and they have just about anything you need. That's about the only positive statement I've got for Albertson's. Unfortunately I'm forced to frequent this particular location because it's the closest one to me. Nearly every time I've gotten something we end up disappointed. The overpriced bell peppers constantly have bugs in them and you don't find that out until your cutting one up in the middle of making your stir fry. The cherry pie has maybe ten cherries and a ton of goop I have no idea what actually is but reminds me of Elmer's clear glue. And finally, (warning, possible TMI) the sushi tastes good going down but not coming out. Eat at your own risk. I do not mind paying the price for higher quality goods but that's not what you get at Albertson's. I'm sure they'll continue to thrive, and a couple upset customers don't mean anything to this grocery giant. But I've spent (wasted!) enough money at their stores I've earned the right to bitch so bitch I will. Don't even get me started on how awful the company is at the corporate level...I'm going to stop before I have to take another star away. read more

We're elderly so having delivery should be nice. The app they use is pitiful to say the least. I kept getting an error message to check my network. So back and forth I go up stairs to reset our router. After waiting on hold for a long time some rude person informed me it was the app not my network. After 2 hours of fighting the network I drove to the store in Eagle. There I found 4 high school kids in the store playing bumper cars with the disabled mobile carts. This store has assistant managers and checkers that can only handle concerns by being confrontational which only escalates not helps! It is bad enough the store is never stocked, it is DIRTY (check the top shelf under the bottled teas), and ALL employees at this location seem to be very miserable in their jobs, lives, etc. I will never be back to this store I will only do my shopping at Albertsons Market Street no matter how far out of way it might be...thanks Ryan! read more

This is the closest grocer to my home and in spite of very friendly folks at check out, I seldom shop there. More to follow. But, heads up to share that if you're looking for Poinsettias for Christmas, they had an assortment of them today in all sizes, including uber large ones, that were absolutely gorgeous. Also a very nice array of cut floral arrangements for holiday use in the floral cooler too. And tonight the most kind looking Santa was in the house sitting alongside the Salvation Army box in the entry; although few were contributing, many were taking their children's photo with him. As for why I never shop here - they just don't stock the kinds of things I want to buy. Or have very limited options. Like fresh organic produce. And artisan cheeses. And line caught fish. And sustainably raised animal proteins. And bio-degradable household supplies. Alas. Different strokes for different buyers. The things I may want to buy, think McConnell Peppermint Stick Ice Cream in pint sizes for a Christmas splurge, are substantially more expensive than other retailers who traffic in the same. I use the verb traffic decidedly in this example given my addiction to ice cream. And the McConnell's here is nearly $10 a pint. Ho Ho Ho. Not. But yes, I still bought some because Whole Foods was too far a hike tonight get my fix at a lower price. That said, the store is always clean and bright and seems well enough stocked on aisles of shelves for things I never buy. You can do a lot worse than this for groceries. I keep hoping, though, that they'll do a little better to fit for me. read more

My Dad purchased me a gift card at the Starbucks in there on Christmas Eve day for $25. However when I applied it to my Starbucks account it was only worth $20. My Dad gave me the receipt so I went in there and Scott, who I believe is a manager literally assumed my Dad had mixed up his gift cards. My Dad only buys one a year for me so the fact that this Scott assumes is not a good business practice. All I am asking for is $5 and didn't get it!! read more

Growing pains with new stores is understandable. But, when a customer calls in to ensure an items in stock before they make the drive, and they arrive within 10 minutes of the call to none in-stock and it was sold out before the call. I have been a fan of their smaller decorated cakes for birthdays...but the last few I've purchased have been 'sub par' in taste plus higher price. I prefer the small chocolate cakes but this time, they only had white cake and I wanted one for a surprise bd for hubby. He and I both had a small piece with ice cream - sadly the rest of this one will either be returned or tossed; just nothing like the ones I bought in the past (perhaps a new baker?)This one seemed odd tasting; cake was almost mealy inside. Albertsons occupies the position of low value (high price for average quality) anchored by a monopolistic location in Eagle. The store is clean and safe, and offers a basic selection of foods including some healthy options, and the produce is good. However, for what you are buying, the prices are very high, and these high prices are not justified through a beautiful shopping setting. It's a store that clearly hasn't been updated in a long time and pales compared to competitors in the area, such as Fred Meyer. It's a little better than Wal Mart, at a 40% premium. If there were any competitors nearby, this store would be out of business in short order. read more

Albertsons - $8 DiGiorno anyone?? - Grocery Near Me - Eagle, Idaho

In general, I find Albertsons regular prices to be higher than any grocery store in town. They do sometimes have decent sales, and when they do I tend to shop at this location. I have been shopping at this store for over 3 years, since moving to the Eagle area. My very first experience here wasn't a good one. A clerk at the gas area (which is now Stinker brand) was really rude to the customer in front of me and didn't know how to make change. It turned out that as I was shopping for groceries, the store manager was on the salesfloor and I got to tell him about my experience. All of my other trips here have been positive. All of the cashiers and especially the two sisters bagging are really friendly. We also have made good use of the customer service window when Dad buys lottery tickets or today when we need to ask about the lost & found. (They did have our coupon book, yeay!) One thing I really like about shopping here is the markdowns. They tend to have a day-old bakery rack back by the meat, and I often find donut holes, croissants, or those red velvet cream cheese muffins at a deep discount. read more

This is the only grocery store near my house and it is always busy. The parking lot is a nightmare. That being said, I do love the cashiers. However, I will not shop there again. You would think with the demand for food right now, their turnover of product would be pretty high. I bought strawberries that went moldy, in my fridge, within a day. I bought a "fresh, roasted" chicken only to get it home and realize it had been cooked the night before, according to label. I bought a package of bologna there and realized when I got it home that it had expired over a month previously. I realize all of this was partly my fault for not wearing my glasses and checking labels carefully while shopping. But should I have to do that? Shouldn't I be able to trust that they are selling fresh food? read more

i was just in line at albertsons in eagle, idaho, at 5:30 pm on 1-2-19 at the 15 item or less counter. the cashier was checking out a customer and there was one lady in line ahead of me and a man behind me. a new cashier came to open up another line, looked at us and told the man he was next. i told the cashier that was rude. that i was actually next as the lady in front of me unloaded her groceries onto the belt. the casher simply said - oh i guess i didn't see you. are you joking? if this is reflective of albertsons store policy, i will now only shop at fred meyer or somewhere else. albertsons is off my list. read more

The pharmacy is poor. Frequently out of medication requiring multiple trips. They lose refills as well.
