DON'T FART TOO LOUD!!…read more It was Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, around 9:00 in the evening, and we were a group of 50 year old women having a normal conversation in the pool. We were not loud, and we were not playing any music. The neighbors next door to the right (1966) were the source of the issue. They deliberately came outside to record us, listening in on a private conversation and trying to turn it into something it wasn't. Despite the fact that we were simply talking, we were recorded at the property line, and no sound measurement was ever taken. When we tried to discuss the issue calmly, an employee called the police on us stating "non compliance" and even her own coworker questioned why she did that as it was completely unnecessary. The police were called over a quiet poolside conversation at 9:00 on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. On top of it all, we were hit with a $500 fine for talking in the pool. What made it worse is that we were never given any warning. No one ever came to us and said keep it down, or asked us to move inside, or gave us any chance to adjust. Even after the neighbor complained, which is what started all of this, they skipped straight to putting us out. No conversation, no courtesy, nothing. They just removed us. That was callous, and it showed they were not interested in resolving anything, only in penalizing us. The whole thing felt less like a real noise issue and more like a setup. It is hard not to wonder whether this is part of how they operate: welcome guests in, watch for any excuse, and hit them with fines to pull in extra money on top of the booking. The speed and eagerness to record us, penalize us, and call the police over nothing left us feeling like the fine was the point all along, not our behavior.

Sometimes, we wish the higher ups would listen more to her, but.... The park is fully loaded since all the 'little homes' were brought..they aren't so little..they are beautiful additions. We have an older home, but the space around us, our yard and the fences/walls, gives us all the privacy we want. There is a beautiful pool and hot tub, the pool area is very conducive to gatherings and the clubhouse has so many amenities, it's just plain fun. Indoor/outdoor shuffleboard, pool table, gym, library. If you didn't need to by food, you wouldn't need to leave. And the new 'little house' people are very social and friendly...PCMC has become quite a community! Join us!!! if you can...

When my husband and I stumbled across this property in 2010 we knew we had found a diamond in the rough. The place needed some TLC but the location was the best in all of Palm Springs...located in the quiet beauty of South Palm Canyon Drive, steps from the mountain and a short distance from downtown. The VIEWS WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY and we never tire of them. We bought a place as an investment knowing someone would eventually see what we saw and renovate it. 10 years later we moved in full time and retired in the most beautiful community you will ever find. New roads, new pools, new clubhouse, new owners and new management! ALL stellar! Add to that some of the loviest people you will ever meet for neighbors. The Neighborhood Watch is one of the best I have ever experienced with crime almost a non event with well trained block captains, gated entries, 24 hour security and on site management who actually listen , care, and act quickly and responsibly on the behalf of the community. I could write for hours about the positives to living here. Come check it out! You will enjoy the many fun activities our various committees plan and the true sense of neighborliness you will feel almost immediately! As to the negative comments I see on here I will finish with this: There's a new sheriff at PCMC and things are not as they once were!

We loved overseeing our own property listing and scheduled our own bookings, but we dearly needed somebody to represent us, in-person, during our guests' stay. Our professional lives meant we needed somebody local, who could be on site at short notice, and who was reliable and as committed as we were to maintaining a high quality and joyful experience for all our guest bookings. Chris immediately met our needs. It was important to us that our guests valued our property manager's help as much as we did, and before long his name was regularly mentioned in our online reviews. Guests expressed how much they appreciated Chris being there to show them around our home, answer their questions and to assist, where necessary, with their additional needs. We always knew that we could count on Chris as our 'eyes and ears' on the ground, and as a vacation rental owner himself, he is also an expert at understanding of the market. He pays close attention and has a keen eye for when a guest or their actions might be questionable, which we always appreciated. If you are looking for a seasoned property manager who is welcoming, efficient and trustworthy, while also being discreet and tactful, Chris Ruetz is an excellent choice! We've since sold our property in Palm Springs, but we'll always have fond memories of our short term rental experience, and Chris played a big part in that, so thank you Chris!
