The staff at this location are THIEVES the big black baracuda at the front desk took my Driver…read morelicense during my appointment and did not return it to me then made a false statement that she did. This urgent care location is covering it up as they obviously won't admit that their staff steals patients PHI the manager Danelsy Mena plus the other staff are aware of what this nurse did which makes everyone guilty by association. The corporate office refused to respond to me also made false statements that they couldn't get in contact with me to resolve this matter. I realized that the corporate office was deliberately calling me from a blocked number and choosing to not leave a voicemail. I reported this to the privacy officer Jaime Winans who also covered up this egregious act by giving me a general response when I requested the footage from the date in question be reviewed. They refused to give me this nurses name so I can file a complaint with the nurses board so i am listing everyone else who was involved that did nothing but cover up their unprofessionalism by protecting their staff and urgent cares reputation. If this nurse would do this in front of cameras because she knows her corporate office will lie to protect her she will definitely do it again and the staff there will cover it up again. I m writing this follow up review to make everyone aware. Make sure you get your identification returned although it is the staffs job to return it to you and when they don't they will lie! This is the utmost unprofessional location I have been to. I am appalled at the behavior and lack of consideration and professionalism that I was shown. After an initial scheduling hiccup that was not the fault of this particular facility -- looking at…read moreyou, unhelpful telephone "virtual assistant" -- the care itself was great. Had to kill a couple of hours but I expect some unpredictability at a walk-in clinic, anyway. The staff was friendly & patient with my daughter, and elicited good behavior which was in turn rewarded with some small toys that left her happy instead of distressed at the visit. An especially big shout out to Dr. Michael Ungerland. (Technically, he's a PA... but, in my experience, that frequently translates to "Physician without an Attitude."). He's a champ, and I'd seek him out again. One always hopes not to need medical attention, but it's comforting to have a go-to care facility while traveling.

We went to the Urgent Care in the early afternoon after my 2-year old son cut his chin, It was…read morerelatively minor and a clean cut, but would need to be closed. I checked into the Urgent Care Center and then waited over 2 hours in the waiting room before seeing anyone. They did not triage anyone who registered, it was just first-come, first-served. People with sore throats were seen before my son, who was bleeding all over the place. When we finally got into an exam room, the nurse (who was less than friendly) washed his chin and told me that the doctor would be in soon. A few minutes later, a PA shows up and proceeds to tell me that she can't glue his chin because the tissues were too swollen and would need to be trimmed (in my opinion, probably as a result of waiting so long), that my son will need stitches and that she doesn't do trimming or stitches and there was no doctor in the office. So, after waiting ~2 1/2 hours to finally see any medical personnel, they tell me that I have to go to the ER instead. If they actually did TRIAGE when I first got there (like any other Urgent Care or ER I've ever been to), they could have referred me immediately to the ER and I could have saved a lot of time and money since they also billed me for doing absolutely nothing but telling me I needed to bring him somewhere else. (On a side note, the Ellis ER got us in and out in about 30 minutes). I would avoid this Urgent Care, there's a total lack of process or organization and the staff is less than friendly. I guess it's ok if you have a sore throat or congestion, but beyond that, they seem incapable of taking care of minor medical problems that shouldn't require a trip to the ER.

In and out on Thanksgiving Day within an hour. I scratched…read moremy cornea the night before Thanksgiving. I was at this Urgent Care when they opened at 9 am. I was the second person helped. After filling out my paperwork, I was seen within ten minutes of sitting down to wait. I was taken back and saw a great PA. She had the right equipment to diagnose my scratched cornea. She looked up what pharmacies were open, since it was Thanksgiving, and sent in two scripts. She was great. I left here after a total of an hour with my problem solved. The ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful as well. They looked up my insurance information and charged me the correct copay. No hassles at all. I know of two other people who went to this Urgent Care Center and had great experiences. Unfortunately, sometimes only the bad experiences get a review. This wasn't the case with me.

I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of people who were here hours after me and then were seen before me. The common phrase overheard "I was here last night and left because the wait was so long I'm feeling worse today." There is clearly no systems in place here to help patients in a timely manner. I only came here cause all urgent cares were closed at the time I needed assistance. Wait times now are going on 3.5 hours. I'm only staying at this location because I have committed to waiting here for this long. If you need assistance seek help elsewhere. I can't comment on the care cause I haven't been seen... I will update this review after being seen. Update #1: we have hit the four hour mark. The RN behind the counter sincerely cares for patients you can tell she is doing anything she can to get people in. We will wait a bit longer and give a second update. Update 2: Nurses in back are very friendly! I would have less severe and severe rooms to reduce wait times for all patients. There was NO reason to be here four hours for what I needed to be seen for. The only reason to come here was because nothing else was open at the time and my primary told me to.

My fiancé was in Ellis Hospital since early Monday morning for chest and stomach pain. He got told…read morethat he needed surgery to get the stent removed which he did and the surgeon told us everything went well. The next day he got told that he had an infection and they were giving him antibiotics which was fine. Within a few hours later i spotted 2 big black and blue bruises on his leg and hip that was no where near the stent removal.(HE DID NOT HAVE BRUISES WHEN HE WENT IN) They kept giving him medication that was not working and they said that they don't know what one was doing the job so they kept giving him more which was making him drowsy and sleeping all day. They also negotiated him and letting him sit in his own bodily fluids not only that they refused to feed him for 24 hours and left him starving all day and they did nothing about it they also did not let him use the bathroom when needed they kept him in bed and not allowing him to walk around and stretch. When he asked for something it took the nurses and doctors hours to respond to him. The doctors and nurses do not care about anyone in the hospital they rather chitchat to each other about themselves.

They literally told my mother inaccurate information about a medication that she was taking. She had extremely high blood pressure for which she ended up landing up in the ER.. and asked if she could be given something to control the BP after her discharge.. she was told the medication she was already taking would suffice to help the BP... when really that medication (i later confirmed with her cardiologists office) was only to help with the heart rate irregularities she was experiencing. Her cardiologists office confirmed that the nurse in the ER was wrong. 65 different nurses will come visit you in a matter of 24 hours but none of them know what is going on. It's almost like there is 0 to minimal documentation that is done with fidelity and integrity. When you ask them for something they look at you as if you have 0 right to ask them for anything. It's absolutely disgusting.

I explained to the PA that since it was Saturday and my daughter had volleyball camp on Monday I didn't want her to miss camp because of sickness so could he just give us a prescription she could start just in case. The PA refused. I ended up going to a different urgent care that was much more professional and I was able Have an actual doctor check my daughter over and talk to her about her symptoms. She said she always gives a prescription for anabiotic's when it sounds like it's strep instead of waiting three days for the results of the second swab. I will definitely never go back to this urgent care. They were more interested in talking about what they were ordering for breakfast than they were in talking to us about my daughter symptoms.

They are billing for money in excess of what insurance did not cover. When you are "in network" you are in contract to take what the insurance will pay. Fraudulent charges ?! This place is shady.
