The worst I've been in and a lesson in frustration. The employees here (except deli n butcher case) are beyond rude. Elbow you out of the way to restock, employees hold up the line with their own check out issues and then glare at the customers. Nice store, bad employees. Never again. read more

Really, if you employ someone who does not understand English perhaps they should be doing a behind the scenes job where this language skill is less important. The full service butcher section is not helpful when staffed by this employee. Happily I pass two other grocery stores on my way home and will look for help there. read more

I really like coming here, all employees are very nice and helpful. Sometimes the produce department doesn't have things stocked like they should but if you ask them they will always cut up while you wait. I really think they try to keep everything well stocked. read more

Pretty clean at this location. Produce section is kept nice and tidy. They have a Redbox movie rental kiosk here as well as some photo processing services. Being one of the few larger supermarkets in the area, there aren't that many more choices. read more

This used to be our store ...never again. Today at noon we went in i had about 4 items my husband behind me with 2 . As it became my turn grumpy cashier announced not to take 100.00 bills that they were fake...ok. she rang up my things and I swiped a card and was 33 cents short. Apparently she said I owed 33 cents and I didnt hear her because she yelled it second time. My husband stepped up to give me 33 cents and she put her hand out and said no...dont . I told her he was my husband . At that point she started mocking me saying this is your husband??? Yeah right ! then repeated it again. She became louder until everyone around me heard it.My husband caught on right away what was happening and became angry. It took me a minute to realize she didnt believe we were together because 1 he is Asian and younger, 2 I am white and older. Humiliating. She was disgusting. Never ever ever again. Everyone in line was aware of what was going on and a lot of rolled eyes as this is a diverse community Albertsons should have a zero tolerance to anything like this. And then you have to wonder..even if I didmt know the person behind me and he was offering 33 cents whats it to her? Good bye Albertsons read more

I like this Albertson's mainly because they have lots of local wines at discounted prices compared to other markets in the area. As far as everything else goes, it is a supermarket with lots of stuff. The cashiers are a bit on the slow side and usually there is a line here. But everyone is very helpful and nice and I will continue to shop here when I'm at my home in Solvang. read more

My car broke down just outside of town. I spent two nights in my car and by the end of the second day was starting to look and smelled like a cave woman. They were kind, polite and very helpful. It is a nice store and has nice sales. read more

This is the forth best grocery store in the valley. The staff is peppered with the occasional person that seems to regret working there. There is no convenient way to get something to eat to go. All the other grocery stores in the area have a deli that is designed to get some lunch or take home a dinner, not this one. If you order a sandwich at their deli it is an inconvenience for them. If you are dead set on shopping at an Albertson's there is a better one in every surrounding city. read more

Super friendly, helpful employees who give you service with a sincere smile. I shop here regularly when i am in the santa ynez valley. Great fried chicken deal for about $10 with 8 pieces of chicken, one pound of potato salad oe coleslaw, and a small package of king 's hawaiian bakery sweet rolls. Huge prepared salads for $5 that are so big they state the bowl is 3 portions. Albertson's used to be lucky's, a lower priced chain, and the tradition continues. I think albertson's is cheaper than vons or ralphs with comparable quality. Perhaps the albertsons decor is not as upscale. I am starting to shop more at albertsons in los angeles now. read more

The people who work at the Deli are awesome if you come at the right time there is a lot of good food. They use to have Self Check Out which was amazing because if you only had a handful of items you're out of there in a few minutes. Unfortunately they removed everything and its now a Fast Lane checkout but no one is usually working on those checkouts :T read more

90s decor and painfully slow checkout join forces in this disappointing SYV staple. Unremarkable selection and quality, and prices seem highish even relative to Santa Barbara. All is probably due to the lack of competition from any other nearby big chain stores. How I wish this were more like the incredible wine-country chic Albertsons in Paso. read more

Some of the slowest cashiers around. If there isn't a line don't worry, they will make sure to build one up.

I went to the deli at this store on 2/4/16 and ordered a tri-tip sandwich which turned out to be mostly nerves and fat, so of course it was not a good lunch the meat was very tough! Stay away! also the staff was rude! read more

Usually shop here for groceries and orcas but lately late at night there has been a lack of customer service. There has been a lack of employees late at night...For example tried to checkout at the self-checkout line and all the stations required assistance but there was no employee around to fix the stations and got no help for about 15 minutes. Could have easily been avoided but will give Albertsons another chance ! read more

I like to browse the wine section while my wife get the snack food for our lunch. They have a whole wall of the local wineries wine. Prices are cheaper and you can get a 10% case discount. Unfortunately, they do not carry any of the better higher priced local wines with a few exceptions. read more

The most expensive prices of all the local markets for the quality of meat. Anything that is on sale in the meat department is never in stock when you go after work, maybe during the day but evening shoppers will pay more with lots of apologies for not having the items in stock. This has been an ongoing saga with Albertson's, Buellton, Ca.. This has happened so many times to me I believe it is a marketing rouse. See for yourself. Don't bother contacting the company through the normal e-mai channels, as they won't respond as is my experience. Too bad it is a nice store with courteous people. I was taught as a young retail entrepreneur if you say you have it then make sure it is in stock. Everyone runs out of things on occasion, but not consistently particularly on the sale items.
