The kids were ecstatic with the size of the room, and my husband and I liked that there was a full size fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and a six person dining table. There were also two fullsized bathrooms, with the master bath including a tub. We had a king sized bed in the bedroom, and the kids slept on the sofa bed. The waterpark was the main attraction and our kids loved the lazy river, both waterslides, and the various pools. It was nice that there were smaller pools you could go to if you wanted a quieter experience. There was also a tot area with a smaller waterslide and splashpad and wading pool. Room keys were on the wristband, so you could wear that while swimming and not worry about losing your room keys. Globalists get free breakfast for two adults and two kids. During the week, there's regular restaurant service. On Fridays, Saturday and Sundays, there is a buffet brunch and that was much better than the weekday breakfast. Globalists also receive free access to the spa area, which was nice. Staff was all very friendly and kind and eager to help, which made the experience very pleasant. We hope to return next year, but we'll bring water shoes next time -- the pavement gets hot and sometimes you exit the lazy river or pool in a different area than where you left your sandals.

We went in with a huge shot list and a tight schedule so I began conversations ahead of time in regards to their tech packets which at the time were nonexistent. As a Lighting Programmer going into studios with a rig it's helpful for me to know details such as lighting fixtures, how many, where, their control system, patch, etc. especially with little prep/load-in time. This wasn't available but they did their best to provide as much information within their knowledge ahead of time which was appreciated. All in all the shoot went well and had the rig mapped out and under my control within an hour.

Tables were not promptly cleared, chairs were left out of place, and overall cleanliness did not reflect the premium status this club claims to uphold. For the cost of membership and the reputation they promote, these oversights are not minor; they are indicators of deeper issues in management and quality control. Dining was equally underwhelming. The menu felt uninspired, and the dishes lacked both presentation and flavor. Even basic items arrived lukewarm or poorly seasoned, which suggests a lack of attention from the culinary team. For a club that should pride itself on offering an elevated dining experience, this was perhaps the most surprising disappointment of the evening.
