Since approximately 2018, I have experienced ongoing difficulty reaching the clinic by phone after a longstanding pattern of not receiving callbacks after leaving voicemail messages. Calls frequently go unanswered, and voicemail messages are often not returned. This has been a consistent pattern over several years, resulting in limited ability to reliably contact the clinic regarding patient care concerns. On the occasions I have reached "Pat" (office assistant), I have been told she is busy. However, when I attend the clinic in person she has not appeared to be occupied with patient related tasks and has instead been conversing with staff or not engaged in work at the front desk. I have spoken to other patients that attend this clinic and they have the same complaints and find it highly annoying. This creates a barrier to accessing care and communicating with the office. Based on my experience, patients should be aware of communication challenges when dealing with this clinic.

She struggled to find a vein and was very rough. I almost never bruise when I get bloodwork but I did this time. Even three days later it has only gotten more painful to move my arm. He will prescribe you wrong pills, won't remember even giving you a prescription and worst of all he won't tell you when you have something seriously wrong with you.. even when it's right in front of his face. My mom luckily got in with another doctor after his receptionist ignored her calls and she finally got some answers.. after one visit with this new doctor. Also, Dr.Lo yelled at my mom after my sister emailed her concerns about the lack of care he was providing.. made her sign a paper saying he is right and she's wrong. This was a blessing because the ignored phone calls pushed her to find this new clinic and get the care she deserves and needs. So I guess he did one thing right, telling his receptionist to not accept my moms calls. To add, the person that referred my mom to Dr.Lo is having the same problems and was admitted to the ER because he screwed up their medication. Stay far far away from this clinic!!

There were clear signs stating to wait for assistance. It was kind of awkward just standing there but eventually a lab lady came to help me. I booked an appointment online a few days ago. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to my appointment. The lab lady took my lab requisition and asked me to wait. She said I wouldn't have to show my ID (I used my driver's license to confirm my identity) until my blood would be drawn. I heard a client in the waiting area, complaining about how slow the lab was and how it didn't make a difference if you made an appointment or not. This was not my experience. I didn't wait long at all! I was in and out within 30 minutes or so. The lady who drew my blood said they try be within 30 minutes of a booked appointment time. Not a bad first time here!

This is a great hospital. The court yard is beautiful. My wife came early Sunday morning and from…read morethe time we walked through the door the hospital staff were very friendly and really good with everything. My wife delivered our baby Sunday evening and the nurses did their best to keep her comfortable. I've been to hospitals with rude or lousy nurses but every nurse here went above and beyond. After our baby was born they helped my wife and baby with anything they needed. That also let me stay over night with my wife so I could sleep. The downside of the hospital is the paid parking and trying to remember when it expires and a lack of food options for guests on the weekends but Tim Hortons was good.

I was taken in about 5 minutes before my appointment time even though the waiting room was packed. I did spend about 25 minutes past my appointment time alone in the exam room, however the doctor came in apologizing profusely saying she had to spend a little extra time comforting her last patient, totally understandable. I've recently started seeing Dr. Mcevoy (spelling?) and she is absolutely wonderful. She's caring and listens and explains and thinks out loud as to what her thoughts are and courses of action - "hmm, we could try this, what are your thoughts?" and so on. She even sat there and googled images and explained about my neck issues and how muscles and discs lead to pain, pointing out where my issues were. The reception can be a little blunt at times and I was given the wrong date for my last appointment and missed it. Lesson learned, phone a couple days beforehand to make sure. My appointment with him was cancelled 3 times by him. I finally went to see him on September 14. I waited over 2 hours in the waiting room and wasn't called. An hour in, I reminded the reception I was still waiting. After another hour, I was fed up, near tears as I was in extreme pain and told them I would reschedule with someone else. This is totally unacceptable. I am dealing with an unknown condition causing extreme pain and discomfort and I can't even see my doctor to get treatment.
