WinCo Foods - Fresh cheese pizza

My husband didn't want to eat what I was cooking for dinner so he ordered himself a pizza at…read more Winco. He placed his order at a kiosk and had it baked there instead of taking it home. My husband is pretty classic and just got a cheese pizza. He wanted to do half and half but it wasn't an option. One of the cons of ordering off a kiosk instead of a person. The pizza was handed to us right from the oven. Piping hot! That baby was loaded with cheese. Not one dry spot on the pizza! It did cool a bit by the time we got home but the cheese pull was still there! For a grocery store pizza, it's actually pretty good! This pizza was 10 bucks and an extra dollar to have them bake it for you. Can't go wrong with an 11 dollar pizza. No delivery fee. No tip needed. You cactus beat that!

Winco is on my weekly grocery shopping rotation for the last 5 years. Prices are so good. Store…read morelayout is easy to shop. They carry most items for both big brands and a Winco brand that's top notch. Plus bin shopping for lots of staples and goodies, grind your own coffee, deli, bakery, sushi, pizza to go, and more. You can feel the discount vibe in places - bag your own groceries- but overall it's a higher class discount market. Preferred items that beat out competitors - sushi, fried chicken, deli cheeses selection, premade pizza to bake at home, and bakery breads and bagels baked in store. I prefer their fresh baked bagels to any speciality bagel store. Items lacking - deli sliced meats not great and lack of cake offerings, plus the packaged bakery baked sweets not that great. Lower selection of some item variety but not that many items I cannot find. Love the produce area, good quality and prices. Paper towels are my fav, price is so low! Staples are cheaper here (canned, jars, dry items like pasta, oatmeal, peanut butter, etc.) than anywhere else. Great selection of grab and go meals at excellent prices. Prices have been terrible on eggs here lately. Watch signs for a price for 1 box of eggs but in small print they charge much more for the 2nd or more box of eggs the same size. The prices vary so watch labels and ads for deals.

Had a great experience here. I have been here a few times when visiting family and always thought…read moreit was average but recently I went and found a wide variety of items. Lots of name brands were here. They were more expensive than some places but you don't have much choice in the area. Unless you want to drive further. Friendly people in the store and fresh produce and meats. Will come back again.

As of recently, last 2 visits which were after 8 p.m. ive been treated so terribly by a new employee of at least new to me. The last experience I had to use the self check out which I absolutely hate. Nothing ever goes well and this night was no different except for the rude treatment from this employee. She treated me like I was an idiot and made it very clear that I was getting on her nerves because she had to help me several times. Well tonite I got to be checked out by her again. I stood at the #1 checkout for several minutes while she swept the new self checkout area. She looked at me a couple of times and continued to sweep like I wssnt there. A younger girl that bags and brings in carts asked if I had been helped to which I replied NO and pointed to Diesta or something similar to that name and told her she had ignored me. She approached her and told her I was needing checkout out and she told her she was busy talking to a customer which by the way had barely started talking with her. She finally checked me out with what seemed like disgust. I dont know why she would be so nasty and rude to me but ill make sure and not shop at this time of night anymore!!

One of the better stores beyond the corporate flag ship store down the road…read more ALWAYS very clean and orderly in this store. Customer service is friendly and helpful. I've been using this Albertsons recently when frequenting other places nearby in Eagle area. Downside....not much! The wine department is much smaller than the Star location. I'm thinking it's to be considerate of the nearby private wine business store...which is out of respect for small businesses. You can still find all levels of wine. I sell wine.

Overall I'm extremely grateful to call this my local grocery store. The fact that I am able to…read moreleave my house, do all my shopping, check out and bag, and be back home in under an hour is a huge blessing. For anyone that shops here, I do highly recommend paying the $99 annual Fresh Pass fee; they have discounted rates for things like Military as well. In 2025 I saved over $1000, so I definitely know I got my moneys worth. I would be curious to price that out against Winco, as I may still be paying more, but the app telling me that I'm saving makes me feel better The other positives of this store- Layout is easy to follow and relatively simple to find what you're looking for. You're not walking around perpendicular aisles spending 80% of the time just meandering around. The parallel aisles make it very easy to weave in and out. 90% of the time, they have what I need, and if not there is a clear alternative option available. My few negatives that I do have with this store- They seem to stock at what I believe to be inconvenient times (but I also think that is just my luck for when I do my shopping). I go at around 9-10 on Sundays which seems to be their busiest time to stock the shelves. I know it's not a 24 hour location, but I would think stocking in the early mornings or maybe even weekdays would also make it easier for the employees! I used to do delivery because of the convenience, until they started being "out of stock" of a lot of the product that said it was in stock in the app; the app also says what's out of stock.. not their fault as their just trying to be efficient, but the in-store shoppers also don't have quality control. So I definitely learned that instead of being upset at them, I needed to just get my behind up and do the shopping myself. Overall a great location though and the Starbucks inside is of course an added bonus!
