There is no doubt that Albert Management is an effective management company for HOAs. We recently left DRM for Albert and couldn't be happier. Speaking as the president of our HOA, our homeowners are seeing quick responses from Albert when they call with questions or concerns and our board is benefiting from quality guidance and competent advice. The difference for us is that Albert is local and seems to be more vested in ensuring that our homeowners receive quality help and assistance. Since going to Albert, we have been able to lower our HOA fees and more importantly, hire quality contractors who appear to work more closely with our Board and provide quality service. read more

Absolutely archaic payment system. This system needs to be updated with safeties in place for your customers. Communication can drastically be improved as well. Albert management claims they have best in class service. A best in class service will notify you via email or text if your HOA payment has not been processed. Credit cards get canceled, people go on vacation, and life happens. Instead, Albert management will send you exorbitant late fees for their customer with multiple homes and perfect track records. Every year I walk into your office and ask my HOA manager what my dues are for the entire year. I then submit a check for that amount to Albert Management. Last year, my HOA manager GAVE ME THE WRONG AMOUNT and I was in Europe for a couple months when my prepaid dues ran out. I was never notified, and instead I was charged $200 for 1 late fee, for a problem that originated with YOUR company's short comings. I emailed my HOA manager trying to resolve this issue and never even received a reply! Fast forward a year: I purchase another home in the same neighborhood under Albert Management, and I never even received even 1 bill for an HOA due. Instead I receive another $200 late fee for unpaid HOA dues. I did not receive 1 email, 1 text notification, or even 1 letter stating my dues have not been submitted. Again, life gets busy, cards get canceled, people go on vacation, or things get overlooked sometimes. Lo and below, somehow the late fee found my address but the monthly HOA bills couldn't? Aside from your Ancient payment system, Albert management is a company that scams its long standing customers and doesn't stand behind its work, or lack there of. read more

I live in DFCC and had issues with my vehicle RFID tag not o the gate, so I contacted AMI. The receptionist, Debbie, was very customer service oriented, took all my info down, and said she would contact the appropriate staff in charge of the gate issues. She got back to me very promptly with follow-up & the issue (apparently due to a transition in management of the gates) was resolved by the next day. I guess it could get worse, but not sure how. About three weeks ago I called Albert Management and asked for Jenny Covert and was told she was no longer there. I asked WHO was in charge of San Marino now. The lady looked it up and said Salina. I asked to speak to her, but she had already left for the day (it was 4:30). The lady asked what I needed and she would see if she could help. I told her I needed the Gate information as it did not seem to be working for me and my contractors. I also asked WHEN the Palm Trees would be trimmed as they were clogging my pool filters, and my pool company charges $500 to clean the filters (we live on the Gerald Ford side of San Marino). I told her she could call me back and leave a message. She never called. A week later I called again and got Salina and told her what I needed. She did not have the answers but said she would call back. She never did. A few days later I called again and asked for Salina and was told she was on vacation! So, I spoke to Joe (or Max) who did the work she requested. He said he would find out and call me back. Of course, he never did. I called this morning and talked to Salina and she tried to transfer my call to someone who could answer my Gate questions. I had already had my gardeners do the Palm Trees that were clogging my pool filter. The extension she tried to switch me too would not answer. I gave up and hung up. Bad experience for a company that charges us to take care of our issues! read more

UPDATE: My husband and I have been fined $100 PLUS LEGAL FEES for the negative review we left for ALBERT MANAGEMENT (see pictures). A 12-year relationship between an HOA and management company does not benefit a homeowner who dares to speak up. Sent me to collections without notifying me first. Now wants to foreclose on my home for a $1575.00 worth of missed payments in 2021 in a pandemic. All of 2022, 2023, and current 2024 have been paid. This was not an intentional miss of payments it was a fraud that occurred with the Automatic payments that nobody alerted the owner. read more

Not only were they responsive through Tropical Storm Hilary, but one of their vendors got to our cul de sac just before all the roads were shut down, and they literally saved all of the homes in our cul de sac, as the water was quickly rising, and pumped it away from our homes. We live in Colony Cove in Indian Wells. This management company has been put to the test over the last year based on some very difficult neighborhood disputes and chaos created by several residents. All of the employees and legal team were professional and provided guidance during this difficult time. They were responsive and handled the very volatile personalities involved appropriately and legally, utilizing proper laws, rules, and regulations to meditate each conviluted situation. This property management group is one of the worst companies I've ever encountered. I sold my home over 5 months and even though I notified them immediately that the home was sold and the new home owners would be paying the HOA's they continue to take the fees out of my account. I have called them each time this happens and they do reimburse me and assure me that it won't happen again however they still are charging my account. read more

Years ago I would have given one star. The managers treated homeowners very disrespectfully. Once left a nasty note on my boat threatening to tow it although it was parked on the street for two nights for prep and city ordinance allows three days and the street is not in the HOA. The did the same thing with a neighbors' motor home he was prepping for a family vacation. The distrubing part was ho nasty the employee was when I tried to explain that the street is not part of the HOA, which was advise Albert got from its own attorney previously. It felt like the employee were looking for ways to fight with homeowners. However, that was years ago. I had a recent interaction and it seems they have cleaned out the employees that were a problem and was pleased that they handled my small issue with a smile and promptly. But for the prior experience I would say four stars. read more

We transitioned to Albert Management a year-and-a-half ago from a very large, nation-wide organization. We had a chronically bad situation, at the end discovering a very large embezzlement (with full recovery, fortunately). The improvement in the management of our association has been nothing short of fantastic. I've been in three different HOAs during 30 years in the desert including on boards and committees. The Albert organization community manager and the Albert headquarters staff does by far the best in dealing with the challenging daily situations that come with the HOA experience. We are in the middle of the complex budgeting for our next fiscal year, dealing with high inflation on one side, and some of our most vocal owners who don't want to see a dues increase, even small, on the other. While they have no magic bullet to avoid the inflation, Albert's administrative support in identifying our options in building a financially solid budget is more than just helpful. My hat is off to Lori, Lori, and Fred in particular. read more

My sister and I inherited a property that is in a park managed by Albert Management. Since November of 2015, we have been trying to put in a simple permanent address change. It is now July of 2016 and have yet to receive mail at correct address. Going down in October for Desert Trip concert and probably will have to address this issue again. Not how I want to spend my vacation .Additionally, they charged us $200 for less than 5 minutes work to change names and contact info just within their system and are still unable to accomplish that. Speaks poorly of their organizational skills. I will be recommending a change of management when I return for Winter season. read more

What horrible customer service I received from an Albert Management Office Employee! I have NEVER been laughed at - EVER - in a customer service setting by a customer service employee in my life... and for simply asking questions to understand a process. Then I was placed on hold for more than 10 minutes and summarily dismissed as a second class citizen. I will never use Albert Management in the future based on this interaction, and strongly suggest customer service training for all employees.
