I called his offices and Christina heard the desperation in my voice and scheduled me in. A catheter was immediately inserted which saved me. Dr. Bellman began treating me for an enlarged prostate and eventually it was evident that I needed something more all encompassing and permanent. Dr. Bellman performed a "Rezum" procedure that changed everything. I was finally free of constant discomfort every day with poor flow. I finally felt "normal" which can make quite a difference regarding a persons quality of life. Fast forward four years. I moved from Woodland Hills to Maui, Hawaii. I was there a short time when I suddenly developed extreme pain in my urethra. It persisted for a week and then two. I called every urologist on the island and none wanted to see me. They just said to go to the emergency hospital. As the pain intensified, I finally called Dr. Bellman's office, and as before, Christina told me to come in. I got on the next plane and saw Dr. Bellman the next day. He immediately began a series of tests and ruled out a number of possible causes that really scared me. He then prescribed antibiotics. He treated me for the next seven days while the antibiotics took affect and prescribed medicines for me to take back to Hawaii. I fully recovered. Dr. Bellman is a knowledgeable, caring and compassionate man who is willing to take the time to help those in need. His staff is always courteous, kind and professional. Anyone in his care is in good hands and very lucky.

After completing all my paperwork, I was taken back and was seen by the doctor shortly. He was very friendly and listened to my concerns. I had feared surgery but this was not his first go to. We are trying some different stuff to avoid surgery. On my second visit to him, I walked in early and got sent back right away. I was in and out in twenty minutes. Working in the healthcare industry made it an even bigger challenge. I met several different internists and did not have a good feeling about their attending to my health care needs. Then, I was blessed to have met Dr. Hung. He has a very distinct and caring bedside manner. I felt as he was listening to what I was saying that he had an interest in working with me. He has always known when to refer me to a specialist and I have been happy with all of the referrals given. The specialists have been as professional as Dr. Hung is. I remember when I was so anxious about getting a colonoscopy. I talked to Dr. Hung about it and he had some good insight. He told me of a patient of his who was so sorry he did not get the procedure done earlier. I understood the consequences that Dr. Hung was alerting me too. Interestingly enough, I saw Dr. Hung before this procedure, and he took the time to note that it was not approved. I could not believe it as I had waited so long for an approval. Fortunately, Dr. Hung, being so detail oriented, noticed this and I was able to get the gastroenterologist to put through an emergency request from the insurance, because the test was just days away. Dr. Hung's office staff are also very professional and dedicated to the practice. They are all so sweet and interact so well together.
