Alberto was able to squeeze me in with short notice at the time most convenient to me. He got stains out that others said couldn't be removed suggesting that I had discolored the carpet with the products I was using for pet odor. The carpet color was restored and all the stains removed. He did a thorough job with everything which included a sofa and three easy chairs. I chose Albert's Carpet Cleaning because of the good reviews on Yelp, and also they were willing to come earlier than other cleaners. I gave them two stars as he agreed to come at 5 PM on a Friday evening. However, the good experience ends there. I got a phone call 45 minutes before the cleaner was due to arrive explaining I would have to pay in cash. Cash, not check. Fortunately I had sufficient cash. I thought that was odd. The gentleman that came spoke virtually no English. Fortunately I remembered some of my high school Spanish, so I was able to communicate regarding what areas I wanted cleaned, and I pointed out the spots. Upon leaving, a hose on his machine broke and water spewed all over my hardwood floors in my living room, my couch, my walls, and even into my kitchen. Fortunately it was clean water. I helped mop it up. I thought the least he could have done was offer me a small discount for the mess and inconvenience, but nothing was said. I inspected my carpets after they were dry, and found none of the spots had been removed. The cleaning was very cursory - I was extremely disappointed. I am going to have to call another service to do the job. I am going to contact the company and ask for a 50% refund. I paid $180 for two rooms, hall and stairs. I did not get what I paid for.
