I was really impressed when I came here recently. I admit that I chose this location partly because…read moreof the extended operational hours in addition to the location, however I was wowed by the great service, pandemic distancing, and the fact that coming here was relatively stress free. Upon arrival without an appointment with an infant who needed blood drawn, I was told the wait would be around 40 minutes. To my surprise this ended up being more like 20 minutes in total. Not only was this a clean facility but the phlebotomists were excellent! Two were required to draw blood from my infant. Their communication was friendly, professional and helpful. Admittedly my parental anxiety is likely greater than the fear of an infant who is unfamiliar with the process. The infant's reaction was the worst to the tourniquet for the blood draw rather than the poke itself but the phlebotomists were excellent and I know now I will return the next time I require this service for my infant.

The crown is for my front tooth and so ideally should be perfectly matched. Robert and Irmina were intent on matching my tooth perfectly. We looked under many light sources and I found out they hand paint to tooth for a custom match. I left feeling confidant no one would ever know my front tooth was a crown. I'd go back just to visit then, really nice people.

The worker kept demanding an exact time and tried dumping me onto someone else when I kept telling her I don't know exactly the time. You need to retrain the staff to learn to count. If I say 9-midnight, how hard is it to look at the clock and count? If the test wants 8hr fast and I'm past that, then just mark down 8+. Never got any "care" since the worker couldn't and/or refused to do basic math. I know that math is hard in Alberta.

I was basically in and out in about 30 mins. I would however recommend making an appointment as the walk in wait time ranged from 20-40 minutes. The place was clean, my technician was very nice and she was also efficient. I hate blood tests and she did it all pretty quick. And bonus, I did it bruise, so she did a great job. My only complaint was how few appointments there were. At most locations it was at least a 2 week wait. I must have gotten an appointment that was cancelled as my appointment was only a week away.

Make sure this…read morelocation can do the X-ray you require, usually front desk receptionist will let you know or redirect you to another location and booking over phone. Overall the staff here is pleasant. Parking is moderately big, the wait room is big and stretched. Great ventilation. The wait is quite long probably half an hour but that's also because I'm in for walk-in without appointment. So I'm quite pleased. Just bring a device to distract yourself, you never know how long these waits may be.

This is a very busy place! Whenever I need to come here for blood work, I try to come super early…read moreto line up. Many times a long socially distanced line develops even before the lab opens. It's located within a mall, so you don't have to risk being subjected to the weather outdoors. I've been impressed with the way the staff have been handling the pandemic. I've experienced where they've done a preliminary check of your lab requisition, at a table set up outside the doors of the lab. They also ask you the Covid screening questions. Earlier during the pandemic, they even replaced our non-medical masks (made us put them in plastic bags and put them away) for brand new surgical masks. Though during my last visit, I've noticed that this practice has been changing to allow for non-medical masks. Of course they also have hand sanitizer to use. The staff are quite organized and efficient, considering the volume of people that use their services. I feel safe from Covid, when I'm sitting in the socially distanced chairs in the waiting room. I appreciate the monitors they have (displaying our first names), so you can anticipate when it will be your turn to get called in. The staff I've met have been friendly to me. This is a great lab to go to!

He drove home to pick me up and when we arrived back at the site, they refused to let me go in with him, telling us a student would be in there instead. A) it's a patient's choice whether to have a student present B) you don't have the right to deny a patient of having a family member present, esp given what you were investigating!

Instead my wife was asked to come in and I was left in the waiting room for approx 20mins before asking the receptionists if I would be allowed in soon (I really wanted to be in there with my wife, its our first kid after all) they informed me there wasn't room in the exam room for me to be in there, which I didn't really understand but they said it was protocol. I have since heard from a friend who works at Medical Imaging Consultants who said they allow both parents in the room for the whole exam and there is no real reason for the husband to be barred from the room. Even if it is "protocol"it would be nice to be told before hand that I can't be in the room. Also had the person doing the ultrasound just tell us the sex of our child. Never asked my wife during her exam, nor clarified with me when I came in the room if we wanted to know the sex. Was really disappointed they were not more professional and aware of what the parents were expecting or were hoping from their ultrasound.
