I'm a new patient of Dr. Rosalie, Gyno, so far I'm happy. I came from a really bad situation and she is very reassuring, her staff NA, Carmen, is pleasant and polite. And AMY, is a gem. She stayed on the phone with me for 47 mins as to ensure that the script was sent and received on the receiving end, because we kept getting fax error messages. Critique of of Practice (2 Stars): I absolutely can't get lucky in this area, 212-445-1660, is the worse. You will never get a hold of Ste. 311, which is baffling because they are FULLY staffed when you go into the office. The office administrators and clinical staff appear very unorganized, slow in response time and lack efficiency. The message receivers, whom are not located onsite, will be the only option if you don't live near the office. I had results that came in over a week ago, and I had to call multiple times to check in on them, and then when I could finally get a staff member on the phone, they told me they got lost in the mix of papers. Are you kidding me, Unacceptable. All the competent medical personnel must have retired. In the medical world, things are actually Life & Death. But I guess if its not yours, then other people just don't matter enough. That's the message Bergen Medical sends. Honestly, the 2 stars are for convenience for the onsite lab and cleanliness.

I'll go if I'm alive. This is the state of healthcare in US today. Medical enters don't care if you are dying .. where is the basic politeness?? forget about empathy etc. very disappointed

Extremely disappointing experience…read more I waited over two hours to be seen on multiple occasions despite having a scheduled appointment. What made the situation even more frustrating was being told repeatedly that I was "next" to be seen, only to watch other patients who arrived after me and had later appointment times get called back first. When I asked about it, the explanations I received from the staff were inconsistent and didn't match what I had personally observed. Rather than acknowledging the excessive wait time and poor communication, I felt like I was being given excuses. The doctor's explanation only added to my frustration and did not address the actual issue. In fact, he took an incredibly rude attitude toward me when I inquired politely about it. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but waiting over two hours more than once is unacceptable. After speaking with others in the waiting room, it was clear that I was not the only one with this experience. Patients deserve honest communication and respect for their time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

From there, I had to listed to his receptionists use profane language in conversation with each other, as if patients weren't right there in the waiting room. After an hour of waiting to be seen, I finally told them I needed to leave. I was told I would not be charged for anything, and sure enough I received a bill for the visit. Avoid this doctor and his office at all costs.
